Sunshine?! What the hell is that? lol This is the time of year I actually don't like the 'shine. It magnifies the dreariness of it all, and when it snows, everything is WAY TOO BRIGHT. And it's not like we're surrounded by evergreens so it's immensely annoying. 😔

Yeah, it's been sunny and cold. While I know we won't be seeing anymore snow this winter, it's still a time of year I just want to curl up w/ the kitties and day-sleep. 😒 On a lighter note, I have noticed the return of the light so now when I leave work late, it's not dark anymore. Each week I see a little more and I anticipate it as much as I do when it leaves after the summer solstice.
(like, gimme some huge rocks and let me make a large scale sundial!) heheh

I am so upset. My electricity bill jumped up over a hundred dollars this month and I don't know why since nothing is different. Have to call them on Monday and argue. won't do any good because you know everyone is always right except the customer. grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Afternoon/Evening Everyone! We got all of our grocery shopping done yesterday, so we mainly get to have a lazy weekend! Mom and I might run out to look for some new canisters for the kitchen (the old ones are plastic, ancient, and starting to break down, because they're starting to smell weird), but that's about it. I may try to run off to the gym tomorrow, but not to sure about that. Otherwise, I'll be on and off all weekend, especially because I'll be getting some work/studying out of the way, so I'll be near the computer.

Going grocery shopping today. Procrastinated it too long and now it's gonna be a big bill. But, it's gotta get done. Blah. Hopefully the stores won't be too busy since it's super bowl sunday but who knows, maybe all the non football fans will be out.

It's a tricky little item to work with for sure (which you can borrow any time). I've found limited number of blue items I own that work. I have one more outfit made with it waiting to wear onsite some time. Can't seem to figure out a way I like it with something that contrasts more. I'll keep playing though 'cause I do like it. I really wanted the cream/gold one but settled on the blue figuring I'd not find the other for sale. Though I've managed to get a few items off my most wanted list in recent weeks so I guess I should never say never.

I didn't know today was the superbowl until like noon today. Yeah, I don't really care. Just spent most of the day curled up trying to be warm. Really tired. I miss you sun.

Good Morning KSers! sips coffee I have quite a few things/chores to get done around the house, and I'm going to run to the gym later. I'm determined. I also need to study for a test, so I'll do that throughout the day. First I'm going to get a few quests done I think. I hope everyone has a good Monday!

- I mean it's just the Super Bowl.. our house pretty much just watched to see the commercials, and there were quite a few good ones. They're worth looking up if you get some time. There are also quite a few taking stances on political views, but in the right direction in my opinion.

Totally forgot yesterday was Superbowl and I did want to watch. Love the Patriots (have for about 2 decades now) and really wanted to see the halftime show w/ Lady Gaga. Wasn't feeling that great so just laid around finishing up the second season of Penny. I kinda think I'm having gallbladder issues on looking up symptoms so I went to a trusted natural news site and found that milk thistle is good for both gb and the liver. Will be picking that up today at the store. That and beets, lol. Just want to try more of a detox before I go the Dr. route.

I'm so w/ you on the procrastination. I did so w/ our laundry for 2mths and I hate it not only b/c I have to go to the laundry mat, which is maybe a quarter mile away but also b/c I despise putting away clothes. My room upstairs has the smallest closet ever so I don't have much room to hang shit and I just now got one of my brother and sis-in law's FIVE dressers (yes, they have like no room to move in their room) to put stuff in.
Ugh, I just want to throw everything away and start over - and not just w/ clothes. Why do we hang on to so much crap! lol I also agree - I have few blues that actually work well together and it's quite frustrating. Trying to venture out from my pinks isn't all that easy, but in saying that, I've seen more versions of pink than I would ever feel comfortable w/ and that is driving me crazy. 😖

