Millie got Magnus's note and went and changed into shorts. She went out to the Forbidden Forest and saw muggle bouncy castles. She was really tempted to run to one but resisted and went to join the rest of the group.

"Hi everyone. Hey Magnus, I like your new hair style". Just as she said that, she noticed some tension and heard mumbling about Mrs. Norris and the caretaker, Filch. She couldn't stand either of them. It was rare for Millie to dislike an animal, esp a cat so much. But ever since Mrs. Norris attacked Cleo, her cat, for wondering the halls, Millie honestly wanted that cat gone. For the longest time, she was convinced Filch was an animagi. There were many times she had to bite her tongue in order to keep her from telling Filch what she and the others really thought about it but she didn't want to risk her house getting in trouble or worse, having detention with him.

(( no, no its okay. See, I have a tendency to think things are my fault half the time. Realistically I factor in all the work, school and other things of life but there's a nagging feeling in the back of my head that says its my fault. So I think well if it is then I need to ask. But I want everyone to be able to be here when they can and enjoy it as well. ))

Magnus' gaze dropped to the ground. Truth be told, if he wasn't running the "show" as they say, he'd walk off. Yes he'd done it, but he'd felt so bad about it that he actually had turned himself in, not that he planned on telling them that part. He sighed, not at all in the mood to play. "Whatever," he said trying to sound like he'd let it go. "Go ahead, try the body bind on me." His speech came out flat. Try as he might, he wasn't good at hiding the way he felt.

"'ey Millie," he said, "thanks, Charms accident and well I kinda liked it."

"It's a good accient. At least it didn't leave you bald or with something really weird, like feathers" She smiled warmly because she could tell he was upset about something.

"Lord knows I spend enough time in the 'osptial wing," he said with the barest of smiles. "So, er body bind, is done wif the spell petrificus totalus. Would you an' Paddy like to give it ago?"

Millie smiled, "Sure. Let's do this." (ooc - I'm going to be stepping away for a while. Big job interview. I'll respond when I get back and changed out of my good clothes)

Katsumi might not be very good at expressing herself, but she didn't have so much trouble reading others. She'd really hurt his feelings, and she regretted it. But he /had/ been wrong, even if he'd made sure the cat was found. She tugged at the lock of hair hanging next to her face. "I'm sorry, Magnus," she said quietly. "I can be...judgemental, I guess." She looked back at him when Millie mentioned his new hairstyle. "It does look good on you. You going to keep it for a while, then?" She waved a greeting to the two other girls.

He forced himself to look at her, even though he knew he looked like a kicked puppy... or would that be wolf? "It was wrong, I know. Didn't feel to good 'bout it meself." In a low voice only she could've heard, "I lied, turned meself in. Even though she were fine an' I removed the curse." Casting his gaze back down in shame for a moment, then he smiled warmly. She liked his new hairstyle. His mood shot up and without his normal flirting swagger he said, "Was thinkin' o' keepin' it. Probly wouldn't've been able ta get this kinda style till I was fifteen if it wasn't fer the accident. Should've seen the other bloke, 'e 'ad 'air all o'er 'is body. Looked like 'e were a yetti."

One of the girl's brows arched up at his quiet confession, and her sharp gaze softened. She nodded in return. "A yeti? Oh dear. Could be worse, I suppose. I flubbed a polyjuice potion once. One of Cato's feathers mut have gotten in it. Feathers everywhere. So...petrificus totalus? Can you show us? ...I'll be your target, if you like."

Millie smiled and waved at Katsumi. "How are you?"

The tension seemed to have left and he felt better. He nodded, "Yeah at least 'e was de-'aired quickly enough. We both got overzelous me thinks. All right then," he said not really wanting to do the curse on her, "but you gotta stand on the castle cos I ain't wantin' no one 'urt." When she was on the castle he steadyed his nerves and said "petrificus totalus" her legs and arms sprung together and she fell backwards as if she were stone. A slight bounce after she hit the floor. He quickly preformed the counter curse and offered her his hand to help her up.

Katsumi climbed into the castle without any objections. She liked them -- it was tempting to just jump around, but that wasn't why they were there. Magnus cursed her, and she watched his wand's motion carefully in the moment before the spell took hold and she toppled over. But he quickly dispelled it, and she accepted his hand up. "Nice. You'd better show us the countercurse before I try, though. Wouldn't want you to get stuck."

