i am glad i am getting a new one but they are taking there time. And the info i get i have to dragg it out of them.
Ooh thanks. I just love green.
I was away for a few weeks for my fiance's b-day.
Our house is nearly done and I might be moving in next month =D
all companies are afraid they'll get sued so I guess that's why they drag it out.
glad to see you back. hope you had a great time.

Woo people moving! Hope it isn't roasting hot when you do, but I imagine that it's going to be far easier than the last time I moved w/ 2 kids - 4 flights of stairs and 3 people's stuff. Nothing like it! rolls eyes I've moved alot both with my family and on my own and I honestly hate it like no other. Yeah it's great when you have this nice new area you can claim as your own, but the whole process just bites elephant nads. >.<
Glad the couch drama worked out. lol And actually, most companies will try to find every loophole they can to get out of s/thing. That's why there's "fine print".
Has everything been resolved with classes? I hope it wasn't too much of a problem, although I can't see why it would be but I also know how some of those online places will try to lock you in (reading reviews, I've seen this).
Sorry but I'm geographically incompetent at times - is Austria on the same seasonal schedule as the states? What do you have planned to do during your summer vaca?
You dealing w/ the end of year crap for school? My daughters' been a complete stressball and she's only in HS (senior). She just had her prom this past Saturday, so that will be another pic or 2 I have to upload and show on our group thread. Her job has gotten busy too w/ March Madness stupidity goiing on so her trying to balance the school/work/life thing has been interesting if not aggravating to witness. (she doesn't listen when I tell her what she needs to do to manager her time more efficiently) I don't hound on her and she's been incredibly responsible, so it's really aggravating when she takes her lack of sleep or stress out on me.
Drac -ok this is bugging me and I didn't think to ask until now, but, when using anything other than 's - which should mean xxx IS - how do you know when to put the apostrophe after the "s" or not use it at all. (Sure I could look this up but I think it would be easier described from you :P )

- Nope! Nothing too hectic in terms of school work for me! :D We did get a puppy though (he's 6 months old)! Or rather, we found him. He was trying to chase down my car a week ago. He went for an official check-up today, and is healthy as a horse! (we were waiting while we tried to see if an owner was looking for him) I'll post pictures in the picture thread! I've just been busy with puppy duty and doing commissions really. hugs
well we are not so into sue a company here but i want my right and i want my stuff. They are now saying new couch within a few days.. Sadly for them i saved all email, pics and notes. Let's hope the couch will be here soon.
That's the perfect thing to do, keep records of everything! That goes a very long way to make things right... in most cases. :)
Oh yeah, I remember the adopted one. Thought I had mentioned it but up until this past week, I was really per-occuppied w/ finishing some project stuff at work and then just sitting around in my own head.
Just do me a favor and don't become one of those dog owners that thinks the dog should have human rights! Not only is it not good for them, but it will really put pressure on everyone else, including yourself when trying to train him. (Not joking or exaggerating... )
So glad I'm undecided about my profile, so as not to bother you when you're making commish. :P I'm also glad you're not in a hectic schedule right now. How have your migraines been?

- We just got him a week ago, so we haven't had him long. I'm not sure what you mean buy thinking he has human rights? The only thing we really want him trained to do is sit, walk kinda near us on walks, and not jump up on us (and that's only because when the grandparents visit, we don't want his fully grown self to be jumping on them). We're currently in the process of trying to alpha him, because he's just a hyper hyper pup right now. If/when you want a profile, I'll add you into the queue (if there is one at the time) and I'll just complete it when I get to your name! :D I'm only behind because I got lazy really.. but I'm back on track now. I haven't been getting migraines right now, so that's a good thing. :D Getting small headaches occasionally, but they usually go away fairly quick without treating them.
Ohh really glad to hear about the migraines!
I do have to mildly apologize for saying s/thing not everyone reads, but I've seen a very large growing trend of dog owners demanding rights for their dogs (only) to do this, that or the other. There are owners that try to use a defense of "it has human emotions, too" after their dog has done s/thing either really stupid, or really bad.
I've recently been following a thread of some guy that's been trying to reach out for help at his job b/c he loves it, but they recently made it "dog friendly" and while that may seem harmless, his boss has one of those obnoxious little dogs that barks and bites any and everywhere. The reason I followed the story was b/c you don't see a lot of people who say they love their job. What made me stay w/ it was similarities between what he was experiencing and what my daughters experienced at our former place, which was a condo. Unfortunately, there was a very mean old woman that lived in the same building who was actually head of that condo association, and her attitude was reflected in her dog. This dog would lunge, bite and bark at my girls until they got the picture that he wasn't an animal that was trustworthy, even as a dog, and she would do absolutely nothing to correct him. Even when they learned to stay away from him, we would pass each other every now and then either coming in or going out and she didn't try to shorten his leash and I swear I thought I would be kicked out or had charges pressed on me by defending my kids in the times it was too close for comfort.
Oh and I work fervently on my daughter's dog to get him not to use his paws when he jumps up. (I'll show it sometime in a vid or pic) b/c his nails are black as hell and hard to trim for everyone, and they grow long, and my dad is on meds that makes him bleed very easily so when the dog gets excited to see him and jumps up on him, he usually leaves long scratch marks (that doesn't happen on anyone else) that bleed like crazy.

