Maybe! Someone at level two needs to cook some cookies and see what happens. :) I haven't done that yet, though.

Interesting that cookies give about the same exp as the other recipes. These were my results for successful recipes at level 2:

whoopie pie - 17 exp, 21 exp respectively chocolate cake - 21 exp

Although the previous successful whoopie pie and chocolate cake got me 48 exp total, so it seems as though exp shifts around a little bit randomly.

You're right, Dark Matter Whoopie Pie only takes 30 minutes to make.

Maybe experience is proportional to the time it takes and how many times you have made it? There has to be some science to it.

i may be doing something wrong but i spent over 3 ml to make maple cookies twice and it says i am only half thru the first level and i can not bake anything but maple cookies is that how it is supposed to work. the most expensive ingr. was vanilla extract i refreshed about 50x at the donation center and did not see any so i paid 2.5ml.

The at the Millionaire's Center contains all the ingredients needed for Maple Cookies, extract included, and costs 1 mil. That should be cheaper than paying inflated prices in user shops.

Level 1 bakers are only able to cook Maple Cookies, that's correct. It does take a few correct recipes before you level up so keep cooking!

If you check out the help page for baking it tells you:

A word of advice, baked goods like cookies cook quicker but give less experience when baking. A nice loaf of bread might take you a bit more time to cook, but the experience reward is worth it!

So yes, things that cook longer give you more experience. :)

Also keep in mind, the higher up you get in levels the more experience you need to level up. Like level 5 requires more experience than level 3, etc. That's why those numbers you posted above aren't completely accurate.

This might have already been mentioned, so if so I apologize for the redundancy, but:

When I go to the bakery screen, all I have is a blank page with a picture of Fantine and the buttons under her. I click on the Help button, but nothing comes up. I picked up the starter pack, but haven't been able to bake anything...

Is there something I have to do first to get the baking page to function? Anywhere I have to click, or something I need in my inventory? I'm just confused. :(

Did you open up the baking kit in your inventory? That has the items you need for the maple leaf cookies. C:

Aha! I totally forgot that part. xD Yeah, that's probably it.

I saw someone in the news thread say they couldn't get the bakery to work for them until they twiddled with their custom CSS. If you take away your custom CSS for a bit, maybe that might help? You should see a few rows of faded cake and pie pictures, with the maple cookies fully colored and clickable.
