To me its simple, (at least in theory, in practice its a fail to me))

But something like this, but with just the 'mountain' on one end, and the eye at the other, and NVCR in the middle (using the same general colors in the picture)

So does the octopus come apart? D:

And yeah, that works! Would you be able to do it with just like, flat crochet eyes or something, instead of the shiny plastic eyes?

Since the yarn is free, I'll be only charging the shipping of ~$3. Any tip for my time would be appreciated though. :) Thank you!

Sure thing! I can make the eyes out of yarn instead of plastic. Is this to make it more child-safe?

Cost estimate: I can make this out of existing yarn but I have to buy a brown, so it'll be $2. It's a little larger, so shipping will be $4~5 to any U.S. domestic address. I can take CSC equivalent instead of USD and any tip would be appreciated, but not required. If this sounds good, I'll put you down for the slot, and go buy some yarn. :)

[edit] Whoops I forgot to answer your question. Yes the octopus one also comes apart! Unfortunately I don't have a picture of its pieces, since I already gave it to a friend for Christmas. ^.^

I'm sorry. I don't know how to make arbitrary shapes with crochet and I'm going to have to pass on your request. Have a good day and good luck finding what you're looking for.

Aaaah, whenever you have more slots again, could you make a bird similar to Kronos's? You can choose the colours! ;3;

(or a whale...or maybe I should commission a whale as well IDK I LOVE YOUR STUFF ;3;)

It's to make it more pet safe on the off chance that they get at it :( But hopefully they will not!

Wait, are you only charging yarn and shipping and not like, the labor of making the plushie!? That seems very unfair D: I will for sure tip you. And I can pay in USD :)

How big are the octopi? Would I possibly be able to order one of those too and combine them in the same shipping box? :)

Thank you! ^.^ I'll keep you posted!

Looks like I'm full up right now, but I'll let you know when I open up again! :) And I'm just gonna leave this here... ;)

The ball of the octopus is about 6in wide, and the tentacles are another 7~8in. Both of these are large projects, so I'd prefer to limit them to one per slot so other people could have a chance to have things made for them, if that's alright? :) I seem to have already built up a waitlist.

This is my hobby, and I'd like to keep the prices as low as possible so I can make things for everyone who like what I do. ^.^

My second slot just filled. Can I let you know when I open up again?

Totally understand! :) Mm, that elephant is cute but not quite doing it for me. And 's talk about whales made me curious and I found this - would that be doable instead? Or too complicated/large a project?

Unfortunately that pattern is knitting, not crochet. I can't knit a stitch, I'm afraids. I also ran a search for similar crochet patterns and came up with nothing, so I don't think I can do it.

I'm afraid my slots are also full at the moment, do you mind if I put you on my wait list? Feel free to keep brainstorming what you might like. :)

So I was digging around yesterday and found a whale I like even better.

Also, you two are cracking me up. xD

I have one open slot, and you're first in line for it! This is the bird that I made for : link Would you like me to make one for you as well, or would you rather have a whale/narwhal? :)