It's Florida. If it isn't hot and humid I get worriedXD
I did :)
Watched the Season Premiere of Westworld with my fiance =D
lol yes it does. Let's hope it's also in my case.
Yay for the apartment finally!
Congrats on the house!
Yeah, the one counselor never got back to me, but the other did. He said he completely understood and didn't try anything. He did ask if I wanted tutoring, and I told him it had nothing to do with academics, just the presentation of the class. I'm already out of the class.
Oooooo...grammar question!! The apostrophe after the s is there to show possession. s' would be used if the name ends in an s (James' game console broke yesterday) or you are using plural words to show more than one owns something (the doctors' office is over there). Some places say it is ok to use 's after a name that ends in s (James's) but I always default to dropping that last s because I think it sounds funny to pronounce the double s xP Other than that, 's could mean possession by a singular noun, or like you said, be a contraction of something IS.
I hope your couch shows up soon :( That whole thing sounds like a mess.
Ok..so...Arizona and the whole Red for Ed movement...The school was closed Thursday and Friday with the walkouts so I just took some time off because I hoard my hours. Well, now Monday is closed, too! I can't decide if I am frustrated or happy for an extended weekend. They are already making the next couple of Wednesdays regular schedule because the school year has to be a certain length. Which I have no idea what that does to the meeting we are supposed to have next week on Wednesday. If the walkouts go past Monday...they want to force people to show up on SATURDAY for school. The state needs to get is rear in gear and make the budget already.

That was an awesome explanation!
Now... Red for Ed? What did I miss? That's a lot of missed school!

Morning :) read some back posts and glad to see most of you are in a good mood. lol.
hubby went to pick up meds so I have a little peace and quiet at the moment. I'm still getting used to his retirement and being under foot all the time. sigh

Mornin' KSrs
Went to a farmer's market this morning. Got pickles. Yummy. Will miss them while we're in NJ.
Speaking of NJ - heading there likely Tuesday (maybe Wednesday). Will get connected to the internet the same day or the next day so I won't be mia but a day. Well, not any more mia than I've been. Will have my mom's laptop but we share it and it's way slower with less memory than my desktop which means less time on it and longer page loads for me.
Will be in NJ until at least mid June.
I'm mostly ignorant of both hardware and software. My brother has been building my computers since I first got my own. My other brother (the one in KY) bought me a desk and they both bought everything to build my first desktop with and have been doing that mostly since. I've since replaced that desk with one I bought and put together myself when I was more physically able but my computer I leave to them. I'm leaving it here so maybe my brother will take some time over the next several weeks while I'm gone to take a look at it. I just need to make sure it's all backed up on my portable HD just in case. Some day I will need to take fixing my computer on myself. Relied on them forever but my brother here gets angry sometimes now when I expect him to fix it.
Hope they get their act together and give the teachers what they need and you don't need to do too many Saturdays. Happens here in the winter often because of snow days and it's not liked by anyone. Belatedly - don't feel stupid about changing your mind about the online courses. You'd not know if you didn't try. You tried and learned the better thing for your learning is having your teachers and other students right there. Good to learn it and move on to what works best than continue to shell out money and struggle. Proud of you for taking the chance and proud of you for taking the chance again to change!
Hope you are well.
How are you doing? Did the treatment work? Have they figured out what was causing the spells? Let us know.
Glad you're getting the new sofa. Sucks that they are not being detailed on when you'll be getting it.
Yay on almost being done your lessons. Hope dad is doing well.
Glad dmy is finally getting to move. Hope it's not too much of a struggle for them.
Welcome back. Yay for the house! I know you're going to be glad to finally move!
Yeah, my mom felt the same with my dad. It was a big change having him at home all of the time. Hope you both can find some alone time.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
have a safe trip and just post when you can. no problem that I can see :)
