Magus blushed a little at the hug, but warmed as if he had had a lot of butterbeer. "Fanks, Aria," he said quietly, "You didn't, its still today," he said sticking his tongue out playfully.

Aria clapped her hands and looked at Magnus () with a confused expression on her face, like she'd lost something. "For some reason I have all my days mixed up; I'm crazy lost when there's no school!" Aria exclaimed while blushing and giggling. "I'm glad that I did not miss it though. Are we doing anything with mom and dad to celebrate?" She asked.

"Of course, I'll be happy to help you. Any help in Astronomy or Herbology would be wonderful. I'm thinking about joining the herbology club next term for some extra practice. I'll make some cookies and we can have a study session whenever."

The topic changed to Millie's boyfriend, "His name is Emmett. He goes to Durmstrang. We write a lot of letters to each other and we usually see each other during breaks when I go to my grandparents in Berlin. I believe he and his family are coming to Greece with us during the summer holidays. I'm really excited for it." Millie paused for a moment and continued. "We're not fully a couple because my parents think I'm too young and I need to focus on school work. I'm okay with it because they want me to do well. So we just write back and forth a lot."

She could tell Magnus was uncomfortable talking about Emmett so she dropped him. She wasn't entirely sure what to say when he showed off his scars from being attacked. She gave him a sympathetic look and said, "You could always tell people you were bitten by a shark while saving babies from a ship wreck". After she said it, she wondered if that was insensitive. She went to grab another gnome and it bit her hand. "Ouch you little bugger". She thought about drop kicking it but she thought better and whirled it around and tossed it as far as she could.

She turned to Aria, "Thanks." she said with a warm smile. "One of my biggest fears is failure so I try to get all my work done as soon as possible."

"No worries," Magnus said chipperly. "Yeah, must've forgot to tell you. We are meetin' 'em at the Three Broomsticks for supper."
He laughed at Millie's suggestion and shook his head. "Nah, I ain't embarrased about me scars. Its really not a big deal. But getting them lessened 'elps me move better and all." ((occ: really sorry about the delay and shortness of this. Not been feeling well.))

((OOC: hugs I hope you feel better soon! no worries in the late/slow, it's summer time so my extended family members have all been visiting and keeping me busy too. ))

Millie smiled. "That's good. And there's no reason to be ashamed. It's part of who you are."

(ooc - no worries. Feel better! I have a lot of things to take care of at the moment myself)

Sauvage clapped her hands together in excitement at Millie's mention of joining the Herbology club. "Oh, zat would be great! I know zat we would all love to 'ave you. It's so nice to spend some time wis zee flowers and ozer plants. Very peaceful and all."

"I'm really excited. I really want to get more active in other clubs and really enjoy my time at Hogwarts. I'm sure it's really fun"

"I love Herbology! Ain't much better than digging in the dirt, its a great work out too. If anyone of you need some 'elp lemme know."

Aria popped up from her daydreaming at the mention of digging in dirt. "I love planting things," she said with a smile. "I don't care as much for getting dirty, but I don't mind it if it's easy to wash off!" Aria smiled at Millie and Magnus.

Just when Aria had finished speaking, Dax flew overhead. Without effort, he landed gracefully on the ground beside Aria and rubbed up against her leg. Unable to resist Dax's affection, she bent down and rubbed his ears.

"Herbology is great," her brother said brightly. "I really like the dangerous plants the best!"

(ooc: I'm unsure of what other animal/creature to do. if anyone has a suggestion, please lemme know. Otherwise, we may just stop at the gnomes and chat and gnome toss until the new term starts :))

"I like gardening too. Well, I like the end results of gardening" Millie said with a smile.

(ooc- Which ever is fine. We could do a lesson on House Elves. Sorry I haven't responded before now. I have a horrible kidney stone. Blah)
