i keep submitting 512 but it's not processing it as correct. going to tear my hair out, i hate numbers...

Do you mean that you have a 512 tile or that the numbers add up to 512?

Because you need to have a single tile that says 512 on it (or more, if you can get higher). Not a bunch of tiles that add up to that amount.

After 6 hours last night and almost 2 hours this morning, I finally figured out this last puzzle. You have to match up the numbers and make sure all of them added together become a scroll. Then you have to play the game until there are no moves. Check puzzle, and voila', you win

My strategy after many fails was to keep the numbered tiles on the last row, never using the up arrow which creates a row under the numbered tiles and makes it harder to control and match them to same tiles.

Anyone know what timezone 'Subeta time' corresponds with? Trying to figure out when I'll be able to fight the boss.

This puzzle just isn't happening for me. Spent a few hours doing the sequence and no tile ever says 512 and nothing lined up together equals it. Can we still move on to the next door if we don't have the stupid key?

Nice job there! I've been trying for a little while to see if I can get it, I can get the 512 tile now and someitmes another 256, but I end up not being able to get past that point or combine the large tiles again, cuz I get stuck. lol. I get like, lost in the movements as there are so many tiles to pay attention to and then I lose. lol. Ah well, no biggie if I never get it. xD;

My puzzle isn't responding. There's two filled spots but clicking on them and another square does nothing. I'm not at all sure what to do.

you need to use the cursor keys to move the squares (so pressing 'left' will move all the squares to the left, not just one).

I am SO grateful for this thread! Thank you to everyone involved in helping solve the puzzles. I was really lost on this one until the hints and especially the one about never pushing the down button. You all rock!

and in another note, am I the only one really loving Matlal!? IS AN ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE!!

I think I spent more time figuring out how to move the tiles than solving it. Telling us we needed to us the arrow keys would have been helpful

I'm confused... I reached 512 on the puzzle after several tries yesterday, but when I tried to submit it I got 504'd. So I tried again... and again... and again... and wasted probably over an hour on it because I suck at this sort of puzzle... then I was in the middle of a game when I got a pop-up saying everyone was tired and we were giving up for the night. It gave me the key and the achievement, but I could no longer access the puzzle, so I assumed it was already closed as far as the plot goes... but people are still able to play it today? Was there some bug that made the site late in realizing I had submitted a 512 game, or did it actually lock me out for sucking so bad? :P

I decided i love this last puzzle game 8D ..I haven't completed it yet, but i like this game x3
