I thoroughly understand people wanting to enjoy activities outside now too. I'm not on as much myself. 😄

Well, temperatures dropped by 12°C during the weekend and it rained, so nothing drawing me outside at this time. Plus my hayfever is starting to set in (thanks to the rain clearing the air I get a breather, though) so for a coulpe weeks I'll be avoiding any unnecessary trips outside... ^^"

you might as well stay in if it's yucky outside. That way you can Keep dry, stay warm,& avoid the things that set your allergies off.I wouldn't blame if you did. I know I would =)
We went out to eat last night for dinner. It was just right outside. But the restaurant was so warm in there.our apartment right now is really warm I think the people below us have their heat on high.My feet are usually freezing, I put a pair of socks on,then I head off to bed to get under the covers to warm the up.But the floor of our apartment is really hot right now. Why couldn't they turn the heat on last night when I was freezing hahahahahaha =) I'm having a heat wave in our apartment right now "Chuckles" =) It might be warmer outside also, which could be making it warm in here too. This is to funny hahahaha well let me get off here for a while,Be back later I'm sure =D

I'm sorry you have hay fever but happy the rain gave you a break. All the flowering trees bloomed early this year and more than ever. My husband is really being affected by allergies, mostly a terrible cough that won't let him sleep. It's much better if he stays inside but after being inside all winter, dreaming about when he could get out and put in his garden, it's hard for him to not go out and work in it. The weather is gorgeous but we could use a good wind and some rain to take the blossoms off. Never thought I'd be saying that!

Our house is too warm . I want to throw open the windows and let some of the sweet smelling air in and cool the house off but can't do that to Bruce with his allergies. I just feel lucky I can go outside without suffering.

, good luck with the house!

Hugs for !

It usually takes a couple weeks until the worst symptoms wear off. Due to my trip to Hong Kong, I got an extra week without symtoms, yay! XD

I'm cold nearly all year round (I stop feeling like a walking block of ice around 25°C and feel quite at home when it's 30-36°C outside). Sometimes I suspect there's some reptile in my ancentry somewhere... ^^" The last time our floor got that hot our underfloor heating was acting up...

Always. :-)

For me, my nose and eyes get terribly itchy and smart as if a red fire ant had bitten me. I'm not sure if I'd trade with your husband. Coughing sounds quite as unpleasant. And every spring I will eventually hope for rain and wind... ^^"

Yes,you are a lot =D
25°C =77Degrees F ( if I'm right)I sure hope I am & 30-36°C so 30c=86 degrees F & 36C =96 degrees F, you are right you must have reptile in your ancestry somewhere,if you stop feeling like an ice cube at 25drees C =) I would be roasting.the AC would would be on for sue =) EDIT: I forgot you do Celsius we do Fahrenheit that would be to hot for me =( I had to look it up after Sassy put a post under us then I realized what I had done. sorry. & It did get warm outside that's why it was so warm in here.Makes since now =) Sassy I like to open my balcony door to get some fresh air in here also.I can understand you can't because of Bruce's allergies.my daughter has outside allergies also when she's home & it warm in here we turn on the air conditioner, it really helps her out.She also smokes which isn't good for allergies either. =( I feel so bad for people with outside allergies =(

, your allergy symptoms sound pretty brutal. I'm so happy you got a break from them when you were in Hong Kong. It's plenty warm enough for me at 20 C. I can't take much heat. We haven't even thought about turning our ac on yet this year. Still have to run the furnace a little while to take the chill out of the house in the morning. It's been coming close to 0 every night but hasn't frozen our garden - yet. I can be outside and take long walks in this weather. When it gets hot, I have to stay in like a house plant or I get sick. 😄 hope your husband feels well at work and still feels well when he gets home. ((hugs))

😃 You're right 20C is 68F. I'm just getting to the point where I don't have to change celsius to fahrenheit in my mind to know what the temperature is. I grew up with F too. It's a really unusual year for us, that we haven't had a hard frost in May. We still might. I remember we had a freak snowfall in June one year. Our willow trees were all leafed out and the heavy snow broke almost all of the branches off. Made quite a mess to clean up. The evenings get down to 50 F almost all summer which makes it nice for sleeping but not great for growing gardens. It's a nice change from Michigan where I grew up. There it was hot and humid all night every night in the summer but did we ever grow some nice tomatoes and other veggies. The down side was the heat gave me migraines. I haven't had one since we moved to Canada.

