Aha cool! I am glad I could help at least one person out! I also don't follow any particular pattern other than just not pressing down. Aside from that, I just look at the board and match tiles. =)

Yeah, for a time I was like trying a pattern, kinda being mindless about it... sometimes that works, but other times I actually had to think about it. Took actually a few tries to be more conscious about my decisions of moving the tiles before it finally came together. lol. Just wow, bleh. lol.

Aha yeah. I find myself, especially in my current tired state, just mindlessly mashing at times. I could clear it but I'm really trying to actually see if I can get a 2048 tile if possible. I think I read there was an achievement for doing so? I don't know for sure now.

Nice. That'd certainly be good enough for me, considering even with my strategy getting anything beyond a 1024 tile is proving difficult. <3

What worked for me best was left, up, left, up, etc. when I couldn't move I would go down once, then resume left, up, left, up. I find adding right into there causes my highest numbers to move. Either choose left/up or right/up to keep the high numbers in one corner.

Maybe as a glutton for punishment I'll try for the title too. Tho, can't say what the title is, I have no idea. lol.

@ Slowerthanzero I've been trying your strategy, and it does help, but I'm still never able to get passed 256. :( It's a lot easier for me to get to that point now, but getting to 512 is still going to be a challenge for me.... Numbers and I are just not on very good terms, ahaha. Thank you for your help all the same!

[edit] I finally got the silver key by using the lamest method possible; I literally just did left-up-right-down on endless repeat until it worked. Heck this game. xD Good luck to those trying to go for the title!!

EDIT: FINALLY! After several tries I finally managed to get 512, phew!

This puzzle is frustrating. I think I've tried at least 40 times so far. I've tried the left/up and right/up techniques and also the left-up-right-down one as well. I can never get passed 256. I may be here all night...

Just remember that when you get two tiles that match next to each other they double. So keep getting matches.

I had my silver key at my first time. It's easy, the only thing you need is to go in only 3 directions. For example I've never gone down.

too tired to post yesterday - i always have to wait until midnight my time when a new puzzle is released :(

so i quickly solved it and went to bed got up this morning at 6 to go to work and...now i see that there was more :( - pitty this morning i did see that we had to get 2048 for the other achievement and a title - such a bummer !!! oh well ...........

i still love these puzzles !!! just like last time in the tomb i loved all those riddles and puzzles too !!! lets hope some of these games will stay or come back after the event !!!

Ok no way I call bull on what just happened. I had 512 on the board I even added it up on the calculator and I clicked check and it said nothing happened. The game has to be glitched again

EDIT: Ok apparently when you get 512 it lights up as a scroll on the board saying 512. I got mine by spamming the Up,Left,Right buttons till they emptied into the 256 block from the 32's. I guess spamming buttons does work after all.

Ahahah, I got the 512 tile quite many times, but I didn't get that you only needed one of them to get the key! XD I thought I had to combine two of them to ''win.'' Oh well :'D A cool forum title and an achievement would've been nice, but I always got stuck on the same spot, with patterns or otherwise, sooo this is the best I can do.

I knew that wasting so much time playing 2048 would be useful eventually! Love this game ^_^

Oh sweet baby jesus...this is not fun...I suck......What happens if you skip this one? Is there a place where I can see what it is supposed to look like? I have tried several sequences...I am thinking it is random. ;(
