lavender or heather to me XD. There sure are! I love it. I lived in German and england :) visited a lot of Europe.
it certainly made for some interesting sewing (and some hand sewing at the end just to close a few rogue gaps where the fabric shifted and the seams didn't quite line up 😊) ;)
ooo Happy birthday River for yesterday ;) :D That little dragon looks like he's trying to catch the jelly beans in the background today, and that was fantastic layering with the dress & skirt :D :D hehe it could well be winnie-the-pooh :P although if it is, then I think he'd fallen into a vat of treacle that changed his fur colouring :P
nods I did apply before, but they had enough people at that point - I'm hoping that if I do a couple more product testing blog posts for them, they might keep me in mind for when they have a space on their regular blogging team ;) nods RP-Paddy wasn't too keen to discover what might happen if the mother bear turned up while she was shooing off the cub :P Well at least they shouldn't need to be repotted again for ages - this is the first time I've done them, and I've had those little cacti for about 11 years now (a family friend let me pick the cacti I wanted that her late mother had grown, and all those little cacti came from one plant I picked out!). I don't have the original plant any more, but I think I've got plenty of little plants to keep me going laughs

hehe I also thought it looked like the hummingbirds were too xD aww thank you :) I've been meaning to try things under that dress haha true he was too dark :P love the bear and bg today :)
especially the hummingbird to the right, that looks like it's trying to nab the jellybean that's bounced off River's head :P ;) It worked really well :D I realised I had a couple of different coloured bear cubs, so I thought I'd use a different one today ;)

Oh yes, it could be heather too, I hadn't thought of that. xD It sounds lovely! I only got to visit my relatives in England once, and I was only 2 years old at the time. Sadly, don't remember much of anything. I would like to go back at some point, most of my mom's extended family is still living there. Ooo, I love the rainbows today! All of River's pets look like they are trying to catch the jellybeans. xD Did she get a baby dragon, too? o: Has she decided on hummingbird names yet? :D
Oh, I hope so! It should definitely help if you have blogged about product testing for them before. :D Ahaha, I don't blame her! Momma bears can be quite protective. Your little bear has found an interesting spot today. Which background is that? I love the colors. :D Wow, that's a long time! I have heard that they grow very slowly, although I think the more sun you give them, the faster they may grow. My mother-in-law had a small cactus for about 10 years, but when she moved, she put it in the new sun room and it grew like crazy. It is about 10 feet tall now, it's nuts! It's neat that all of those little cacti came from one plant. I think they will keep you busy for a while. xD
Its been a really nice week so far. ^_^ Might do the movies tomorrow.
Paddys stuffed animal fabric is awesome. :)
That baby bear on your HA is too cute! Might have to wishlist that one. 👼

-giggles- I know right? thanks :) I love it. its a cute bear.
maybe you'll be able to go soon! <3 thank you :) hehe I was amused how well the jelly beans worked. nope lol thankfully she's just feeding it xD oh the birds... not yet lol needa think on that another lovely study of purples XD whats the inner punch? And her hair--love the hair
ooh what movie?
I hope so, that would be nice! They did work really well. ;) Haha that is probably good, wouldn't want her to get overwhelmed with pets. xD That's okay, sometimes I take forever with mames. Lol Thanks! The inner one I think is . Hehe thank you, I like the hair too! It's new, I had to try it out.
hehe she does have the start of the twelve days of Christmas song haha. Yeah names can be tricky. ah, neat :D what is the hair? its very cute :D
Ahaha, yes it seems that way. xD They can be! I took a while deciding on the names for Rain's pets. The hair is . It's shorter than I normally use, but I loved the color so much! That's a cute non-human HA you have today. :D You've done some very clever layering with all of the background/foreground items! The bunny looks quite comfy. ;)
-giggles- what are her pets and their names? cos I don't think I know this. its really cute :) aww thank you :) -blushes- ooh your girl is pretty :) love how the glasses match everything else :)
She has an augurey named Fade and snowy owl named Wintersong. =) I am making progress on the owl, by the way! I am shading it at the moment. Thanks. :D You're welcome. :D Hehe, thanks! I am trying to alternate HAs between Keet and Rain so neither one gets left out. xD This new dress was a little tricky to work with, but it's so pretty.
sits and admires your HA That looks amazing :D The background was the - I wanted something that kind of went with the bear cub laughs 😮 Whoa, that's one huge cactus! Mine are sitting in a south facing window, so they get a lot of sunlight (well, as much as possible for here :P), but some do seem quite slow to do anything (which at least means it's possible to rescue them if they get too dry, before they die ;))
Thanks :D hehe I realised I had three different bear cubs in my wardrobe, but I think there's possibly still some I don't have yet ;) I tried using the last bit of cheap fake fur to make a trial run of a giant plushie bear today - it went quite well until the fabric was so heavy and slippery that it was pulling away from the needle.... so I hand stitched a few of the seams with 4 lots of thread in the hope that'd make a strong seam! 😊
And another amazing outfit! I love the way Zhah is reclining on the steps :D pokes Lene's comment for today's sewing I did run out of stuffing though, so that'd be either a trip to Hobbycraft or a trip to town.... and a struggle to carry it back, as the pattern says it uses 1.5kg, and they sell it in bags of either 250g or 450g o.O

