He wasn't even sure how everything happened but it was fast. Sam fell and he rushed to her side but Gaia had her whisked away before he could get so much as a "are you..." out of his mouth. And then Paddy was gone looking at dresses. He stood in the middle of the floor with a perplexed look on his face.

Paddy laughed at the sight of stuck between the puffy gowns. "Hang on, I'll give you a paw," she said, pushing the largest fluffy gown to one side. "No wonder I couldn't spot it, in between those!"

"Magnus I know you are just standing there!"Gaia was giggling knowing her hair was stuck in some lace sequin gown. " is that the one you were looking for?"

"I'm not even going to attempt to use magic to get your hair untangled," Paddy laughed, "I don't want to be responsible for your hair looking awful for the Ball." She looked at the gown Gaia was holding, "Yes! That's the one!" Paddy took the from Gaia, pleased that it was long enough for her to feel comfortable, and hopefully not so long that she'd trip over it, "just need to find some shoes and a hood.... unless I just say the wolf ate the hood of course."

"Dunno what to do..." he said in a small, shy voice.

( ) "I would think so! I think the hood adds to it!" Gaia turned around to Magnus "Are you okay?" Gaia had no idea what was happening with her friend but his shyness around her and Paddy was kind of alarming.

"Dresses...." he said finally, "makeup... girls soundin' like hyenas...Don't know anything 'bout fashion really... What's a bloke supposed ta do 'ere?" He hoped that explained how out of place he felt. He wasn't particularly helping, more like sitting and taking up space.

Sam came back out carrying a bundle of fabric, Still somewhat red faced, she now wore a plain skirt over her slacks and sweater. "Well I'd better take you up on those lessons soon if I don't want to have a sore keister for the ball." She patted the dress as she tucked it under her arm. "No harm done this time, but I thought I'd wear something simple until I learned how not to fall down in it." Looking around the busy hall, she carefully gathered up Magnus' painting and added, "Wanna go somewhere where I'm not likely to kill any innocent bystanders?"

Paddy hoped it wasn't the after-effects of the full moon making Magnus so quiet, but hearing his reply made her breathe a sigh of relief. "I haven't a clue on fashion either, so you're not alone. Least you have a date for the Ball, right now looks like I'll be going on my own."

Poppy walked over to the cosmetics table and carefully selected two items.

"Do you like this eyeshadow palette for your Rapunzel makeup?"

"Snow White is a good one! This lipstick such a perfect red."

"I probably won't be charming my skin," Beth chuckled. "I still haven't found the right shade of lipstick. Nothing screams Snow White to me," she told .

"If you need any help, feel free to ask me!" Beth told Judy ().

Beth held the lipstick in her hand and rubbed it across her left palm. "Perfect! You have a great eye for makeup, Poppy ()! Thanks so much for helping me!"

"You'll 'ave fun, Paddy," he said sounding very positive. Sam arrived back in a simple skirt but still looked pretty. "All right." He pulled a skirt from the pile, a pair of heals and pearl string necklace. "It's time for dance class. Nah, think positive. You'll be fine. Now give me one mo, and we can go ta that corner over there. Ain't no one over there and if anyone wants to join they can." He ducked behind a screen pulled the skirt over his trousers, added the heals and pearls and then stepped back out. "There," he said, "now ya aren't the only one in a skirt." He headed the short distance to the corner he mentioned. "First, no need to feel self consious. Most people are probly looking at me at the mo. Now second thing, try to envision yourself somewhere relaxing. Your own space. Maybe a desert field and you are comfortable. Close your eyes and feel your body move. Think nothin' about no one. 'Ere, watch..." He closed his eyes, thought of his most comfortable place and remembered the girl parts of a few dances. Then he began to gracefully move around as if he was waltzing with another person. He allowed the skirt to twirl and even mocked a dip at the end before he finished. "I'll take off the skirt an' show ya the steps again, but why don't you try it and just feel your body move and make your own steps."

Gaia noticed Beth () trying on the lipstick Poppy suggested "That is a great color! It will pop for sure!" Magnus had taken Sam to a corner... was he wearing a skirt? "Sam you can always just go crazy and we can have a dance circle!" Gaia started booping her booty around to a tune in her head. ( )

"There is a lot of makeup. I found some lipstick I really like but I'm not sure what else I should look at."

Aderyn glanced at all of the makeup as her friends all picked pieces to go with their outfits, considering what was on the table. She picked up a couple of bottles of glitter, deliberating on the colors.

"Would any of these work well for Tinkerbell?"
