LoL It turned out to be a lot more than I expected too. Some are avatar sites as well. Although, over the years several have shut down or are closed temporarily. Still, I was trying to manage a solid 15+. IMVU, SL, MS, EC, PA, DC, VoU, FR, Kokk, FoM, CS, FG, Xanj, Fab, spork, RS, DDW/Ori, Aywas, WoU (Temp.Down), khim etc... plus several Click sites to grow some of the pets.

The one I was a member of for many many years, was Uni (UniCreatures/UnFaction) Then they moved to a new Uni site, which shut down pretty quickly as I don't think many people liked the change. Plus there were conflicts with the owner and staff. Loosing that one hurt, as I had spent a lot of money there, over the years. Plus the Friends of course.

Have always popped in on Subeta for years, but a few months ago, I decided to stop all the madness running here and there and just stick with Subeta, full time. Only cheated a few times. :P Have always Loved Subeta, but at times the site here is hard for me to load. Lately though it seems to be doing pretty good overall. :)

she's ok. she tried to talk me out of it, but i was having none of it. but then she met him, and she's quite taken, especially with how clever he is. he sits and listens to you talk to him, he twitches his ears and turns his head like a dog does, and last night he sat in the corner of his cage watching my tv XD

Haha, I love it when pets actively watch shows. Its funny to see them doing such a human activity. Our cats LOVE movies, and when we watch movies with the projector in our bedroom, the cats ALWAYS join us to watch. And they really do watch it! They sit facing the screen and everything (unless they fall asleep, of course...)

haha XD it's so sweet when they do that. my dog only watches tv if a cat starts meowing. he ignores dogs and puppies, but he always looks at the screen all concerned if he hears a cat. i don't think it's in a 'oh! cat! chase!' way, more like he's actually worried about them!

Ah, yeah. Pets in distress on tv are always very upsetting. Our cats usually don't like shows with animals in them; I guess they don't like the things the animals say! The cat I had when I was young LOVED animal shows, though. He'd only come to watch tv if it was Animal Planet. :O

i watch a lot of animal shows, so i guess my dog just ignores them mostly XD he cant befriend the animals on tv, therefore doesn't care.

My Pup, Luci Lui, (Pictured Below) Loves Tom Selleck, specifically the Magnum, P.I. years. :) We'd catch her laying in her chair staring toward the Tv and at times putting her paws up toward the edge of the entertainment center. She would always run to the Tv even when his picture just appeared on a commercial, on Cozy Tv. Cozy took the show off the schedule, so she doesn't get to see him anymore. :(

Oddly, she never seems to notice when we are watching Blue Bloods.

I say, She has good taste in men. :P

Yeah, that's fair. :P But our kitties might see it a bit differently, because all of the kitties in our family have learned about skype, which basically means they understand that people and creatures in screens are real, and they COULD show up in your house in real life. :O So maybe that's why they take it more seriously?

Haha, that's sweet. I don't think our pets have any particularly favorite actors. They'll watch just about anything. :O

- Subeta has been running a lot smoother since they did a server move late last year. The only bad hiccups were during Masquerade.

Thank you :) Emotions are all over the place this week... Hadn't thought of my HA beings so transparent. Our yard pup/dog/stray that showed up at our door around Christmas... He has been Missing since last Thursday; we found out yesterday that he was hit and lost his life. My Husband and I, are taking it harder than we expected. Wish we had put him on a chain, ...or had a fence for him.... but it would have taken the spirit out of him. He was sweet, and loyal...but he like to chase vehicles. We tried so to break him of it, and thought he was getting better, but I suppose not. Heavy Heart....

Yes it has, and I'm so tickled about it. Do hope this next event doesn't run as bad for me as the last. Had a bit of a hiccup yesterday, at least for me. Maybe they were testing things.

Oh no, how horrible! :( This seems to be a bad week for pets. One of my students messaged me yesterday that she was going to be late for class because she had to take her pet to the vet, and when she got to class and I asked how her pet was, she replied with "sleeping forever". :( :( I was amazed she still came to class! But then again, her boyfriend was away for work, so maybe she really just didn't want to go back to a quiet house. :/ Which I do understand...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I would never let a dog wander loose these days in a city. Even in the country it can be iffy, what with coyotes and such. My dogs stay fenced in all the time and they're quite happy.

more news on my new Degu, Chip. so i've been working on getting him more used to me, putting my hand in the cage and just letting him get used to the smell, feeding him by hand, things like that. tonight i sat with the cage door open onto my lap, (he loves to get out the cage, though i'm scared to let him out because i don't know if i'll get him back XD ), so i put my hands either side of the open door, so he would come and climb onto my lap, which he did. he sat there for a while, totally chilled out, so i moved my hands in a bit, so that his only choices were to climb further onto my lap or over my hands to get back into his cage (was keeping a close eye on his behaviour, so if he seemed to stressed i'd move my hands and just let him into the cage where he felt safe). eventually i even managed to get him sitting on my hands, then i lifted him up so he was cradled safely in my arms, and he let me give him a pat (which he hasn't let me do yet, except his nose, and only when he's eating :P), then he scaled my chest onto my shoulder and headed down my back, so i had to grab him and put him back in the cage at that point because i didn't know where he was going XD so now he's just chilling out in the corner of the cage closest to me. so i think he's getting more used to me! slowly does it! i'm letting him do things on his terms more than mine, to make him happy. though the dog got a tad too close to the cage earlier (he's a big softy and wouldn't hurt Chip or the gerbils) but chip doesn't know this and started squeaking like the dog was trying to kill him, then hid away. so i had to send the dog out the room, but i gave him a treat to let him know it was ok. XD

Congratulations on the new job!!! I hope you enjoy it more than your old one :D I'm sure you'll do great!!!

It sounds like you're doing a great job with Chip! Hopefully, before you know it, Chip will let you pet him happily.
