So close, yet so far... Total items in gallery: 42273/73265

I'm bummed that I'm so close to the achievement and can't afford to buy the rest of what I need... but I'll live.

What do you think the chances are that there will be any sort of new unique item total achievement once we get the limits sorted out? I don't want to put all this stuff in its respective collections and then suddenly there is a new achievement... :(

Okay...getting ready for 9000 more people to hate me : / I hate this move as stated even on this thread,but a lot pf people are asking for things that they,the site are not capable of doing with their existing code,I said long ago the all hording achievements should be in the vault,not junking up shops with items that are useless except for the achievements and most would not even want them,so with that said,Subeta bought this on themselves,but if we face reality,it;s time to pay the Devil his due,ie...the new move.. boycotting the site will not help in any way shape or form,only hurt the process in the long run,we have all made mistakes in our lives and and his staff are no exception,so if you are gonna quit ,quit,if you are going to help,help,and with that leaves with stones being throw at him : P

Just want to say (repeat?).. I'm not going to move my gallery. I just don't have the time to do it, nor the motivation.

My stuff can sit in the defunct "legacy" stores for as long as it takes for staff to come up with a solution to moving it out. I have about 40k items (17k unique) in my store... I know people with a lot more but I'm not going to spend hours (days?) moving everything.

Will be disappointed if staff can't think of anything and instead say: "Well, bad luck, if you don't move your stuff by X we'll delete it".

Only reason I played Subeta really was to collect things.. and putting it all in a gallery was the easiest way. I didn't like feeding, reading, sorting etc, because it spread the collection all over my account.. having it in my gallery was easy.

I hope the other big gallery people (hell, mine isn't even that big) don't bother moving their galleries too, it's not on us to move all these items..

I have over 40 k in mine,so I can feel your pain,I stated all my concerns early in this thread,but now it's like beating a dead horse , there are or I should say they don't have the capability to continue on like this with their present script : / Right,wrong or indifferent,that's the facts of the matter.

It's not about the hoards of 40 000 items to me. This has always been silly to me, and we all knew this wouldn't last forever.

The issue is the absurdly low limit for items in shops.

If anyone think 250 items in a shop is a perfectly fine amount, they're either new to the site (have been here less than six months) or are completely out of touch with how the site is played.

It's a different issue for lots of people,yours being one, and I am not sticking up for anyone here,but when you are testing something new,you do a stress test,which means you start out low,and continue to increase to you see what your system can withstand : / and being as you have little quote there,I think that I'll put one.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I just realized that being forced to create a new shop means I lose out on my shop's stats. I've used the same shop the entire time I've been on Subeta, and I'm kind of proud of what I've accomplished:

I'm going to be sad if I lose all of that history. :( Ideally, I'd still love to see a way to convert existing shops to the new system so nothing is lost. If there's really zero chance of that happening, is there any possibility of having a way to transfer those stats over?

Like , I am not bothering to move my 14k items in my gallery. Maybe my minions gallery, but not the other one. Quite possibly, I may not bother with either. But I will be royally pissed if something happens to our old galleries in the future...

Your stress test has to be done with numbers that are realistic.

Using 250 items for the stress test is irrelevant, because few users have less than 250 items in their shop. Why? Items are numerous and plentiful.

It's going to be useless data, because it's not normal gameplay numbers. It's far below normal gameplay numbers, and testing should focus on numbers that are realistic, not just theory.

I've made a 4th shop and put some holiday items in it. I'll now wait and see what happens when the new system goes live and I no longer have a GA. Looks like it's the only way to find out because staff haven't answered my questions about the extra shops.

If your GA runs out, your stuff vanishes and becomes inaccessible until you buy another GA. :D

(at least until someone gets around to fixing that)

Do we actually already see and can we use the test shops? Since a special shop search link was mentioned. If only the few testers with so little stock can use them, how is this a stress test then?

Yeah, that might just be because the shops are currently inaccessible to anyone who doesn't have a GA. And her GA ran out. So I don't think it's a very clear indication of how things will work in the future.

Since I started on Subeta, when stocking my shop I have never worried about how many items were in it. Then again I automatically frag anything worth less than 5K so I don't have millions of items to sell. But I do not want to have to keep checking how many items are in my new shop and having to throw stuff into the vault to sell later because the shop is full and trying to remember what items to stock at a later time. What a pain that would be. :( That being said, I'm also on a couple other sites and one of them has a super low shop limit. I gave up selling stuff there long ago because of that.
