Kat returned Kyros's bow and introduced herself again. "My term has been good so far, though busy." To Maddox and Magnus, she added, "There's nothing wrong with being competitive -- and being proud of your house is fine. And I suppose poking fun at your own house -- or even others -- is alright, so long as people know you're not serious. I don't always catch that." She shrugged.
Eros actually spoke up, and the Ravenclaw gave him a faint smile. "I am, yes. Kat -- Katsumi, that is. I don't believe I know your name."

The Slytherin folded his arm and stood up straight. "Your boyfriend threatened me once," Eros remembered. He remembered not taking too kindly to that. "We almost got into a fight." The Aussie studied the girl for a bit. His expression softened before taking a step back and once again, leaned on the post behind him. "Eros," he gave her his name.
"Did he? I wasn't aware." Kat frowned. "I wouldn't presume to know why, but that's not usually like him. Not if he meant it." Her smile returned for a brief moment before vanishing back into the girl's usual mostly-neutral expression. "Nice to meet you, Eros." She didn't push for conversation, though she wouldn't object. But she could tell he wasn't the sort of person that would chat at length with anyone and everyone. It was something she understood well, being that way herself most of the time.

"I might have pushed his buttons a bit," Eros admitted. "But I can't not respect him, though," Eros smirked faintly. "Kid definitely stood his ground. And he did apologize...," he shrugged. The apology definitely wasn't needed at the time, especially since Eros hadn't. "I think he might do well in these games," the teen added, giving someone a rare compliment. "So you're two for two so far. Do you plan on attending all the workshops this term?," he asked, trying to get a read for what kind of student Kat was.
((OOC: Sorry everyone! :( I wasn't able to post yesterday or this morning. I flew back to school today. I'm trying to narrow down my notifications right now. I'll catch up with the workshop after I'm done deleting some pings. You'll all be sorted into your teams today. c:))
Poppy waved back to Eros () and Kyros ().
"I actually meant in-house rivalry, but I do agree that we need more inter-house cooperation. I would think that anyone who meets you would gain a tremendous amount of respect and understanding for your condition. My house has vampires who are interesting and eloquent people. So many wizards fear different kinds of beings."

She was sorry to have made a poor first impression on Maddox, and made up her mind to approach him later to apologize.

Magnus gave Maddox a smile. "Don't worry 'bout it, it appears to just be a misunderstandin." He shrugged to Poppy. "Everyone 'ere as been great but...well I've met my fair share 'o people who hated me on principle. Couple o' people told me I should be killed. I imagine the vampires get it too."
Magnus nodded to the others and then regarded Eros and Kat. "Eros," Magnus said with a nod, keeping his hands in his pockets but his tone was friendly. He wasn't sure what to make of the teen but he was trying to be friendly without being pushy. "Looking forward to the flying part, yeah?" he asked to anyone who wanted to answer.
(and anyone else I forgot sorry )
Eirik walked down toward the group with . They had decided some fresh air might be nice.
"hello everyone, nice day...? Looking forward to the workshop...?" he said with a smile. "or am I interrupting something...."

Aria watched as everyone came and stood around the announcement board and chatted. Standing in the background allowed her to see the friendship-bonding and really appreciate it. She had begun to feel so at home and in the right place here at Hogwarts, and that was a pretty amazing thing to her.

I really really extremely want:"Eirik!" Magnus said and even though the boy was normally a very bubbly person prone to giving hugs to close friends, he was not known for hugging people he didn't know well. Still, he grabbed Eiric in a quick hug smiling at the older boy. He didn't know why but he did feel like Eirik could be an older brother.

"Good to know that you're enjoying the term. We do have an awful lot of homework, though... I'd like to have more time to check the library." Kyros sighed, thinking on all his lost nights with books and nightmares, and how bad his dark circles should look now. "At least it's good for us to stretch once in a while. Is that what you brought you all to this workshop? Or are you just the competitive type?" The boy could notice something awkward in the way the others were behaving, with the bunch of apologies and mentions to his House. He hoped this kind of talk could ease the sudden tension, at least enough to make everyone more comfortable around him - though he did took note about the boy named Maddox, the one who stormed off. That little group was the one he greeted soon afterwards, all smiles and charm.
"Hey, sorry, I don't think we've met before. You're both from Slytherin as well, right?" He was quite sure they were, though asking would make it seem more incidental rather than he wanting to make connections. "Bet we were all busy these weeks. I'm Kyros, anyway." He tried to sound informal and respectful at the same type. None of them looked friendly, and he didn't want to make a bad impression. Slytherins should stick together, but at least I can have an idea of how those two react.
A new, known voice called his attention, and Kyros couldn't help but smile his best trickster smile at them. "Hey hey, welcome to my favorite couple... Ready for another snowfight, you two?" He touched a cheek with a finger in his already traditional mischievous pose. "This time things will be different, I can assure you~"

Eirik was surprised when Magnus hugged him, but smiled and hugged him back. "Hey you, how have been..? I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to talk with you, but I have been swamped with homework. I have something in the works for the near future though."
He stopped and looked at Magnus. "You look good, like life has been treating you well." He turned to face the group. "Looking forward to competing..? and I just came down to observe...didn't think it would be fair to compete when we...have certain advantages...over everyone else."
Eirik turned when his housemate Kyros greeted him. "hello...long time no see..well, at least when you are mostly conscious, or not studying. You competing...? "

Kyros blushed slightly at the mention of him not being conscious. His back were still hurting from falling asleep in the Common Room, but he wouldn't tell that to Eirik. "Of course I am! What do you mean you two are not?" He crossed his arms, looking disappointed. "I was looking forward to having a rematch, after that last time... But well, you do have a point. At least we can chat for now..."

"I live in the library. Honestly," he said with a crooked smile, "it'd be faster if they just put me bed in there. Oh, I'm competitive, Kyros," Magnus replied. "When lived in the orphanage, we 'ad games of all sorts and did things like this in the summer. We all got an ice lolly at the end. It was loads of fun."
"I've been okay. Got over whatever it was an' been working on me class work and what 'ave you. No worries." He frowned when Eirik said he'd not be competing. "You know, I'm still competing. I'm sure people 'ave things that offset the faster, stronger and better 'earing I 'ave."

"I think I'd be glad for a bed in the library too. Though I don't think the librarian would like that. I don't think she likes me very much, what with I showing so up early on her doorstep trying to return books." Kyros chuckled, brushing a stray curl away from his eyes. Said eyes light up with a hint of malice after Magnus' admission of being competitive. "Oh, so we have another player here as well. Hope we get on the same team, Magnus. If we don't, I won't take it easy on you~" He smirked mischievously. "But we can share ice cream afterwards, if you don't mind. Losing or winning, we gotta have some class."

Eirik just smiled. "Honestly, I am too competitive..I don't like to lose, and might do anything to win..and that could hurt someone. "
He looked at Magnus, "maybe they do...but its not a fair competition if we aren't all mostly evenly matched, and IF on the offset that , myself or you are on the winning team, the losing team could point out it wasn't a fair game because of us." He shrugged. "Just my way of looking at things."

Fable smiled holding onto her coffee. She had been quiet lately but it was nice to see her friends. She flicked her tail and took a sip from her coffee.

Magnus laughed, "You're on. Won't fight dirty, but'll fight. And then ice cream. Though if you wanna see some really nasty shenanigans you should watch me mum play Quidditch, now she's dirty. Played on the Holly HeadHarpies. Nearly killed me dad trying to score for Ravenclaw way back when."
"You're nobler than I, then," he said, "cos I'm gonna play. But I respect your choice." "'Ey Fable," he said waving, "You're lookin' nice today."