Hii bb! <3 Yes, I was mushy over the weekend due to my wonderful monthly friend. Still kinda feeling the after-effects, emotionally, but I'm getting better. Lots of changes going on at work and there are lots more to come so everything is a bit of a rollercoaster.
On a lighter note, bubby and sis (future reference, brother and wifey) paid the majority of the electric bill so while it probably isn't all their fault, it really helped. I've been hearing and reading about a large number of people that experienced a hike in the past month and there's absolutely nothing anyone of us can do - except band together, which will never happen due to the complacency of people. It really makes me wanna go off grid in terms of electric/gas, but startup costs range from 3-6k and that's a moderate solar and genny install. Honestly, we just don't get enough sun here in OH for solar panels to be much use. I've talked about this w/ others who feel the same way, or just s/one else (a coworker) who feels the exact same way I do about being "made for sunlight" and being on the beach, lol. He's about 15yrs older than I, invested in a couple modular ? homes down in FL (they were like 20-30k) and explains the huge difference there is from when he leaves OH and the amount of sunlight there is when you get out of "the valley".

Another example of an energy hike. I doubt you'll get anywhere but if you find some ways to resolve the issue, let me know. It almost seems random, since there are several at my work that haven't experienced it, but several at my sis-in-laws work that have, including us. We're all w/ the same provider.

I guess if everyone experienced the same thing at the same time, people would be more likely to band together. Best to keep us separated....

SMUSHES I don't feel you have any reason to be sorry for finding fun in other avenues. Most of us know how to reach you and I just want you to be happy, no matter what you're doing. <3

Want to know what else you've been getting into so I'll have to catch up and then come back. (don't worry, I will so you don't have to repeat yourself) - really try not to have people do that. :P Hope school is going well for you.

Just wanted to note that yep, I do tend to get mushy at times. Nope, people in my life (besides my immediate family) really get to see that side of me. The only thing you guys really don't get to see is my brute honesty. :P I do have a general filter in RL that I've worked on for a long time but in general, the people here that have never met me get to see a gentler side of me. (I'm mean at work and my supervisor says I must've been the bully in school... half jokingly, since he's half asshole and half decent himself, lol) - I wasn't, but I most certainly was the one who stood up to them; Always. Guess that makes me the opposite of an internet troll. :P

- It's not like I don't pop in here all the time! hugs I log in to check messages on my phone and such everyday when I don't actually get on the computer. Sometimes it's nice to relax and play with some coffee and breakfast though (what's currently happen). Soon I need to get some chores done, but I'm ignoring them for now (they really won't take that long). smushes

T- It sucks your rental doesn't have a washer. :( I never want to have to use a laundromat again! I hate them so much. Don't even need a dryer but I need a washing machine and then I'll turn a room into my own drip dry area if I had to. Already hang half my clothes anyway. I don't know totally why we keep half the stuff we keep. Much of what we have are nearly three households worth of stuff from my grandparents and eventually my mom's house. I do find it hard giving up stuff from my childhood and from my grandparents. Like it's the only way to hold on to them. But, we are trying to do more of the purging and are doing better. And my dad had tons of old radios/tv/components that we need to get rid off. Really old stuff because his dad had a tv store for awhile when he was a kid (it burned down) and he also worked the radio in the navy, so he liked to collect that stuff. We have no idea about any of it and that's a pretty daunting project. Don't want to throw away anything that we might get some money for. I guess that's another reason, something we have might be worth a little something to someone. The problem is figuring out how/making the time to try to sell them. crawls under covers at the overwhelmingness of it all

@ skye_raven I've only bought one item from a user shop so far and had to scramble to buy with sP the csc for it 'cause it was the Citrine Shard Strands and I knew it would go poof quick. Was surprised anyone even just put it in their shop. I didn't own any of the shard strands and had exactly two on my WL and this was one. I was pretty happy. They are so popular still I didn't think I'd ever catch one in a color I would actually use (had seen a few in colors I'd never use but don't want to buy something "popular" just to buy it). And it was at slot price, else I'd not buy it either. Some items are crazy priced. Thousands of csc. Why? I don't get it. They are already overpriced for pixels. If I couldn't get csc with sP I'd never own any.

@ slippy I'm starting to look forward to survival too. Can't wait to see what crazy zombies they come up with and if we get some sort of plot.

Okay, procrastinated enough and with getting up and down (washed hair, reheated coffee, chatted with mom) it's taken me more than an hour to type, lol. Y'all have a good day.

No worries, I ended up setting up another appointment for March 21st at 8am, just wish she wasn't so packed with her schedule because it's so difficult to see her.
