My bet is on Shinwa or the Oracle sending the letters, they're worried about the state of Subeta and want to contain any potential damage but rallying the most powerful people in the population, the users.
If I have claimed a Dance from you and do not immediately Dance I will get back to you.

[/font]Muerte is now my second favorite NPC after Honesty Jar and they're not canon yet, so imagine when they are.
That would be actually really interesting for Big K to prove that he can actually succeed at something without anyone helping him. That would give him the confidence boost he deserves.
Yeah I think he's gonna die. The strong emotional setup where we see how loyal he is and sacrifices himself for his brother is setting it up for a harsh impact when he dies.
Also, I can't see staff keeping him as a character when we've just pretty much learned that his trademark style of speaking was all fake. There's not much viability in it, especially since he would need to now show both sides of his character. Or maybe he'll go back to school and we'll have doctor Maltlal (I'm 100% for this). Pretty sure he's going to die though. He's one of my faves too. Saaadddd.
Let's petition for this to happen. Point of NPC ? To randomly pop up with something snarky, occasionally tossing someone to their death when they've "crossed a line" (literally any reason).
I don't sign.
For me it's the same to throw a random user into the volcano you don't know already and it may could become a good friend in the future.
A character dies because his/her character isn't developed yes. Meh... Not a good reason.
I get the feeling Matlal and Kahaleitzli are the lead role players. And we and the rest of the NPC characters are just side players.
It's all about the two brothers.
I'm for that. If I try to understand the current facts they are the most interesting characters at this moment.
I know the "definition" lol. :3 I just never really hear someone use omen to refer to something good irl. xD
If Saggitarius can be still a quest giver at Centropolis I have got right, what about his disguised nurslings he has send to Bad Omen.
Yeah I probably would have said the same thing, it's not common to hear a good omen at all :p once in awhile maybe
Slightly off topic for a second, I finally found what this plot reminds me of: A 2008 song that goes by Mzungu Click here to see what I mean
Given the new items that are in the Directory, we already know the next beastie is going to be some form of a Coatl. Cozcoatl Feather Adornment, Cozcoatl Scroll, and Serpentwine lead some of us in the SB to think it's going to be a giant Serpenth that resembles Quetzalcoatl (and has Kuzco's attitude due to the name puns).
Kahaleitzli
Steel
Maybe... they got stuck on a puzzle and we're doing the legwork so they can benefit. Isn't this basically exactly what Blake and Saggi already do to us? How can they not see this? :P

I believe Saggitarius is disguised or somebody else is disguised as him.
Why is he just in Centropolis, when I do his quests?
I think this is not for nothing. But the Saggitarius (or who he is) on Omen Island could be the antagonist of the whole plot.
I hope he just a scared man who is too much demesticated in civilized world, but it could be also he is a buracratic devil.
Or he is a viktum on someway.
Haha, that makes sense! Staff should have had his quests not be available for the duration of the plot. Doesn't make sense if he's on the adventure AND giving out quests!
I'm not sure, but maybe there becomes more clear about this.
It could be also he comes with excuses for security, because he hates the idea some users protect him, because they risk their lives for him. He seems pretty nervous. (Or he has got an other reason we don't know).
At this moment his arguments about security's and so on and other behavior which is more formal than brag, is very interesting.
In the beginning I had difficulty with this part of the dialogue:
It’s a movie. You know what, nevermind, I will just explain. Okay, so in the movie, there is a villain. The villain needs to get into a magical cave, but only certain people are able to enter the cave, and even then, only certain people are allowed to touch certain treasures. The villain has to find a gullible dummy that is pure of heart to enter the cave for him.
Matlal
Steel
Elwood Shrugs.
Saggi Conspicuously avoids eye contact.
I'm still afraid he's a crook and that would be piteous.
But I've think about it. Maybe his avoidance to make eye contact, has nothing to do with the entire conversation between Elwood and Matlal.
It could be he avoids eye contact with humans because he is actually an other creature, an other specie who has only a human body and who can talk as a human, but we know nothing about the creature he actually is. It could be he doesn't understand the natural human behaviors and unspoken signs, like humans don't understand the signs of many interesting, sensitive and intelligent animals. And we don't also understand him.
That could be possible anyway.
Saggitarius
I honestly Hope Shinwa steps up and deals with the problem she created on Omen Island, feel free to see my long winded view on the matter over here, https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/861702

[tot=Twisted_Pretzel]The eye contact thing is meant to imply that he does think that Blake is a gullible idiot, but there definitely COULD be hidden motivation behind it!
The waivers quote tells us that the users on Team Gold signed a paper that essentially said that if we die or get hurt, then Saggitarius is not at fault. Meaning we can't sue him if we get hurt while working for him. It doesn't say whether or not HE has signed a waiver with someone else, so there is a possibility of it.
With the eye contact I hope it's an innocent thinking Blake is an gullible idiot. If he has got a hidden motivation behind hmm... yes it could be indeed...
When he talked about the SOHA Subeta (Occupational Hazard Administration) seems fine. Maybe he is actually only there just to keep an eye on Steel. It sounds he has got more feeling for responsibility than Steel. More an older and wiser man. He is at least completely different than Steel. :)
So... bhakorus. Doesn't look like we'll be getting a new species out of this plot. New color perhaps? Either a saheric colorfill or this:

I noticed that too. Maybe whoever sent the letters wanted us to discover a connection between the ancient civilization from the Sacred Lands and this one?
I'm not sure, but it's interesting.
I just realized the crystal in the back of the treasure room is already activated. For the Saheric plot, it looks like the crystal wasn't always active:
compare to this new treasure room that already has floating crystals in the background.
