It was mentioned briefly the other day, we were talking about how the Swashbuckle is at a pretty low price right now, so it would be worth it to save for one before they go back up again. I recently had to restart Item Hunt because Chase decided to ask me for a retired cash shop item that was priced at nearly 40 mil in user shops for level 91. That's almost half the cost to buy a Swashbuckle right now, and that was just for one quest. I still would have had to do 9 more that likely would have been similarly expensive items. That's just not worth it to me.

Maybe I will eventually complete it for the achievements, but like others have mentioned too the sP from doing quests every day can be pretty nice.

Sorry I lied 😂 it was actually about 9-10 pages back. Page 217, I think, starting from 's post. The conversation was kind of mixed between Item Hunt and why some of us have many battle pets so it's kind of hard to find. I actually missed it too when I went back to look for it XD.

No you're not a bad pet owner! I've got like 10+ pets waiting in line to battle but I'm too lazy to move my finger. Every time the reset is brought up in conversations I rush to the BC and battle a few times with some of them, then get bored and forget about it until the next time someone mentions the reset. At this rate my pets will have to eat all the eggs they earn...

Someday you'll give Crawbeast the run for the money ^^ I still remember when, for six out of seven days, Crawbeast would show up and eat my free skips and I couldn't get past level 26-27. It was really frustrating, but then there were weeks where I hardly saw him and had all GEs and Flamagias until Level 29 :D Let's hope for the better to happen!

I too, bought my Swash... I usually get something impossible to buy at Level 70+. XD

Next year I'll suddenly notice pet is like tier 9 and wonder when and how that happened. I'll have also not noticed the reset and wonder why I'm getting booster eggs again.

Battle Quests - late but done. Finished Level 21 - Terrafirma and Cursed Effigy, the Tormented (no Gate Keeper - guess he is hiding now that I think I have a strategy to use against him :-) )

- not a bad pet owner, we all have our own ways of doing things. I was just curious as to what people do with extra eggs. Vesnali is coming up - a shame I can't just put them all into little baskets and store them away somewhere. :-)

From the general discussion here, it sounds like I should go back to playing Item Hunt and not worry about saving my place to complete it.

Yeah, I've never tried to save my place in Item Hunt to try and complete it later. You'd be better off doing them every day until he asks you for a ridiculous item that costs way more than he would give you for it, then just quit and start over. You can make some decent sP until around level 70-80, that tends to be when he starts asking for more expensive things.

Loving that we now have the AP number listed with our pet's stats. Very helpful!

I spent no more than 20 mil in total to complete the item hunt, but that was when the IH was asking for common items. Literally my level 100 asked me for an item worth 3k sP. I got my swashbuckle through the IH but it is probably cheaper to just buy it from user shops than try to complete IH now.

Usually his rewards go up like 2-3k at a time, but sometimes it will make a jump like every 5 or 10 levels. By level 70-90 he'll be giving you like 200-400k or so. Definitely not enough to cover the cost of any cash shop items he may ask you for in the higher levels.

I think you got that backwards??? I still need 97 more impossible tokens to make a mecha (and two more tiers before I can use it) :-) (I have 3 impossible tokens from the first version of The Troll). Currently working on trying to make the helmet - only 61 more extremely hard tokens until I can buy the Intricate Components. The good news is the helmet is T9, so once I can make it, Tos can actually use it. :-)

Battle Quests done for today. Completed Level 22 - a good day - Terrafirma, The Gate Keeper and Cursed Effigy, the Tormented.

Waaay too tired to try to keep any exact notes, but the double attack strategy did not seem to be working against The Gate Keeper (so maybe I just got very lucky last time). In any event, he wasn't tooo frustrating this time and he did not show up for a repeat so that's it for now..

I'm wondering what the official exchange rate is - I vaguely remember seeing something about a recent change (or a considered change?). Guessing it would be impossible to just sell all your amulets and buy tomes. (Who would buy them in that quantity?)
