Had a great super bowl party last night. My boss from the job I left in December is now leaving the same university, so I hope they are able to keep everything together!

BUT. We are going to go camp for 3 nights and hit up the NY faerie festival with all the girls and my mother and father in law, and my brother in law and his new wife. And apparently we're all going to dress up, which should be fun. I'm thinking dryad for myself, and the girls all designed their costumes the other night. YAY for having a professional seamstress in the house haha.

Good morning everyone. Sorry to hear so many people haven't been feeling well. Hope you're feeling better by now. I haven't been sick but, ugh, my allergies have been bothering me so bad since like December. Winter is usually when they calm down (when everything freezes) but, with the warm weather we're having, they're worse than ever. I'm sitting here and my eyes are just watering nonstop.

We had a fun superbowl night, then a lazy day yesterday. Tom broke one of his top/front teeth a few weeks ago, and just finally went yesterday to have it pulled. The dentist gave him a retainer-like thing as two fake teeth (he had another top/front one knocked out a couple months ago). So, I spent most of my day yesterday just chilling with him and making sure he was OK. He was in a lot of pain and doesn't have prescription coverage to get his pain meds filled, but seems to be handling it OK. Lucky he has off today to recover some more before he has to go back to work tomorrow. I'm very happy that he got these two teeth fixed though, even if it's just a temporary solution. It's tough not having dental insurance though.

Anyway, enough about that. Hope everyone is doing OK :)

Oh allergies, horrible things they are, hope they settle down for you soon 💜 We have a bunch of homoeopathic meds for ours, but thankfully ours aren't set off by nature, so it's usually possible to avoid a flare up in the first place Ouch, that sounds miserable for him, here's hoping it gets better ;)

Morning all! Hoping to finally be on the mending side of this cold thing. My fever was back last night, but I didn't cough all night. This morning I'm back to coughing with no fever. Gah! I'm ready to be done with this. I might go to the Dr today...everything up until now pointed to it being viral so there wasn't much point but this morning I'm thinking I might have moved on to something else that medicine might actually help. Either way, I want it gone so my son can come back from his Nana's cause I miss him terribly.

And my once favorite item was the Bufy Plushie. It used to be called by the right name, Buffy Plushie, until staff started naming items similar to what they are and not with the real name. I think they could've came up with something better for the plushie, like they do for the character homage rag dolls.

edit: And I'm surprised to see how much they've increased in price. I remember them being as cheap as like 200k or even lower. Someone is probably hoarding them.
