Magnus beamed as Aria did the silent spell so well. She had been practising hard. Their Dad was really adept at them. Magnus had been practising them as well. "Would you like to partner wif me until others come?" He asked Millie. He hoped others were coming.... Maybe Gaia, Fade, Aderyn and Sam perhaps?
Millie smiled at Aria. "It was really nice. I got a lot of work done, so I'm acutally ahead for a while. How was your break?"
Magnus had asked her to be his partner until others showed up. "Sure. Watch out though, I cast a wicked disarming spell" she said smiling. (ooc - sorry for the delay. It's been a couple of crazy days. I adopted a puppy and I've been spending my time with him. I'll tag in you post that has his pictures)
While Aria was waiting fro Paddy to prepare her next move, she heard Millie talking to her. Trying to focus on both her sparring partner and Millie was easy, as long as she wasn't trying to cast any charms. "My break was fantastic, probably the best summer of my life." Aria looked over to Magnus and winked in his direction, knowing that he knew exactly why her summer break had been wonderful; she finally had a real family! "It was really nice getting to have my new adoptive dad teach me things about magic and having a mom I could actually confide in." Aria wrinkled her nose and pulled a face at Magnus. "Though having a new brother," she said while pointing to Magnus, "can be quite annoying." Aria pretended to whisper her last statement, but was only joking so made sure she said it loud enough for Magnus to hear. ( )

I really really extremely want:"I'd love to learn how to do non verbal spells," Paddy replied, "although I think I might end up casting the wrong spell by mistake." She took a few moments to absorb what Aria was saying about her past before adding "I thought being a werewolf was bad enough, but I can't imagine what it must've been like to be on the streets in London!"
Waving her wand again, she said "expelliarmus" and noticed Millie's wand fly from her hand. "I guess I need to work on my aim a bit more," she said as she rushed to pick up the wand and hand it back to Millie.

"Living on the streets is hard, but it's better than being with people who hurt you; I preferred the streets to pain. I also found out how generous some people can be," Aria said just as she witnessed Millie's wand fly from her grasp. Aria couldn't help herself and laughed out loud quite loudly when Millie's wand flew from her grasp. "I love it!" She exclaimed. "The learning process is full of surprises. You should have seen the crazy things that happened when I first started practicing nonverbal spells."

I really really extremely want:"I'm glad to hear you had a good break." Millie said. "I'm going to Greece for the next break with my family, my boyfriend and his family. I'm really excited"
Millie's wand flew was her hand as Magnus cast the disarming spelling. "Good job!" she said and she went to retreat her wand.
She overheard Paddy mention about want to learn non-verbal spells and that reminded her that's something she really want to master as well. "Yeah, I would love to learn non-verbal spells. I've also thought about becoming an Obliviator and non-verbal spells would work great"
"'Aving a sister is a pain in the rear too," he said with a half smile to Aria, "especially when me sister nicks me kippers at breakfast when I ain't lookin'" Truth be told, he loved it. Having a sister was fantastic to him--even when they bickered it was nice. He had missed the children at the orphanage so having a sibling thrilled him to no end. "Aria's been getting pretty good at non-verbals. Can't top Dad yet," he laughed, "but i reckon if she practices she might give 'im a run for 'is money."
Then Millie was speaking to him and he nodded and was about to reply when Millie's wand shot out of her hand. "Twasn't me, mate," he laughed, "Twas Paddy. Nice form there, Paddy, little off on the aim, but 'ey I won't tell you what I did to meself on my first non-verbal spell." He wasn't about to take Aria's thunder, she volunteered first to teach non-verbals so he didn't offer his services at the moment.
He stood on the mat and faced Millie, "okay, give me your best shot," he said to Millie
Fade ducked out of the way of an airborne wand as he stepped into the room. “Just in time.” He smirked as he removed his robes, setting them in a pile to the side, along with two textbooks. Pushing up his sleeves he read over the board. “If anyone wants to practice basic movements, leme know.” Producing his wand, he gave it a few practice flicks.
Magnus greet his friend. "Glad you came! Of course if you didn't I might've had to 'ide that biting teacup that found Professor Trelawney's nose again in your bed." He snickered knowing full well he wouldn't do that. The boys were probably better mischief makers if they worked together. "If you want, you can work wif me and Millie."
Everyone was having such a good time they hadn't seemed to notice is was past time to leave. He thanked everyone for coming and when he reached his common room flopped down in the squashy chair he liked, with a smile. It went pretty well he thought.
Boggarts
((ooc: we'll be giving this one till 21st August to play and all.))
Paddy entered the charms room and spotted the cupboard. It looked surprisingly creepy, shuddering and shaking in the middle of the room, and it dawned on her that there'd be a Boggart inside. Pulling her wand from her cloak pocket, she copied the wand movement a few times, trying to memorise it before adding the incantation. She didn't want to be the first to tackle it as she wasn't quite sure what she was most afraid of, and didn't know what the Boggart would turn into.

Fade made sure to show up on time. Partially because he had stayed behind after Charms had ended, to help clean up and move some of the heavier items out of the way. He was filled with a nervous sort of excitement. Magnus () had refused to tell him just what they club would be doing out of fairness to the other students. But, Fade had read every book he could find about magical creatures, and had a pretty good idea of what was rattling around inside the armoire.
He was glad to see at least. Waving he crossed the room to say a proper hello. “Hey, Paddy. Ever see a Boggart before?” He was a bit curious as to how Magnus managed to talk the professors into this. But knowing his friend, there was undoubtedly a plan for when someone crumpled under pressure. Producing his wand he began to practice the movements as well.
Magnus thought Paddy and Fade both looked a little nervous. He couldn't blame them, since that was how he felt. "Don't worry, you'll do fine." he said to the pair reasuringly, "Your wand movements are looking great."
Paddy looked at Fade and shook her head, "heard about them, but never seen one," she replied, still wondering what her greatest fear was, and just how she could make it funny. She knew the full moon wasn't her favourite sight, but what if she really had a greater fear of something entirely different?

Millie aimed for Mangus, "Expelliarmus!" and knocked Magnus's wand from his hand. Millie noticed the club had run over. "Thanks for an awesome meeting. Magnus. I look forward to next week."
(really sorry for the delayed response. I've been house sitting and have had limited access to a computer)
Unaware that Paddy was struggling to know what she was afraid of, Magnus checked on Millie who was now arriving. "Ready for Boggarts?" he asked.
(no worries :) you're fine. )
Paddy kept practising the wand movements, torn between excitement at actually giving the spell a go, and trepidation at what the Boggart would turn into. "Just as long as I don't make a complete fool of myself," she muttered under her breath, still waving her wand to try and memorise the correct directions.

"You'll be great," Magnus said quietly, having snuck up behind her. "You ready for it?" he asked woundering if he should let it out yet.
"I think I'll be okay. I just have to remind myself I'm loved and I'm doing great in all my classes. I'm scared of failure and rejection"
Millie stood in line and pictured her friends and family and having to choose between her top three career choices while being begged by the bosses to choose them
""I'm as ready as I'm likely to be," Paddy replied, "if Millie wants to go first, I'll go second."
