Thank you for the nice welcome back! It has been quite a few years since I've been on this site, but I came off and on to make sure my username wasn't wiped. It's really a pleasure to see so many positive changes to the site, like the wardrobe - wow!

Well, I have finally gotten the cold down to only an annoying cough that doesn't accomplish much xD Seriously, stupid and ridiculous cold. I thought I had it beat days ago, but noooo.... Anyway, I'm now searching for a new laptop because this one is starting to slow down and just gain problems. Sticky notes crashes it -_- Just trying to find something that will play the games I have on this one and not be so slow, lol.

I've been lurking more than anything, like some of the others x) Usually I can't wait for Survival, but I haven't really enjoying it as much the past couple of years. Hopefully this year will be different :)

Welcome back! Yeah, the wardrobe I think is one of the largest changes on the site, other than the forums/ping groups and lack of cults x)

It is hard to just pick one, especially now that you mention all of the different site events that I had forgotten about. I think sometimes it depends on the time of year for me which events I enjoy more. I think Morostide actually stresses me out because I'm so obsessed with getting all of the items from ToT that I can't stop checking in and refreshing the page. It's actually that way with a lot of the events for me by the end. Sometimes, I'm relieved when they are over so I can stop checking the site so often. :) I think that's why I prefer the plot element because I enjoy the puzzles and steps that go along with it, but it's not something that is that fast moving so I can participate and enjoy myself without feeling like I need to refresh every 5 minutes. I think I enjoy the HAs most at masquerade. I used to really enjoy getting dressed up for it in different outfits everyday. Maybe I can do more of that this year!

I do feel way less stressed at the moment. We've got report cards going out for the semester, which is a little stressful, but the looming degree test is gone and I feel better. :) I've got a few art projects for books at the moment, but as long as I'm still enjoying the art as a stress reducer, it's alright that I have "work" after work. :)

How have things been for you? How is the living situation with your brother? How's everything else?

Feel better! Good luck finding a computer. It's always a big thing to find something. I'm never sure what I really need and what I don't really need in a computer and get a little overwhelmed sometimes. :) I hope you find the right one!

hi bb <3 ..lol i'm looking, just need a few more things caught up if i can, everything this month is pretty well shot for putting anything towards it, but we shall see how it goes..i was sorta hoping i could pay off my lease on my phone first, that would cut down my phone bill considerably every month and give me some extra ...that is... if it can hold out that long lol actually it's not dumped on me in i think 3 days now, but it's doing some crazy stuff, like my mail is all screwy now and the other night i wanted to do a restart and it just sat there with a black screen for 2 hours (i was waiting and playing on my ds) so i finally just sat it down in the floor and went to bed, the next day i picked it up around 12 and it still was unresponsive ..it still said that thing down on the bottom right about hitting esc for something or other but anyway no keys i hit did any good so i just figured it was probably a goner so i went ahead and hit the power button off and then back on and it started back up as usual again lol anyway it still could die soon, so we'll see how finances goes :/ .. ohhh we got some snow last night too, just a light dusting though and now we're supposed to be in or another cold week again ;/ .. and thanks for the compliment bb and i love yours too❤️ oh they still haven't gotten our hearts right yet, but supposed to be trying :) ..soon i hope :/ <3 you!

Hey all! Looking to join some more cults, just for fun. So, here goes...

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? I answer to Raine, rainestorme, or Amy (my real name), as well as occasionally Storm(e). Incidentally, when my friends and I were younger, we each "were" one of the X-men, and I was, in fact, Storm. :O

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc. ) I am into HA's and achievements, mainly. I am in the process of building up my battle pet, as well, but I can't really call myself a battler. :O The achievements I'm currently focusing on our the wardrobe layer/fullness and SubQ ones.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the cult? I am on most days, although my weekends tend to be busier, so sometimes I disappear. I'm at home during the day. Theoretically, I should be working on a book translation, so when I get caught up in that, I tend to be less active, but when I'm avoiding my work (which is often), I tend to be here, hanging out with my cults, doing my quests, and stalking the shop advertising forum for good deals. And since I avoid my work more than I get caught up in it, yews, I can safely say I'd be quite active, as long as there are people around when I am, to be active with!

