ugh I got all the research notes ones and a couple of the birds I think and then the two in there now and some random ones but I think I missed the whole line of Fairytale months and a bunch of other ones and black friday is forever away...I don't even want to think about how much I'll have to shell out to unlock them all before Black Friday.

There's only 1 in shops for 75mil atm but yeah it's just the River Mud that I'm really trying to restock. I guess I could just buy the mud but I'd need like 8 of them for 3mil each so I want to try to restock a few first. I'd still want a bit more AP before I can really fit it in easily so I don't mind waiting.

I'm hoping it won't be another 2 years before I can actually try and fight my Baenwurath and Sophie :c but I know I'm still a long time off. I'm definitely going to be saving my stat boosters as long as possible though. I don't want to spend them as long as I still have other stuff I can do to get XP or I know I'll be able to fight my next opponent soon. Hopefully I can stave off my boosters until like T10 at least.

Welp I won't be beating level 17 today. I tried for about an hour to beat the Hustler and couldn't do it. Skipped and got the Hustler again. Skipped again killed Slavam and then got the Hustler right after. q-q

I have 33k battle xp though so I'm 100% sure I'll still hit 50 stats, but not as easily as I was hoping. I might have hit it from BQs if I could have killed level 20 today.

Again, it all depends on how much you are willing to invest in boosters to boost your pet to higher tiers. Battle experience alone is not enough to get 6000+ stats quickly. sophie is a lot easier than baenwurath. I haven't even taken on the castle yet. High T12 if not T13 is recommended for him. Congrats on all that experience!

Okay battlers - I know you're all about to be here to do battle quests. Looking for opinions on whether I should be trying to snag an Aemis at the Token Shop (if I manage to be around when they restock after my wait). I own a Shinigami if that makes a difference (got lucky one day at BHH). Is it worth buying? (I do have the wizard tokens.)

I think I can hold off on those boosters for a long while. I like getting stats, I also like hoarding things. And if the boosters become too addictive I'll just move my art purchases and my CS battle opponent purchases into the USD zone instead of the CSC zone. Hopefully we won't come to that though.

I would have rather dealt with my Soothing Currents forever than spend 75mil buying it...

I'll see when I get there. As long as I'm able to fight new challengers and hit new goals in a reasonable time frame I won't feel the need to use boosters. Once I get to the point where I'm spending weeks and not able to take on the next opponent or hit the next tier on any of my pets I'll probably look into boosters to speed things up. I think at this point though I hit T6 yesterday and got 62 worth of STR/DEF today. I think I'm really on the verge of a lot of the Very Hard opponents atm and between challenger and AP goals I should be able to tide myself over to T8 before I even think about things feeling slow. I know I can't just quickly stat up 6k points without boosters, but it's not as much about quickly statting to me as quickly approaching new challenges and goals so that I don't have to train a month between each opponent I try and face.

As for Baenwurath he was hard for fully capped pets when he came out and I think depending on how you were statted a few of the veterans were saying you really couldn't beat him so I'm not surprised he's more T13 territory.

LOL no don't buy it unless you plan to sell it for sP. The price right now for them is insane. It is not worth it as a weapon, even if you use it to make a combo legendary. Combo legendaries are powerful for their tier, but you don't really use them past tier 8 because there are better options out there in terms of defense and healing. In general, if you have the funds to make combo legendaries and multiple pets going into T7 then do it, otherwise don't worry about it.

It's definitely better than soothing currents, but yeah prices for some things are insane right now. I have a triple threat scroll, which is good if you don't have wind, fire and ice blockers, but it is priced very high right now for whatever reason.

Definitely ok to pace yourself. I would maybe buy boosters here and there and just save them. This way when an event challenger or limited time release challenger comes out, you can boost your pet if you need more stats to get wins. I started saving all my boosters once my pet hit T12 and plan to use them once he gets to T13 when experience for stats doubles in price.

Some builds just have an easier time with opponents than others. I'll see once I am on the higher end of T12 if I stand a chance against him.

I feel like a lot of things are priced really high right now in general. At least when it comes to battle related stuff everything I look up always feels pretty inflated. Especially when you can outright buy the pieces for things a lot cheaper than the actual item. Not just that scroll either. It was the same making my Forj shield/weapon too.

Yeah but then I have to start making a list of prices for every stat to figure out what to buy them at :c I'll probably buy a few so that my vault doesn't look so empty but I hope I'll just have enough stocked from Shinwas + Quentin before the next event that needs them.

I'm sure I'll end up screwing myself over build wise with 2 out of 3 of my battle pets...at least. But he looked like a really fun opponent when everyone was talking about his castle waves so I've always wanted to fight him.

I am too lazy for that and just try to buy stuff discounted off shop search lol Best bet is to buy stuff like amulets and tomes, those prices stay pretty consistent. Even some shinwa items go for decent prices.

The really is no way to screw up a build. Some builds just take longer to beat certain challengers than other builds. There are also the leeches in the battle shop so if you want to take away some stats in order to put more in another stat for a final build, you can do that too. I plan to have Verdugo at a pretty efficient build in terms of stat ratios and when he can take on tougher opponents. My second pet I'm experimenting with health, one of my fan pets I am going to build with high strength and speed and the others I don't really have any plans for yet.

I bought a few Shinwas items that I got for pretty cheap after posting that. Or at least I considered it pretty cheap, comparatively anyway. I'm wondering if 330k is normal amulet price or if they dropped bc of Weekend Quests. I might buy some if they dropped but if I do by amulets I'm going to save them to see if they fix the tome ratio now that tomes are readable.

And I guess not technically but I'm sure if you build your stats poorly enough there is. My goal is for Painkillers to have STR/SPD based build with very little DEF and low HP. Medicating to have High DEF/HP and idk what I'm doing with Incision but I know she'll probably have as close to no SPD as I can get her to. I just feel like Painkillers is going to come across opponents he can't beat if he doesn't have enough defensive stats >_<

Thank you! I've seen amulets sell anywhere from 250k - 400k depending on the market and when a challenger comes out that drops amulets.

I mean...you would have to really screw yourself up, like make your final strength 100 or something =/ The cap right now is 35k total stats and that's a lot of stats to play around with. If one stat is low, you can always compensate by making something else higher. Usually that stat to make higher is health, simply because you will heal for more HP per turn and withstand crit hits.

: I agree with what Wesker said. The general advice is legendaries and legendary combos are obsolete in higher tiers, so buy it only if you plan to resell it. It is not a good weapon itself due to a lack of heal. I don't recall using it often when my pet was around T5-8.

You're welcome! I cannot believe the hype over it. The news comments are hilarious. I sold the one I bought because I forgot I needed it to make heavens knuckles for my pet's TC. LOL oh well, not worth the 90+mil price tag. I remember I had one way back around the time I started and sold it for 20 mil and even that price was hard to sell it at.
