I have an open slot and you're next on my list! Can you give me some more details about what kind of scarf you'd like? Specifically...

• What color would you like the main scarf to be?
• I assume we want the chili pepper applique to be red with a green stem?
• How wide/long does the scarf need to be? Keep in mind the larger it is, the more I'll have to charge for yarn and shipping cost.
• Do you want an infinity scarf (in a loop), or just a straight one?
• optional Is there any particular stitch/pattern you want me to use for the main scarf?

So he loves green. If the main color could be green. The applique should be red with a little green stem. I just want them like on the bottom of the scarf and not like all over. If it could be a straight scarf. I am just trying to think the dimensions of a normal scarf are. If the yarn you use could be soft, I made a scarf for him with the economy blend from walmart and he uses that as a car wiper -.- The stitching/pattern could be up to you.

Sounds good! Let's talk a little about costs.

I'm planning to use Impeccable or Caron Simply Soft brand yarn, which are both relatively cheap, but soft enough for me to wear. I'll probably use 2 skeins for a normal-sized straight scarf, which puts the cost at about $5~6. Let me know if you'd prefer even softer options (like baby-safe), or if you have any specific shade of green in mind. Baby yarn or specific color may end up costing in the $10 range or more. If you're not picky, I'll buy whatever the cheapest and/or I think looks the best.

U.S. shipping will probably be around $4 one way or the other.

And finally, since this is a project with higher out-of-pocket expense for me, would you considering paying for at least the yarn and shipping cost in USD?

I was planning to pay in USD for the whole thing since it is a physical item. Just tell me how much and I'll send it via paypal. Adrian loves pretty much all shades of green so I am not picky. I did decide though if on the bottom it could be 5 chili peppers. So like a total of 20 the appliques so that on each side of the bottom portion gets 5 peppers. Our aniversary is may 5th which is 5/5 and the chili pepper is our matching tattoo.

Yay! Hard to tell from the pic, but would that tan color you used for the last one look good with that rusty orange for the shell? I'm thinking that or the brown might be nice for second snail. I'd be happy with whichever you think makes a better combo! :)

The orange is a bit bright, and the brown one looks much more snail-shell-like to me, so I think I'll go with that one. :)

The cost will of course be the same as last time, $4 or 400CSC. I'll get started and keep you posted!