When she and the others thought they had it down, she took a few steps back, and lifted her wand. "Petrificus Totalus!" ((you can decide if she gets it or not. ^.^))

"Probly keep me out of trouble though," he chuckled, "but you already know the counter-curse, its the standard one." He readied himself for the curse and she hit. His body froze and he fell with a bounce that nearly knocked Katsumi off the castle. Bouncing frozen another two times. Huh, he thought, why did he bounce more? Maybe more muscles?

Pleased with her success, the girl uncursed Magnus without any difficulty and helped him up in turn. She couldn't help bouncing just a little on the way over. "So who's next?" she asked, looking at the others. Katsumi realized belatedly she'd never even replied to Millie's question. "Ah, I'm doing well. It's been...an interesting week." She ducked her head slightly as she remembered a certain uncharacteristic incident only a few days earlier.

"Well done," Magnus said when he was able to move. When she bounced he fell over bouncing, but laughed.

Aria loved the new look that Magnus was sporting and listened as he talked about the accident in Charms class. Watching the other students, she felt like she should participate with the Petrificus Totalus charm. She'd been successful at using that one without even knowing it before entering Hogwarts, but hadn't tried using it on another student before. She bounced a few times in the bouncy house and giggled brightly.

Dax watched mournfully from the outside and used his mind voice to complain to Aria about how much he wanted to participate. Aria shrugged, 'You know your claws would pop the muggle bounce house,' she mind spoke to her sorrowful companion. Dax curled up in a ball and watched, just as a mouse might watch a fish swimming aimlessly in a fish bowl.

((ooc: Good news everyone!!! () I still have my migraines, they are just as bad (if not worse), but I finally got in to see a doctor. I was hoping for non-prescription remedies but there aren't any. And even with heavy (life threatening) meds, I still have to live life avoiding lights (crazy, right?!). SO I am still staring at the pill bottle, not brave enough to even try them (based on severity of the side effects). But the doctor did give me anti-nausea and pain meds to help with the symptoms, to make them a bit more manageable (they put me to sleep though lol).XD

Anyways, my sister () came up with this idea for using a projector as a computer instead of a standard PC LCD screen. She researched a projector that may use a light source I might be able to handle. I am using the new projector right now to play subeta/surf the web while running a migraine-test. The bad news is, it still makes me sick, I lose focus easily, get supper irritable, and feel slightly dizzy-nauseous. But the severity and number of my migraine symptoms has been cut in quarter, so I can actually use this projector (it seems) with fewer problems. I am going to keep trying it to see what happens, but I am really hopeful about this!

Sorry this is such a long winded OOC, but I wanted to update you all. Also, I do not have a real place to type, so my posts will be very short, since this typing position hurts my wrists super bad. I am in the process of buying a computer desk. I moved in march and have yet to get my room set up/a desk/lighting/etc. XD ))

"'Ey sis," Magnus said seeing Aria. He also noticed how disappointed Dax looked to not go bouncing. He came over and cooed as he dug in his bag. "You think, I'd forget you?" He pulled out some orange plastic claw covers from a muggle pet store. "Ain't it great? Plop these on 'im Aria, an' then 'e won't pop the castles." He beamed with pride having thought of Dax. It didn't hurt that the orange was his favourite colour either.

((hopefully things will continue to improve. Even though it still isn't great it sounds like progress. Hopefully the doc will help <3))

Aria smiled warmly as Magnus interacted with Dax. "You know, he really does like you," she commented. "I'm glad he has you too, because he was pretty wary of boys up until meeting you." Aria took the claw covers that Magnus had thought to purchase and secured them to Dax's feet. "These were incredibly thoughtful of you! I am incredibly lucky to have you as a brother!" Aria hugged Magnus and watched Dax, who was purring and chirping in extreme joy. Dax flapped his wings as a happy thank you, to Magnus and bounded around the jumpy house.

"Was scared o' 'im till I realised 'e's really a big baby," he said smiling meaning nothing but fondness. "'E means so much to you, so 'e means a lot to me now." He blushed so deeply he almost looked scarlet but he was happy to make both her and her beloved pet so happy.

Aria noticed his severe blush but didn't mention it. She was really feeling loved and grabbed Magnus's hand and pulled him up into a few high jumps with her. "It's fun to relax, having fun, while not worrying about class!" She said, feeling almost like she was forcing him to have fun with her. She released his hands and let him decide if he would continue bouncing a few more times with her. "You know, I have never actually bounced in one of these until today," she said with a thoughtful look around the bouncy house.
