All he had for the Olympic event was dorky looking shorts in a spray. XD
I normally go Cloud Hanzo. c: Too many Okami/Lone Wolf Hanzos lurking though I do use Okami if I'm not Cloud.

Omf I looked it up and he looks like a coach to a kids soccer league, very dorky indeed
GUILTY AS CHARGED I use the Lone Wolf skin but I don't know how much that counts for since I have a whopping 30 or so minutes as Hanzo, {coming from someone sporting the silver border too lol} :X I'm bad at aiming Cloud is the best epic skin imo, the other one looks like mustard
I'm finding my aim's getting better recently. I blame all the bad teams I'm getting; I get tired of healing DPS who can't kill anything, so I swap to the gun and help because otherwise we're getting nowhere. Reinhardts seem to turn their back on Mercy all too often, and a few shots to the back of the head tends to make them regret it.
I know, right? It's very much a case of "Nice knees, Hanzo." I still refuse to believe that he escaped the fight with Genji unscathed. Not with those calves and ankles.
The Kill Bill skin? XD I don't mind that one but I don't like it either. I went back to my Okami for right now since I'm trying to dust off my Hanzo skills in PvP.

I barely got any of the skins I wanted from the Uprising event. feelsbad ;n; I did get D.Va's officer skin last week though! My D.Va playtime may or may not have increased as a result of that lol
How hard is it to get? I really want it but I'm not that keen on getting into HOTS that much.
I think they really nerfed the drop rate of event stuff in this event compared to previous.
you dont have to actually win to get the officer skin! :9 just finish your matches.
Ah! so no requirement to actually learn to play it, so long as I don't quit out of the match. That's better. I'm not 100% sure how much I like the police mech but I love the officer uniform on D.Va. Also, I'm glad that we're getting a reminder that she's a grown adult not a child. I'm very against the infantilizing of her that seems to be de rigeur. She's nineteen years old and has been a real army mech soldier for years at this point. She's killed. She's seen friends die. She's probably been wounded in battle. She's not a goddamn kid.
Not too hard. Just play 5 matches of HotS (not against AI tho) with a friend! The police mech took some getting used to for me, but I really love the police siren noises the mech makes when flying. Now, I fly around unnecessarily all the time just to hear it lol
I love D.Va's flying anyway :) Plus, it's really useful to do things like push people off the edge ...
Currently I'm using one of her Junker skins, but I have them all except this new one.
D.Va's an interesting character with a lot more depth there to be found.
I guess I can finally join in on this topic lmao.
I'm at Morven#1545. Feel free to add me if you'd like, anyone here.
Neat about your battle.net tag!
(rubs hands together) So, what are you all hoping for in the Anniversary event? It's supposed to start around the 23rd or so. I would actually kill for a decent Lucio skin. I started playing during Christmas and I missed the Andes skin; which just so happens to be the only really nice one for him, imo. He's my main, so I'm like... dyin' inside not having a nice skin for my beautiful froggy boy. @ Bliz where's my Lucio skin from HOTS?
I've recently started playing Overwatch and I'm undeniably hooked! I'm currently just borrowing a friend's account, but after all the loot boxes and levelling up, I'm going to buy it for myself!
I mainly use Orisa and Lucio. But I really do want to get better with Offense and Defense heroes. Any tips? :)
How's your aim? If this is your first FPS or you're just not good at them, likely not that good yet; it's a trainable skill that takes a while to build. If you don't have good aim and can't reliably hit moving targets from a distance, avoid Soldier 76, Widowmaker, Ana, Hanzo and McCree, I'd advise DO play them in some of the practice arenas, maybe spend a few minutes there each time you play Overwatch with one of those characters.
Pharah is great fun but having to think about flying AND the enemy is a bit overwhelming at first. You'll be thankful every time you don't have to walk back to the fight after you respawn. Tracer is such a joyful character to play and just go around being an utter pest to the enemy with. And Junkrat's unique box of tricks makes him very entertaining to play around with, and very useful. Me, I'm almost 100% Mercy. 2nd most hours is in D.Va, third in Soldier 76 (since I'm finally getting better aim).
P.S. As tank or healer, most of the time you're doing the obvious straight-line route to the objective. If you're playing DPS, the better you know ALL the little back ways, the better at it you'll be. So create a custom game, put just yourself in it, and then you have a half hour to explore any one of the maps. If your brain's like mine it'll take a few times and a lot of running around, but it's so worth it.
I'm actually legitimately surprised nothing about the event has been leaked yet besides the lookblx appearance and the number of items each character is getting.
Soldier is the most forgiving of the Offence heros in my opinion, just because of the way he plays. He's that traditional role with the basic gun, a running ability to get out of tough situations (and get in them :d lol) and a self heal so he isn't 100% dependent on the healers and health kits. My personal favorite is Phara, I think the most fun thing is aerial superiority and when no one is willing to counter you then you can absolutely wreck games Tracer is good fun when you know the maps and health kit locations Ultimately it's just play everyone and see who you're drawn to, each play style is unique (except Orisa because she seems to be a little bit of a couple heros all mushed together, but even then I guess that's unique too hehe) If you like the sensetitivty settings on your friends account you might want to write them down so you can use them when you get your own game, or use it for a basis, you probably already thought of that but I figured I'd mention it c:
Well I've played the Resident Evil games and Monster Hunter, so I can say that my aim's a bit good. Maybe I just need to get used to each hero's style? I actually can't choose who I want to main among the offense and defense heroes haha
Thanks for the tip about getting familiar with the maps! I'll definitely try it out!
Oooh that's true about the sensitivity settings. I'll be sure to write them down! I agree that S76 seems the most "familiar" character to play, but I do want to explore the other heroes as well! For Phara, I wish I really could master how to effectively aim and shoot while being airborne haha

The good thing about Phara is that she has splash damage with her rockets so direct hits aren't always needed to do damage Some maps are definitely better for Phara than others, cluttered maps with high platforms I find are the best, Illios for example. It's probably pretty obvious but I like to tap my thrusters rather than hold them down to save on fuel, you stay in the air for way longer and it gives a bit of stability for me when firing. If you're really interested in Phara, there's a Grandmaster that explains how he uses her as well as tips and tricks on YouTube, his name is Valkia.