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other cults? Sometimes I run out of things to do on here, and get a bit board (especially if the boards in my other main cult are quiet), so I'd like to join at least one more cult (or I guess group, now). I'm currently in an HA-focused forum group, Pink Buns. I'm also very involved in a temporary HA contest group, which is quite a lot of fun... It's a circus-based group about CW's. :)

5. Tell us a bit about you! (This doesn't have to be lengthy or detailed you can save that for your introduction in the cult! Think of this as an ice breaker question. ) I'm a 20-something American who has permanently relocated to Switzerland, to be with my Swiss-Brit hubby. I'm a language teacher and translator, and mum to two soft, fluffy kittens (D'Artagnan and Esmeralda). I love books, records, art, and fluffy things, and yes, I do actually love my job. When I'm bored, I often search for grammar activities and worksheets purely for the fun of it. :O However, I'm also patient with language mistakes, so don't worry about me being a jerk if anyone uses imperfect grammar! (Though if you want corrections, I'll give them. But you have to ask. :O)

Update with pets: I made: Mexican, Latina, Trilogy, Lotto, Cheesy, Gmail and Sociology last night! I'll probably be pounding Carisma, Remedies, and Vindicating soon because I don't have the room to make more, unfortunately. Grrr... Gotta save for more pet slots.

It has definitely changed quite a bit, but still has the same vibe to it, so for that I'm thankful. I enjoy changes, at times, but only when it's needed and the wardrobe definitely needed it lol. Yeaaaah, it's cold, but I have enjoyed it snowing a few more times than I used to have in Tennessee. I love it, but just afar lol.

sorry you are so sick. I find that the non-mobile version of subeta works on my kindle tablet when mobile. Just go to the bottom of the page and it says something like website view or version.

I have always disliked my real name for some reason, so those two names feel friendlier to me in a way (Is that weird? That's probably weird lol). When I first joined Subeta way back when, I was called ~Sweetie, and then changed it to something else that I have forgotten, and ultimately landed with Amor - which I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc.) My interests here on Subeta range from making neat looking human avatars, doing the quests daily, trying to save enough sP for pet slots (failing, but trying!), chatting in the forums and recently my pets - as I found a lot of good named to be inactive, so a lot of my prior pets have since gone to the pound. I'm hoping to work on profiles and getting them all spiffy looking.

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the cult? As of recently, the last week or so, I have been playing daily, and so-much-so, that it has become a very frequent interaction during my moring coffee, waking up, and even more-so during the night. I really enjoy Subeta, and at times it feels like it consumes my freetime, but I enjoy it, therefore I plan to stick around and hopefully meet some wonderful people here. I haven't been active for probably a year, life went sour and I had to refocus on what needed to be done, while working on myself... Let me tell you, emotional eating is AWFUL.

I like interacting with awesome people, and I have been within the Kindred Spirits group for the last day or so and feel like you guys are wonderful, so I'd love to have some more interactions within the cult. I am currently also in the Bathhouse Pools group as well for friendly reminders on collecting daily. Since being back it has been helpful and I have collected for 6 days.

5. Tell us a bit about you! I'm soon-to-be 28 on February 8th. I'm a psychology major - sociology minor and I plan to get my MA in mental health counseling soon. I'd like to work with foster children. I have been a member here for a little over 8 years. I haven't been active for quite awhile because I have been going through a lot mentally, medically, and emotionally to be able to sit and focus. I was diagnosed as a diabetic at the beginning of '15, my late husband passed at the end of '15, I moved from Tennessee to Washington in '16, and I'm in the process of getting gastric bypass hopefully in '17... So, things have calmed down, and here I am! Tis a pleasure to be here!

I'm finding 90% of the time I'm offline for slot pings and when I'm online, as nek commented to me in irc about her as well, I don't like what the items are. There have been a lot of HA contests using all items and I have seen so many CWs that I didn't even know existed that I would have liked to maybe bought, given the chance. I completely understand about the bathhouse, and I'm only on day 6 lol. I'm excited to see how far I can make it. :)

Any kind of computer shopping can be totally overwhelming x) I've had about 6 different laptops open in tabs at the same time just trying to compare them, lol. I might have narrowed it down, but the budget will tell me for sure xD
