Honestly, and I don't speak for all battlers but I can speak for myself and I've seen many other users post this in the past, a lot of battlers just keep their battle pet(s) in the resort 365 days a year. Because a lot of the battlers are day in and day out battlers who can't be bothered to worry about if they have to feed their pet or not. As long as the resort fed pet's enough to keep them full, I don't see this being a huge issue.
OR, they're battlers who actively also feed their pet(s).. which in case they shouldn't mind if their pet is getting hungrier faster. Honestly, I've always been of the mindframe that battling SHOULD (also) make your pet hungry (burning calories and whatnot)... so maybe that's something that could be considered too.
But I'm glad y'all are open to suggestions of things to do with items. I'm definitely not against this change (I do think the limits between non-ga/ga need to be closer than currently slated, but that's a horse of another color) but I don't think vaults becoming the dump site instead of shops/galleries should be the solution. Here's to hoping more means of removing items from the system/places to put them become a thing.
Yeah we do have a ton of currencies, but I'd rather see another currency than tons and tons of excess items sitting around with no outlet (other than Quentin). It could even be non-sellable currency (like questpoints). I could see that being awesome for ToTing especially, kinda like when you're a kid and you trade the candy you don't want for the candy someone else doesn't want?
"Limits will go up to x and y once beta testing is complete"
Seems like it would save a lot of unnecessary anguish, IF that is in fact the plan
Yea....that first girl I quoted or mentioned, hit the nail on the head, even we talked about that long ago...and you're probably right, the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back : /
However, I am more concerned about my galleries.... Gourmand stock has 5,748 foods that I need to feed Tziety, while Minion Park has 2,617 minions :(
[edit]
I agree with . I think some sort of timeline listing approximate item increases will be very helpful. Also, yeah, people that spent sp on additional shops/galleries should be compensated.
- I'm still terribly upset about the non-GA and GA gap. It is definitely unfair to users who don't have the money to spend on a pet site.
My back broke long ago, I've just been laying sprawled on the floor this whole time....Hope - The most evil emotion xD
I've read through the FAQs, but I still stand by what others have said - please don't start with such a low number for unique items, but start, rather, with 2500 and 5000 unique and let us keep all shops/galleries that we've paid for (instead of changing it to a lowly 3 for regular users and 6 for GAs). It would at least temporarily soothe people until things are fixed and working more smoothly.

I know : ( and all the effort you put in your account, all those minions, the money you spent, real money, you have to read that girls post, really you do...she hit the nail on the head,a lot of us have been through this before, wasted time and money : / I ain't starting over on anoter site, this is the last time I get fooled
That's why I mostly just play on my DS these days, No false promises and bs, does what it says on the packet and you know what your getting :p I haven't put much real money into subeta for like a year thankfully!
How about actually moving the galleries to a separate system from shops???!
Most of what I've seen is in regards to user SHOPS. Are galleries going to end up being different??
I really hope so. I don't think galleries should have limits. Shops are different (though the starting limit is still way too low, even if it's eventually going to increase) from galleries......
It looks as if staff will go through with this and I have to ask - will we be able to REORDER CATEGORIES? I've suggested that many many times.......
Another thing, IF galleries DO end up as a separate thing I hope we do not have to recreate our galleries? In any case with the current situation there's no way I am moving out my 14k items in separate galleries. Nor am I moving out any of my minions in my minions gallery.
And you are missed,a lot,did I mention I was coming to London ? :D oh ,to keep on topic,I don't like this change, actually I don't like a lot of the changes,do this don't do that, can't you read the sign
You mean like, liar liar, pants on fire, nose is longer than a telephone wire :F
Are we allowed to talk ? is there a sign saying that we can't,I can't afford another warning,I mean I got 2 for telling one joke : /
You got a warning? For a joke? What is this, Neopets? :o runs away before I get a warning too
No,I got 2 for the same joke.....; ) hahahaha runs away with you ❤️ That was before the new rules, now I'd probably get 4 : /
Can someone address what exactly is going to happen when the new shops go live and all the old shops no longer show up in shop search? Aren't hundreds (thousands???) of items going to be completely unavailable until users transfer them over, or what? Because my understanding is we can take our time to move things over, but no one will be able to purchase from old user shops.
Unless this is still something that you guys are planning to do eventually, but I really don't know because I have yet to see any staff actually respond to user comments about this in particular.