It's alright, dear. ;-) Over here, houses don't usually come equipped with AC (it isn't considered necessary) and I sleep better with open windows anyways. So daily showers in the morning help to get rid of the pollen and ease the symptoms.

Well, my dancing partner is off worse than I (poor dear). And it's quite ironic how knowing someone else is off worse makes people feel better... ^^"

Changing "celsius to fahrenheit in my mind" Nope, I use my trusty computer.Hahahahaha =D I'm glad it was right. =) I think Michigan's weather is a little bit worse then ours.We get the heat & humidity but not as bad as that. It's not all the time at night either thank goodness. Our summers are pretty nice. when have a pool here my daughters uses when she gets hot.I'm an AC person myself.I used to like swimming,I have a gym membership, but the last time I went went The water was cold to me (the pool is heated also)I don't know if they we're having trouble with the heat in the pool or what. when I got out I couldn't get warm. I'm so glad when you moved to Canada Your migraines went away. That is some weird weather.to have snow in June to break Branches off your willow tree & no frost in May when you usually get it..When we get weird weather like That, I think What's causing this. When I was younger Our weather was never like this weird.
I'm glad you have a plan set to Make your allergy symptoms not as bad.I think We all sleep better with the fresh air from the windows coming in =) You just have to watch yours very closely because of the pollen that makes your Allergies flare up =( I feel so bad for the people that have Outside Allergies =(

, that's so funny but true. We can always make ourselves feel better, knowing others have worse things to deal with. We also have more compassion for people, when we can relate to their problem.

, the weather has changed so much here since we came 34 years ago. It's much warmer winter and summer now. We don't have the extremes that we use to have.

Going to exercise class this morning. Hope you all have a great day!

nods Very true. :-)

hugs I'm glad your husband is better. :-) For me, Fahrenheit are strange. For me it seems strange why anyone would devise a measuring system with random numbers instead of multiples of 10, which are so much easier to calculate... But as always, it's probably a matter of habit. Us Germany are pretty much "raised" on the metric system and what one has been used to since childhood is of course best. XD

, it's great to hear your husband is better. , Celsius does make more sense and if I had to change it was way easier to change to Celsius than to have always used Celsius and have to change to Fahrenheit. 😄

Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody!

Oh wow, I want to go to Japan, I love manga and anime. But I'v always wondered what it would be like since most of them are small and I'm quite large.

Today the closest city to me has the most pollen and allergens of all the city's in my country, according to pollen.com. I hate having allergies. I go through tissues like bottles of water. Breathing should not be this hard. I am held up in my room with my air purifier(the filters really need to to changed) and tissues in my nose. My head is pounding and every few minuets sinus pressure kicks in and I have pain. And this is with taking Medicine everyday. I know we need trees(oxygen, wood, etc...) but right now I hate them.

Anyway it was good catching up with you all. Good luck in what ever you do!

For most of the non-metric systems, I have no idea how to convert them and how much any of those measures is in the first place. I know a foot is approx. 30 centimetres and "made up" of 12 inches which are approx. 2.5 centimetres each. But that's about it... ^^"

Japan is very lovely and has got pretty much anything a tourist could ask for. It's got picturesque gardens and temples, historical streets, modern transportation & facilities, anything from large metropolises to small villages, mountains, ski resorts, subtropical beaches, ... and a highly interesting culture. But except perhaps very remote villages, foreigners are not unusualy anymore. I'm tall, blonde (dark blonde, mind), and blue-eyed and could travel around without a flock of Japanese kids trailing me, even 10 years ago. ;-) If you can afford it and are interested in Japanese culture (or think it's interesting), I would recommend going. With the olympics in 2020, the country is working hard to be more accessible to all kinds of people - i. e. mainly lower the language barrier by increasingly using English. Like creating English versions of Japanese transportation apps for smartphones, teaching staff to communicate in English, and things like that. Yes, I adore the country. ;-)

And I feel exactly the same about plants in spring. Recommendations I got were changing sheets frequently, trying out collunarium to get all the pollen out of your nose (although a wet cotton bud swiped through your nose works, too, if maybe not as long), daily showers to wash off all the pollen (including washing you hair).

Personally, I always make sure I use as little "sticky" skin/hair care products as possible. Like a body conditioner (which is applied and then washed off - like hair conditoner, really) instead of body lotion or avoiding using hair spray. If my eyes itch too much, I usually "rinse" them with contact lense solution (the one I have is a saline solution nearly identical to tears) or eye drops.
