Yeah just made it home, been out every night and made it home earlyish tonight, but me and my gf have gone from like level 33 to level 36 in 3 or so days
- sounds like a lot of Pokemon and a lot of fun. Congratulation to both you and your girlfriend.
Thanks for the well wishes :)
that sounds crazy. Did they do anything with that Opera browser quirk? I assume he would have taken hits from the Hydra while making his moves (and died in the process) but 2 mil damage within 5 minutes or so is still crazy.
Most of these things were from 5+ years ago. I think the switch to HTML5 a few years back fixed a lot of the problems. Ocassionally I would load up Opera to see if I could do something broken with it, but haven't found anything in a long time.
Opera has a lot of features to try and make things load faster, which usually means you can send links faster, ect. A lot of the truely broken stuff you could do was fixed by them setting it up so that you can't flood the servers with multiple of the same request. Some of the problems were exploitable on any browser, Opera just exploited it the best.

You Won! You have defeated Prodigy Verdugo earned 3500 EXP Points!
BQs done. I can't wait for the day I get my MW and prodigy is no longer a concern.
Some of it really is luck (lucky blast, healing on a crit hit, getting a life saving freeze in). A lot is also strategy and trying to predict when your opponent will use what so you can use a shard at the right time or know when to use a healer. That's the nice thing about long battles - you can get a feel for what weapons your opponent is favoring and see the frequency of crit hits.
Thank you! I don't think it's possible for my T8 though. There's nothing at his tier that will block enough wind but I still have a month to keep trying.
You Won! You have defeated Surge You won a(n) Extremely Hard token to use in the battle shop! Tziety earned 900 EXP Points! Head back to the Battle Quest headquarters to finish up this quest!
I am not sure how a T8 pet would proceed, but I suppose you're using the trident, and maybe the Flayed Lord Breastplate? Featherweight Axe of Gusts is another wind blocker, but scales with speed, so unless your T8 has at least 1500, it won't be of great use (optimal at 2.5k+ Speed).
You could win a few turns with Shinwas Temple Shard & RV. If your pet has enough AP, besides Cobalt Eternals, he could use the Maelstrom, Triple Threat scrolls or the OPB scrolls of Sancturia Exodin, Shriek of Despair, The Void, or Typhoon of Valor.
Of all of the above, I'm just looking at wind blocks, though.... and you probably know of this already XD
Maybe boost him up more with BQ exp and try next week?
- how are you coming with Battle Quests today? I see you got them started at least! Hoping you do well.
- true, some of it is luck, although you still have to survive the battle long enough to be lucky! :-) And being able to predict when to use a shard or healer - that is totally skill and that is what I am not at all good at.
If you have any suggestions for fighting the Raging Storm Sylph with a T9 pet - please let me know. If you're already trying to win with Oranos, then maybe Tos does have a chance. (Although I'm probably still missing all the key components from my armory/scroll library.)

Level 26/30 It's time for you to face General Error!
Not sure how many times I've forfeited the battles because he freezes me on the 1st turn lol
- ouch! Getting frozen on the first turn is no fun at all. But you can beat him, you've done it before!
- well ... even 5 EXP per battle eventually adds up. :-) I usually try to pick a different low level opponent every day to serve as my "healer" just to give it some variety.
Tell that General to fight fair and at least give you a turn!
- well, as likes to tell me - persistence pays when battling. Wonder why GE is being so difficult today?
I had my turn! I had finally had my turn... and he chain froze me when I had him half-way there Not sure if I want to cry or laugh lol

Persistance fnally paid off :D
I don't get why they balance the stat scaling weapons the way they do. Most of them at janky budget weapons at best. If they completely removed all of the custom coding on them, and made them their best form, in the tier they would naturally fall into, they would still be balanced.
For example the extendable trident hits these stats max:
extendable trident
3000+ in Strength, Defense and Speed each:
Attack: 12-14 Ice, 12-14 Fire 12-14 Wind (36-42 icons)
Defense: 9-12 Ice, 9-12 Fire, 9-12 Wind (27-36 icons)
Other: Heals 9% (caps at 888HP)
Prodigy Staff arguably gets crappier the higher your STR goes lol. This one was Ryans fault though, and its a bit of a legacy weapon from pre tier system. I think most people would kill for a 25icon water weapon with some healing for Forj.

Smoldering slaghorn gauntlets gets tier 9-10 stats on a tier 8 weapon, if you make a HUGE deviation to build 1K more defense than HP. And tier 9 pets only have a total of 5400 stats to work with to begin with. To take advantage of them you would need to train to to something like 2100/1100/2100/100 to take advantage one 1 weapon, for 1-2 tiers max. AND it only heals a fixed 150HP through a blessing, so once you are past 1500 HP, you are giving up percentage points of healing for the trouble.

The frequently suggest Sierrac basal ice flail for 5000 SPD gets tier 9 stats, with the only beneifit of a 35/35 defense that isn't availible on any other weapon. But for 5000 speed, that could easily be like 50/50 defense with a 10% heal. It is a very easily obtained weapon so maybe it doesn't quite need new godly stats, but the payoff is nowhere near 5000 speed, and as one of the only incentives to train speed that high, it just seems odd to me. [Spoiler=Sierrac basal ice flail] <1500 Speed (Default): Attack: 18-25 ice, 7 wind (25-32 icons) Defense: 6-7 ice, 6-7 water (12-14 icons) Heals: 75 Other: 5% chance to freeze

Then you could actually make interesting decisions based around them. Right now they are obnoxious as hell to test, and most of them are not even worth figuring out exactly how they work.

- oh no! Some of both, I think. But maybe he will now stop freezing you first turn for awhile and give you a few more chances. Good luck. I'm rooting for you.
- what does it mean to be a "custom coded" weapon? Is that any weapon that scales? Or just some of them that do something special somehow?
Anything that doesn't show up on the hover over aside freezing and stealing.
Most of the time its scaling stats, but the blasters are custom coded. Blessings/Curses are kinda a grey area. Stat increasing is custom code. Item generating
