Did you get the achievement? It awards a medal in your inventory to unlock the next opponent.

I thought beating enough would auto unlock, feel a bit silly, was too excited to beat challenger didn't even look in the inventory. pillow and blankets, hide in a fort yep yep embarassed

thanks, I found out to my horror 2nd level I just can't do it sniffles Poukie got her behind pulverized and I have no idea how she can beat it once let alone 5 times to get prizes. The increase should have been more moderate like easy, medium, hard... Poukie gets to lvl 10 quests and I thought she would be ok for at least 2 monsters sigh zapper changed her so she looks like she's freaked out running lol poor precious poukie

I'm sorry to hear that :( But her stats are really good for only being two months old! Keep training her and doing your Battle Quests every day and you'll go even further the next time we have event challengers :D

I can defeat the third one and be left with full HP (mind you that's using high defence, low attack).

I was wondering, in the news it mentions each time the monster evolves it's 1 additional head but we start with 1 & 25 stats then it jumps to 3 & 750 stats. Is this on purpose or is there a 2nd phase missing... like medium level?

just the base stats. haven't tested it yet.

thanks, I've been training Poukie on a daily basis and doing quests no auto training so it's all me. She's doing her best but it's tough being young. She'll be better next round :)

The phases have 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8 heads, respectively.

Very nice :D Event challengers and their prizes are definitely a great way to motivate you to keep up training/BQs on days you don't feel like doing them. They motivated me to work really hard to get Crimsyn up to snuff.

1, 3, and then you'll unlock the next two until you get to the 8!

I reread and might have misread. I was under the impression it's one added at a time and lvls would be similar to easy, medium, etc similar to regular battles but it's my first time with this type of battle challenge, I'll learn for next time & Poukie needs to get much much tougher poor little gal. Oh! We wanted to hit the entire range of tiers with these challengers so everyone had at least one they could do.

(Believe me, I understand. I need to train my pet up more because I could only get the first two done haha)

Ugh. Is there a T8 or less weapon that will help me defend against the 7 heads? The added earth is what's killing me (using Chancellor's War Shield, Reborn Ice wand, and Triple Threat Scroll). I just want to get to the 5 wins haha.

Just a friendly suggestion for next time, maybe add an in-between phase like battle quests. Poukie manages to go all the way up to lvl 10 but going from 25 to 750 is a huge leap. Maybe a 300 or 400 stage before going to the hard levels so the younger pets can feel they can play a little before going home with their tails between their legs. ;)
