We've had a lot of really fun plots over the years. There was the Faded Memories, the Underground War, the Omen Islands and the cruse liner. But I was wondering what stories other players would like see to expand the world or just have fun with. What stories would you like to see? Are there certain places in the world you would like adventures in? How about a library of all the old stories and what happened so that newer players can catch up and those who played them can read them again? Put your thoughts here and have a chat about it. For my part I'd like to hear more about Calvin Blackmoon and what's been happening in the Underground since Ecks took the role of co-chancellor with Skitters.

Perhaps a story telling the beginnings of a certain character? Like The Oracle? Or The Healer? Or any other? :o

I'd love something about Calvin and Sebastian, or the Oracle. I know there's been suggestions of dredging up old plots and making a museum, but I think the idea has been vetoed by staff. I am not 100% sure on that, though -- and I'd /adore/ reading them.

That would be good. I'm curious about the Oracle as well. How did she loose her wing? And how did she meet Shinwa? There's a lot of story ideas there. I have heard rumors of having a story about the guy who runs the Book Shop but I'm not sure how true they are.

That's a shame. I wonder why? I wasn't thinking of keeping the exact pages. More like a part of the SubetaPedia with an over view of events. Just so people can keep up with past events. Hm. I wonder if any players have done that? I've kept some of the old events as a story. I'll have a look. It might be a fun community project! ^_^

What would you like to have a plot line about?

I'd love to reread old plots for sure! My two favs were the saheric plot, the omen plot, and I loved the cruise!

I would love to have another involved plot like that, but I think the staff isn't planning on any big plots anymore maybe. I know they take tons of work. But I'll be excited if there ever is something!

I think the staff are taking a break to focus on updating the code of the site so it runs smoother with fewer breaks in service. Plots do tend to bring the site down so I do understand why they're taking a break and going over everything and leaving the plots for now. But I don't think they'll stop all together. With the site running smoother they might do new areas and ideas. I would love another cruise. Maybe one ending up in the Omen Islands. The Sea Witch has been so quiet since that big storm and I would like some advance in the stories of the characters. I sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be an idea to have Mori and Nori separate and find their own homes. Just as the next part of the story. This would also help those after the achievement. For example: before the night/day up date I would need to play Subeta in the morning to do Mori's quests. I'm not that worried about Mori's quests but for someone who is the day and night thing can be tricky even with the update. I'm also curious as to how Shinwa and Maliar would react.

That's right! I'm particularly curious about the Oracle's story :o Ooh o:

No idea if they will be using him in a story or not. We seem to be getting a lot more background on shop keepers recently. Which one would you like more info on if you could choose?

My understanding is she and Shinwa and Maleria are all from the same planet, and the Oracle was tasked with keeping an eye on them in their exile.

I wonder if we'll ever be allowed to explore the home world of Shinwa, Maleria and the Oracle? The planet of Subeta is pretty full now and we can already go to Atebus. It would open up a huge range of game play if they do go down that route but the stories would be even better. I wonder why the Oracle was tasked with that?

I'm curious about the Music Shop shopkeeper and the All That Glitters shopkeeper; both seem very mysterious o: I'd like to know more about the Spells Galore girl too, she seems to have an interesting story :D

I don't know if it's been done already, but I really wanna know more about Quentin.

That would be a good one. He is rather mysterious but that maybe part of the point of him. Still I would like to know more about the places of Subeta. I would like to explore the history of the places as well. It might be nice if we could have one or two seasonal buildings too. Like an ice hotel in the Artic Frost. One thing I am wondering about is if they're planning to do away with the pet based shop keepers. I hope not as they give free rein to those who like to write their pets as having human level inteligence and a degree of dextarity.

An ice hotel would be beautiful. Has there been any hint at getting rid of pet based shop keepers? It seems l like such a random thing for the site to do.

Merena and Maleria team up to try to take over Subeta as a sexy team of bad ladies.

The opposing good gals that rise up against them could be the Oracle and Shinwa.

There could be something about Mori/Nori, since she (them?) is/are the balance between dark and light.

You get to choose which side you want to fight for. Good or evil. The various NPCs would get involved, too. Elwood fights for his own team, just casually trolling everyone, walking around the battlefields trying to sell his cheap-ingredient pizzas, etc.

I think an ice hotel would make a wonderful place for a plot or just some fun events. Certainly for the summer heat it would be a nice thing to play in. There has been any word on removing them. It was more because the majority are humanoid now. Part of the joy of Subeta is the fact you can make your pet as intelligent as you want and the site supports that with their own shop keepers. I don't want that to change and I'm always happy to see another shopkeeper that's a pet. ^_^ I would like more of them and a few stories too. Sometime I think Luna should be the shop keeper for the Quest shop.

That does sound like fun and would allow for more backstory and development of the characters. It would be nice to see Elwood more often too. It would be a great twist on the current situation to find out those two had been conspiring for years!

Hopefully they'll keep the pet NPCs coming, I mean they've already started a new generation. I'm looking forward to seeing the cubs grow up. I don't know anything about Luna, except I assume she's the wizard's montre?

I wonder how fast the cubs will grow? They are very cute though. Hm. I wonder if they will lead to a new Island plot? It was a child the Sea Witch took in the Island plot and she's made her dislike of the local pirate population known. Luna's a Kumos and she does help the wizard. It's often implied she has more to her than first appearances would suggest. I think it would be fun to have her as the Quest Shop keeper. Though it is easier to know what to expect based on the quester's picture.
