Adding to the errors are horrible this morning group. Started happening when I went to the bathhouse and I can only assume I got what I was supposed to because I didn't get to see what it was.

Sure hope this is gone by the time toting starts mid october

This is really frustrating. :( Getting anything from the Freyalise is so hard. I love Keel Hauliday, it's one of my favorite haulidays but it's so hard to get anything.

This is also infuriating as a returning player after a long absence. It's quite depressing that I can leave for a year or two at a time (periodically through my almost 10 years of playing), then come back to subeta still being plagued by exactly the same issues as before -- but with less of the features I loved in the past (categories in shops, "you have this item!" in WL, etc). I love Subeta and keep coming back to it eventually, but I've strayed away from referring anyone to this site even if I'm fairly certain they will enjoy it. Being a newer player in this kind of environment would really detract from the experience, and I don't imagine that anyone would stay even if I did refer them. I certainly wouldn't stay if I was new.

This probably doesn't help make anyone feel better, but one interesting thing I've noticed is that it doesn't necessarily 502 or 504 everyone at the same time. So even if YOU don't have a white page or a 502 or a 504 at this very moment, it doesn't mean that someone else doesn't have one... How do I know this? My wife was restocking on her laptop next to me last night. Both of us were refreshing in Freyalise. I got 502s and continued refreshing, hoping to get out of them before the next restock. No such luck. She calls out "it's restocked!" and I complain about the 502s, and then I realize: how would she know if it's restocked now unless she doesn't have 502s? I ask about it, and she claims she doesn't have them at all and can restock as normal. I continue refreshing - still 502s. She got 2-3 items that restock with no 502s, while I didn't even see the restock because of constant 502s. Hmmmmm. How can this happen in the same house, sitting across from each other on the same couch using the same wifi and same browser?

Couldn't even move from Page 1 to Page 2 of this thread without getting another 502 Error! This has been almost constant today. Please, oh please, sort it out :(

I'm saying sigh I'm a Firefox user and I will not give up my Firefox just to play on the site, so PLEASE fix the bug that is making the Error 502 and Error 504 it would be lovely to play on here without having to worry of all the Errors that mess up my questing :( If you have to shut down the site for a few hours to find the bug and fix it then do it.

I'm using Google Chrome, and still having a ton of error pages. It doesn't have anything to do with the browser you are using, as far as I know.

The Team said a few days ago that it was a bug on their end messing up the Chrome and Firefox users on the site.

And the Zapper is still messing up on the Alert sigh

I'm just repeating what the Team said in the News shrugs Sorry you're also having the problem but I don't need to be pinged just to read I'm wrong lol Ask the Team why they posted the two browsers on the News if all browsers have the bug on Subeta's end :D

Since this is still an issue and you obviously were completely wrong with your assumption back then (proven by the fact it never got cured from start on), can we have our old shops back to working, please? I noticed only fairly recently, that even I myself cannot "view" my old gallery any more. I want to actually see the things displayed there, which were put there to look at the pretties I own.

Can I just say?

Thank you, staff, for keeping the website up during all of this. MongoDB is being difficult, right? It must be painstaking to migrate the different modules of the site back to MySQL in order to phase it out, and I much prefer having the site up with some gateway timeouts than having the site down altogether.

Getting the errors on the browser end is frustrating, but I imagine it's 100 times more frustrating on your end. Especially if you had professional help looking into it and still didn't have a concrete solution.

A million thanks for keeping subeta going! :) It's been over nine years, and you guys still make it a great place to be.

We continue to work on them. We&;ve been making improvements over the past few weeks, and update the status site as we make those changes.

So, staff has done NOTHING to improve game play/deal with lag and errors since 9-22-16?! A full week?!?!?!

9/22 was the last time an entire module (that we know of) was migrated back to MySQL. Other things are being worked on in the meantime, professional help was called in to investigate, and the programmers aren't just twiddling their thumbs. Those updates look like progress marks as they discern an area causing the issues (thanks, MongoDB) and resolve it. But the site isn't just a couple of pages, so this project isn't a quick one.

Even if all they've done is monitor the site since re-establishing the friend feed, a week is still a good time frame. I'd rather some errors than outright down time, wouldn't you?

Where on the Status Page (which is where we are being directed to look) does it say that?

Neither errors nor downtime are really acceptable to me at this point, because of the extremely poor communication.
