Kinda feel bad for my negativity but...

Tried my best to sell of my items before the new Shops came up and before my GA ran out this morning but still the current limit is FAR too low imho. Found a Treasure Map Piece just now and cannot put it into my Shop, I cannot quest unless I frag every single item or overflow my Vault with random stuff. Well, and my new Shop still seems to be invisible most of the time, sold 19 items in total so far.

I'm all for changes and improving the site but this change is only giving me headaches at the moment. If there's another limit raise for Shops I hope it's going to be a big one and not just 250 again because that's what you probably get from 2 days of questing. :I

Youre welcome :D. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get that to work. I feel like organizing my Holiday items absed on what comes first in the year (Though new years could be at the end or beginning of the list)

RE the GA/normal debacle: Which shops/galleries will be regarded as GA once the status changes? Will it be by creation date or just random? How will be distinguish between shops and galleries then?

Why do we not get an official guide and COMPLETE (F)AQ, but it is left to users to slowly build a help thread, which naturally is incomplete thanks to the shipload of still unanswered questions.

It wouldn't be logical to be able to switch between gallery and shop. If you could you'd start with a gallery with 2500 items and then you would have a shop with that many items. So I don't think that will be an option anymore.

That thought had occurred to me, but it might be the other way round or simply not that many items in there, then we have to empty the whole shop plus also manually put it all back... (I'm still thinking of eventually larger shops) Whatever: It is among all the facts, that should be made clear BY STAFF IN ONE PLACE.

While it is pretty convenient to now find my own shop at the very top in shop search (while I'd somehow still appreciate to - also - find it in the right slot, if my price is still among the displayed ones), I'm confused, why it kind of seems to happen randomly. What's the mechanics behind whether my priced items show or not?

Emptying and putting stuff in has become a lot easier, so that's not really an issue. Also when you delete a shop, you have an option to move all the items in one shop to another shop. So you don't actually have to do anything.

What do you mean? Your items aren't showing up in shop search?

IF I'm already at my shop limit, then the items of the to be deleted/(changed) shop would have to go into my inventory first :(

In SS sometimes my item is displayed underneath NPC-Shop and Hustler (the your shop/remove thing), sometimes it is not (even though it's a priced item)

Hm. I take it you mean pawn shop not hustler? Well it it's a recurring bug I suggest you send in a ticket to let staff know. I haven't had that problem so far, but I don't have that many items priced :o

I've now made a bug report about the 4 shops/galleries for ordinary accounts on the view shops page. It wasn't announced on the news so might be a mistake.

Your system sounds complicated XD Well in any case I don't think they're going to be making shops/galleries switchable, so you'll have to figure something out.

My plan is, to just eventually have GA-galleries (because decidely bigger) to dump everything in it, that doesn't fit into shops. That's why it would be mandatory to know, how the GA/normal shift will be handled. I would just activate one of my week GAs to dump shops to those galleries, maybe even use the autopricer for a shop with junk items. Other than that I have no use for a GA since they deleted extra Battle Quests and stole 7 months of my GA money.

However, I stopped questing, to avoid too many items. Except for Wizard/Saggi/Shinwa and Quentin (a must for amulets :( ), oh and of course battle, which causes the item overflow.

For these remaining items I now of course need precious extra of my time to sort them out and check: Which go into the vault, which do I have too little, so need to put therm in the shop to keep/price, which can (for the time being and very painful re not rares/super rares, which are "wasted") be fragged, just to get rid of them.

While I have given up hope, that my hoard of crystals will ever be used for what I have been saving them for years, because the items have not been put into the crystal shop yet and probably never will. So I'm sitting on this increasingly huge pile of Crystals with nowhere to go sob.

And, no, my sorting system was in no way complicated - before now. Because I could always dump everything into my shop if I didn't want to bother checking right away. If items are not in my inventory, I don't know every rare, super rare and retired item and I can't see rarities in my edit shop. But because of the new limit, I cannot afford to waste space there. I would appreciate having a search by rarity among our search options. I believe this would be handy for the fraggers with all the new rarities being fragable.

I'm not very happy with the limit either. I mean, I understand their reasoning behind it and all, but I have so many items that are just sitting around now so I guess I'll have to make a second shop, but I really don't want to have to do that. And really, won't that just be the same amount of strain on the servers? What's the difference in server strain between 2 shops with say, 500 items each, versus one shop with 1000 items?

Are ordinary account users supposed to have 4 shops/galleries now?

That's my problem this morning. I'm going through my new shop - very very slowly because hi lag - and moving certain items to a second shop specifically because I need more space for selling. In the past I'd just dump, autoprice, and sell, no server lag because I was never messing with the items. Now, I'm spending all morning futzing with my shop and using up a whole lot more server energy than usual.

I can see how these shops are less of a strain on servers in a coding sense, but I'm poking through mine so often because of the limit that it seems hard to believe it's any better at the moment.

I really wish the limit were just a little higher.

They said they were planning on raising throughout the month after further testing. They've raised it twice so far, so there's no reason to think they don't mean it this time.

Will you be able to make more than 4 stores? I still have old galleries

I hope they do raise it soon. I wanted to put all of my plushie and beanbags in one gallery, but of course, there's not enough room. The other option is to make a gallery for each but then I can't have a gallery for the other things I want, such as my cash item buys ;P so...now I feel like I can't do anything.