Ended up with shopping and chinese food instead. Might watch spiderman next week. ^_^
You cant have too many animal companions on here. :D
I am sure no one will be able to tell any difference. The stitches will be mostly hidden in the fur I would think? :)

hehe definitely not ;)
nods I stitched the seams from the inside, so as long as they're strong enough, nobody should be any the wiser once he's finished ;)

I don't remember the owl lol xD Pretty name though :)
ooh cool ^.^ can't wait to see it!
Yeah I tried to use it myself but I couldn't make it work well so I didn't get a slot. I'd thought it'd look cute on River.
get a wagon to pull it XD lol. Sounds like a good sewing feat though.
I hate when fabric is heavy and its hard to work with. That was my problem with the shopping tote for the expo. Got it in the end but there were some not-straight/wonky top stitching lmao
Aww thanks:D
love the shopping with the pup ha XD
ooh sounds perfect :D. We went to two shops today but it took ages because of traffic and weather. about 4 hours in driving -sighs-
laughs it's not all that heavy, but just bulky - I'll get them to sellotape the packaging down, so it's compressed enough to fit into my bag :P Awww that stinks when it pulls the topstitching to one side :K I think part of the trouble with the bear was the legs being tucked inside the body while I was sewing (so it made the side of the seam allowance a lot thicker).... once I pulled them through the gap in the back, it was slightly easier ;) Thanks :D I got the top yesterday so I wanted to try and make a foody shopping outfit laughs That's a fantastic flying carpet outfit you've got today :D

Thank you! :D I had to try out the new dress and background. Oh neat, thanks for letting me know. That's a pretty background. Your HA today is cute, too! Your donut sweater goes perfectly with that background. Did RP Paddy make a new buddy? ;) It really is! It started to sprout flowers too, just this year. I guess most cacti just grow very slowly. xD It's good that you are able to rescue the cacti before they dry out too much!
Thank you! I like all of my characters to have an owl, and snowy owls are so pretty. It was tricky to use! If you ever want to try again, you are welcome to borrow my copy. =) That new hair looks lovely on River. I like her magic carpet, too! I need that whole sea glass set, it's all pastel rainbow! xD
That is what I was thinking. :) The bears you make all look so adorable. :)
:shakes fist at having to change to imgur for everything: Its a major pain in the rear to put it mildly. :P
That sounds like a hoot, not. o-o hopefully you got everything you needed.

-giggles- I can just see their faces at that request xD oh yes I know what you mean. Stuffing the legs, arms and head into the body and the sewing is a nightmare. I did it with the fox. aww thanks :D. Been aching to do one with her flying xD loving the stormy look today. Tis it raining?
hehe yay owls. aww thank you <3 thanks :D hehe the moment I saw the set I was like RIVER lol. what a lovely night ha you've got. how'd you make the moon like that?
we didn't need anything perse lol but yes we found a lot of lovely things ^.^ was two scrapbooking stores hehe
