Yeah, the cross-platform thing should be a standard, and the fact that it was so publicly shot down, is depressing. I dislike that it's standard practice to fracture the gaming community three to five ways (five if you include Nintendo and mobile gaming). Either way, it's a fun game, though the quick matches do tend to be a bit of a ghost town. I've waited 8 minutes before finding a real match before. Sure skirmishes are fun, but that gets old between every two matches. For the good of the community, there should have been crossplay for quick matches...

I just hope there's some content for the normally neglected characters that aren't exclusives like Genji's Oni skin.

One would think it would work that way, since it would allow the community to grow and thrive, but that makes far too much sense. I kept getting dropped into matches tonight where they were nearly complete or so far gone, there was no point in my even being there. One was where I didn't even make it out of spawn, five seconds on the clock and I'm staring at my TV, going, "REALLY????"

So I haven't played in a couple weeks because of the release of Andromeda. And I've been getting back into Destiny with my friends as of late.

But I'm curious--how is Orisa? (She has released, right?) I haven't looked into her much since they announced her and unless if I missed it, I haven't noticed anyone mention playing as her.

The new Mercy skin though. I'm so excited for this event. ❤

Also, per a peep I follow on Tumblr (and with whom I share a mutual saltiness over the lack of love for Hanzo), Hanzo gets 20 items this event coming. Now, if that's true or just dataminers getting ahead of themselves again, we'll have to wait until Tuesday to find out.

I'm glad to hear! I'm pretty invested in Destiny with my free time atm, but once the next couple busy weeks settle down, I'll need to give her a shot.

And I'd be totally cool with that! Many characters, like Hanzo, need some love. I feel like the usual characters get the cool skins anyway.

There is nothing more infuriatingly fun to do to other players than walk out of various ults unharmed by Orisa's Fortify. You can walk out of Zarya's, Mei's and Rein's with ease. Like "NOPE."

I had a similar experience today too! Matches online are becoming ghost towns, or I'm put into matches that are nearly done. If they unified the quick matches, onto a single server, we wouldn't have this problem. I know that there is never going to be such a unification of the servers, but it totally should. Plus, people should be forced to buy an expensive system just to play with their friends... My friends on the Xbox One are segregated away from myself as a PC gamer. That type of segregation needs to end a decade ago.

There's a good reason why console and PC are split, though; because the different control schemes impact play a lot. It'd make balancing even more hell that it currently is.

I was smart enough to save up my coins so that when Combat Medic Ziegler became available I bought it. Now I don't have to panic and buy a million loot boxes. (Yes, I'm still bitter that I didn't get the Summer Games skin).

(edit) I do have to say that Blackwatch Genji is actually hot. I didn't really click with any of his other skins but man ...

So much for those twenty items for Hanzo, lmao. At least Chu confirmed there's three skins coming for Hanzo, now it's just a matter of when which will be between now and when hell freezes over...

I think that it would be a safe bet that eventually at least 3 new Hanzo skins will be made, but without promises, that could mean over the next 5 years of the project ...

BTW anyone else finding that the drop rate for stuff from the current event is absolutely terrible??

Yes, but I did get everything and once they fixed the glitch with the event icon, I have absolutely everything. (Five years, give me strength--)

I made sure to save 3500 coins so I could just buy the Mercy skin immediately and all her voice lines etc, so i wouldn't panic. The only absolutely can't-miss things, so I won't panic. I've gotten the Tracer and Torbjorn skins but not the Genji, Widowmaker, or other ones ... and I keep getting Legendary drops that turn out to be only old Legendary skins I've already got.

Fingers crossed for the Olympic event? He didn't get one for that did he? To be honest I'm legit disappointed there wasn't a Valentine's Day event so he could get a Cupid skin, even if it wasn't like an EVENT but like that Eichenwalde skin bonus for Rein Im curious on what skin you normally sport?

My drop rate is pretty bad imo, I managed to get the Torb stuff....and bastion stuff.... :T and I think the Genji skin. So maybe three skins so far? The Mercy skin is super cute though, I just went back to sporting the devil skin but I'll buy the new one if I don't get it from a box
