since when are omens good anyway?
;)
I enjoyed the film The Omen, I'd say it was good.
Well maybe nobody will die. In any case NOT Saggitarius! He deserves to get more character-development now and also in the future.
plot twist everyone dies, the island disappears, pirates find new place to dock
I honestly feel that Saggitarius, who has been implied to have gotten his position by bribery, and is overall haughty to the point of being out of touch with the population, might find redemption for his greed by death, yeah.
It would be as shocking as Amy - we thought that his quests and his position as important character would give him plot armor. Especially if the best on top of the mountain is draconic in nature.
High Priest with the name I do not remember could also die, but that...wouldn't change much, really. I'm going to call him Big K from now on, yes.
Big K is not a NPC you'll encounter on a regular basis, and is overshadowed by Matlal. Speaking of Matlal, he could also die. He said a lot of things and got a lot of time in the limelight yesterday...that does not bode well. We know the truth, now.
So, my theory is that Matlal or Saggi will bite it. Blake is most likely safe. His motivations are not as greedy as I expected, and while he could die via heroics, I don't think his story will end there. He just got a revamp, too ;) Out of the main four, I think he is the one with the highest survival chances.
Big K is also unlikely. Having him die to balance out Amy's sacrifice is a little heavy-handed. I'd find that lame to have him sacrifice himself to echo the original king's sacrifice too.
Everyone else, Esther, Sephora and Wesley, are fine.
plot twist - Subeta explodes. Atebus nuked by debris. We have to start over again.
plot twist: only survivors are Cinthia and SAI Jack Cardale
I'm most curious about why someone is sending Blake these maps. Looking at this plot alone, you could say they wanted him to help the islanders because clearly they're in trouble. But they also sent him the clues about the Sacred Lands, and I don't remember him helping anyone there. We defeated some monsters, but we released them in the first place. They wouldn't have been a problem if we hadn't uncovered the temple.
I'm kind of wondering if maybe there was more to the Saheric temple and we overlooked something while we were there. Maybe we'll discover something at the Tomb of the First King that makes us revisit the Saheric temple with new eyes.
Someone on our team brought up the old God Nukum, and suggested that he could be linked to the island's volcano somehow. What if this mysterious stranger was trying to awaken the old gods? Maybe we were supposed to awaken Porin or some other god last time and we'll have to go back eventually.

Allright somebody will die. Maybe somebody we don't expect? I think at least if Saggitarius die that's too predictable, but that is my opinion. He could have got so much deeper layers behind his ego.
Is it also possible not a MPC character will die, but a user?
Don't take me too seriously here if I don't have my admin posts on, I'm just enjoying the speculation you guys are bringing to the table. I won't be sharing any secrets, though ;) I'm looking forward to how everything plays out though. brings up some good points about the map. BLAKE IS SO TRUSTING just going on adventures with maps given to him by strangers
I was thinking those were reasons why K man would die. Yesterday's reveal told us that he flunked out of school, couldn't make it up the mountain without help, and has been supported by his brother throughout his entire leadership. He seems to be aware of his failures and feels guilty about everything. The obvious story choice would be for him to sacrifice himself to save the island, thereby redeeming himself and proving he's a true king. Of course then you'd need a replacement, so maybe Tina Cohen-Chang Matlal drops the fake stutter crazy and takes over as king?
Whether he dies of not, I think K is going to find redemption by the end of this plot.
[edit]
Though I guess Matlal could die instead, and prove through his selflessness that he was the true~ king all along. I don't know where that would leave K though.

Elwood could have given him the maps and could be going ahead of them? I'm just guessing from the revamp he's got some sort of point to this plot as well....
I don't think anybody is going to die but I think we will definitely be getting to see a spiritual side of Subeta, which I don't remember ever happening in plots. I think the islander bros are gonna get Subetapedia logs after this with all the current information. I'm thinking the two teams are gonna merge at some point too.
That's my strong and also at the same time my weak nature. I'll take everything so seriously.
But you have right to don't give spoilers. That will only ruin the mystery of the fun. I understand.
It's indeed possible Elwood has given the maps.
I'm entirely for a merge between both teams. That would be really cool! I hope so Saggi and Steel would also co-operate together.
Steel fight with us towards Merana and Saggitarius will nurse the injured team members from Team Gold and also from Team Steel. I believe he can better nurse injured people than Blake Steel.
does the name Khalazilazi (whatever his name) was inspired by Khaleesi? it's very similar.. :P
anyway, I know you can't tell us secrets, but can you tell any fun fact about the characters or the islands? like what were the original plans that were scrapped or anything else.. :D
Matlal got a recent revamp too but I'm not sure art saves either of them. If staff decided to kill one of them and bring them back, it would be a pretty easy thing to add or adjust a few layers to make them look undead. An undead Blake wouldn't be out of place in the Crypts.
I am a big troll, .
I'm sure he'd love haunting the Crypts if he died, !
What if Saggi does happen to die, and his testament mentions a payment for Merana to leave the islands the fuck alone forever, while the rest of his fortune goes to Mattieu, who he reveals to have had an affair with long ago?
Then we get another plot where Mattieu grabs that deep blue brooch of his and says "it's been 84 years..."

I bet a dragon eats him.
