and it's always the pricey stuff you end up looking at as well (I spotted some fake fur that's about £18 a metre - and the new bear pattern uses an entire metre, plus about 1kg of stuffing which costs about the same amount o.O).... Whoa, those photos are great! I've never seen an American Goldfinch before - that's definitely an unusual way to perch to take the food! And the hummingbird photo is incredible! :D I don't think I could've got a photo that clear to be honest - I'm better with slightly larger birds laughs ;)

hehe I've been trying to take photos of Swifts.... they're probably no way near as fast as the hummingbird, but so far I've just blurry splodges in the photos :K :P That was incredibly close range for the hummingbird though! 😮

:P It does work really well - those dragons could've been made to go together :D Thanks :D I got the bag sweatshirt this morning, so I had to use it ;) I wasn't planning on doing any sewing today.... and ended up making myself a new hairband (the crocheted one was a bit warm for summer :P), a Christmas present, and a blue starry bat to sit on the shelf in my room :D

And because I know that you'd like to see the starry bat....

I hid the bat in the blanket, to try and get a photo of the wings in the dark (the blanket made the bat look purple.... but it is actually royal blue :P)

Oh, that fur looks awesome! I can see why you would like to make a plushie with it. ;) I don't blame you, I'd wait too. Yes, it's a pretty neat frame. I've had it for a while, but I was having some trouble getting it to layer right with certain outfits. I'm glad it worked out this time. :D Oh swifts are quite fast, we have chimney swifts here, too! Anything that moves quickly is hard to take nice clear photos of, unfortunately. xD I hope you have some luck with the swifts, I am curious as to whether they look different than ours do. ;) Yes, the hummingbirds are quite bold! If you are super patient, you can actually get them to eat out of a feeder in your hand. I would love to try it sometime. I like your monochrome HA today! Is that a new sweater?
