i think you can see all the ingredients, you just can't make things beyond your current level? like, right now i can see i have everything i need to make banana nutmeg chai bread (a flour + a sugar + nutmeg + banana + yeast, etc), but i don't have the option to bake it since it's way beyond my peasant baking skills

Yeah is right, you can see the ingredients for all. Just cant click the 'make' button on any you arent the correct level for yet :)

Im already working up a list of each recipe and all. Just may not have it up until later in the day as I need to sleep/might go see deadpool xD So itll happen before it hits midnight for sure to make everything accessible in one place.

I burnt the first two attempts and succeeded on the third. A successful batch of maple leaf cookies got me 25% on the level meter. Not the best odds..

Everything but the cookies are still grayed out so I guess its back to the DC to hunt for items to try another batch.

I like this it will give new food for pets. I have baked cookies twice now and burned them both times.But my pets say they like them so I will try to make them again when I snag the right items.Now it is three times I have burnt them.

Ive burnt three times so far, Im hopeful Ill get the items I need to try again xD It seems we will have to make them correctly a few times before the next level. So itll be a slow starting process. But I think once we get to lvl 2 it should be less burning hururh

Yeah Im in the same boat xD Its more a waiting game of rs than actually making the item so far. Im determined not to spend millions for the first recipe.

The way it works is that things on your level are difficult to make because you're "new" to them. If you are level 8 making a level 2 recipe, you'll have a far less burn chance! Basically, things on your level are a bit of a challenge, and the higher you get, the easier lower level stuff becomes. :)

Finally got to level two and made a chocolate cake naturally [item2=Burned Cake] I burn it after the 38 minutes it needed. But oh gosh everything wanted Vanilla Extract is not making this easy.

The timer was 38 minutes for the chocolate cake.

Time is 38 minutes 30 minutes for Dark Matter Whoopie Pie.

I'm not sure it matters how many of each thing you make. I've had two successes so far on level two and yet have only managed 41% completion, so it looks like five (successful) recipes needed for level two at the minimum, and rosepetal's tried the cookies and gets about the same amount of experience - 12-21 exp per item (so far).

Edit: And three successful recipes got me to 58% (one choc cake and two dark whoopie pies). This is...odd math.

Is it possible that the first category items alter the cook time?
