Well, so long as I make it home eventually, I can deal with discomfort while traveling from one place to another. I've survived an 19 hours bus trip to England in high school, too. I'm 1.8m tall so "comfort" + "travelling from one place to another" are not usually two phrases I'd combine in the same sentence anyways (when talking about my own travels at least). The only really comfortable way to travel I've encountered until now is, surprisingly, the Japanese Shinkansen. :-) I suppose flying Business Class would be more comfortable, too, but for now that's too expensive.
hugs Lunch next week?
I insist!
thank you :D
thank you! Mistakes happen ;)
Thank you !
I had to look up Japanese Shinkansen to see what that was. I got a page telling about tours in Japan, showing a Shinkansen. Wow did it ever make me want to take a tour there. Looks wonderful. Wish I would have done that when I was younger. I could see why that would be a great way to travel.
HUGS for . Hope you're having a good month so far dear.
Your welcome
Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day!! hugs
Thank You =D Thank You A nice piece of cake sounds so good right now =) Nice to have you back home safely =)

Hi I wanted to say hi to everyone. since I got back from Arkansas I am so tired and not getting online much. I will feel better one day. HUGS to everyone!!!

I first went to Japan when I was 14 (my first flight & trip without family ever - and boy was my Mum scared) and fell in love with the country at first sight. I've been there four times by now and am already plotting when to go back again. XD
hugs I do love travelling (even with all the discomfort XD) but coming home again is also nice. :-)
I like traveling also.We don't travel that often so when we go It's so much fun =) I'm so glad you caught up on the sleep =)
I'm so glad you made it Home safe also =D You get your rest, catch up on your sleep & I Hope you feel better soon =D

Thank you for the birthday treats and wishes :) I just logged on after being at work all day and and was welcomed by such a wonderful surprise.
I'm glad your home from Arkansas. Get feeling better real soon. ((HUGS))
, 14 is pretty young to go on a trip without your family. I'm glad you have such a lovely memory of that trip and have been able to go back to Japan so many times.
, So happy you enjoyed your surprises for your birthday. You do so much for everybody else, you deserve to have a happy birthday dear.
I talked my daughter into going to see The Jungle Book tonight. I really thought it was well done and thoroughly enjoyed it. She thought parts of it were too scary and said Disney has been doing that to her ever since she saw The Little Mermaid when she was a little girl. I tried to tell her there always has to be a villain in a story. She grudgingly agreed but I guess I won't be getting her to go with me to another Disney show. I should know better by now. 😄
hugs Hope you'll feel better soon. :-)
I'm lucky my parents cover my college education so all the money I earn I can spend as I like. So despite being still quite young, I get the chance to travel where I want to. It also helps being so busy with work that I simply don't have time to spend the money I earn... ^^"
Because my mother was so worried, I was really quite calm about it. :-) I'm glad you had fun seeing the Junglebook. :-) I adore Disney movies and always drag my family or Cave along to watch them (not that my family needs much dragging - Mum and my youngest sister also quite adore Disney movies). XD I don't think they're very good role models, of course, but I adore happy-ending-stories. :-)
take your rest hun!
well that was a nice surpise then after work :)
OOh i am 1st for a home again! I will hear if i get it the 18th. -crosses fingers-
Fingers cross this is the home for you =D
It's nice your parents pay for your College =D That let's you save for what ever you want to do with the money you earn =) Hopefully work lets you off when you need it to travel. Sometimes you just need a break & have Fun =)
I love Disney Movies =D I'm glad you got to go see Junglebook & had fun.I always talk my Honey into going & seeing the Movies with me.Gives us something to do =D
Have a Nice Day everyone =D

, it's so great that you can travel while your young. I'm glad my husband and I traveled as much as we could while we were able. Our traveling days are over now but we do live in a beautiful place and people from all over the world come here. That's the next best thing. 😄
I hope this home meets your expectations and you love it!
My husband very much appreciated that my daughter went with me to the Disney movie so he didn't have to . He would have appreciated how this one was made though if he would have gone. Definitely not your usual animation. It's amazing what they can do now.
It's a rainy, dark day today so I'm glad I got all the yard work done yesterday. I won't complain about rain, the way the fires are raging in different places in B.C. and Alberta. I'm sure they would love to see this rain. 80,000 people were evacuated in a town in northern Alberta. They have no idea when they'll be able to go back to their town or whether their homes were saved or not. People have been wonderful about donating for it and no lives were lost which is a blessing.
We miss you . Get well soon dear! ❤
Hope everyone else is well and having a good summer. Keep in touch when you have time.
OMGosh I was reading about those fires =( sounds really bad I hope your safe from the fires.I think they need rain also where the fires are.I have a friend hereon Subeta that went through the smoke from the fires last year in Canada.he lives across the water were the fires were.he said there was smoke on the water & he had to leave his place for awhile so He could find somewhere to go,where he could breathe. We got that smokefrom Canada to Ohio. You could look up in the sky & see the haze of smoke then beyond that was the sky. never seen that before. you stay safe my friend =)I sent a post to him asking if he was safe from these fires this year but he's not on as much here any more so I haven't heard yet =(
to bad we don't live close to each other,I would go see Disney movies with you =D
We Miss you Terry I hope your better soon my friend =)

As always, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :-) hugs
Well, work is pretty flexible so leaving for a week or so isn't a problem, provided I don't do it too often (would be too expensive anyways XD). So long as I only shift my work hours and don't actually take time off, my supervisors won't mind. Well, they wouldn't deny my leave either but if I were to take paid leave, they'd lose about 35 hours of work from me - and considering they all practically fought to get me for as many hours as possible, I do think my preference for shifting hours rather than taking time off agrees quite well with them. XD
I'm glad you got to travel, too. And your hometown sounds lovely. :-)
, we aren't anywhere near the fires. Not even getting smoke from them. Our son-in-law works close to Fort McMurray. He flies in and is there 2 weeks and home here 2 weeks. He flew out just after the fire started. We didn't know if he'd be able to fly out or not. We're relieved that he's home for two weeks now. The company he works for wasn't affected though.
, it sounds like you have the perfect job and it's really great that they appreciate you!
Well, the one who assigned part-timers to projects really knew which tasks I'm best at and assigned me matching jobs. :-) I also feel quite comfortable and content with my job (even during the crazy busy times) so I consider myself quite lucky. :-)
