Hi, you're next on my list to do! Are you still interested in this beret in grey or black? If so, I have these yarns that you can choose from.

Can you send me a measurement of your head for me to determine how long the inside of the brim needs to be? Everyone wears their beret a little differently, so please take a tape measure around your head at where you'd like the brim to fall. I'll err a little on the larger side and sew a drawstring inside the brim so it can be taken in a little if needed.

The cost estimate will be $3 for the yarn and $3 for domestic shipping, so 600CSC will be the minimum I'll accept for this, although a tip for my time would be greatly appreciated.

This one was the only pattern that I could find that gave full permission. I'm not completely sure about that first link you sent. The author says they "don't claim exclusive rights", so it might be okay...?

Otherwise, I can also work out a snail that looks like the second or third image you posted without a pattern. Those two look fairly simple.
