The update is much appreciated here! I'm glad to know the gifts I sent didn't vanish into the ether. (I couldn't remember when I'd given them, but I'm not too fussed if they end up anonymously gifted. ;)) Thanks to the Subeta staff for all their hard work in resolving the issues. Mistakes are made, but we're all human, and at least we can say we made it through and into another awesome year! Gifting the achievement to those who weren't able to visit Melody on the 31st due to the downtime was really keen. You guys always look after your users. ❤

~Thanks for the update...I was having issues into the 26th getting page to load for Melody. I was not home for a chunk of that day.. I was getting white screen most times I tried to load it. I don't have it at all for that day. I suspect i was not the only one.

ahh thank goodness i was the closest ive ever been to the all days of december achievement in my 7 years here (i always forget a day) and when i came back and the site was down for 2 days i freaked out

I posted this on another thread but I have not seen it answered anywhere and everything that has been said still makes it seem to me like this might be a manual entry sort of deal instead of automated.

I have a question about this process, and I hope I'm just overthinking this!
If someone has to go through and manually reinsert all the items given out for a span of five days to about 1000 users, that's a lot of items. That is also a lot of room for mistakes.
Is there any checks in place here? What happens if someone types in the wrong item (for example beanbag vs plushie or forgets to add "sticker"), the completely wrong item (ie shoe or shirt from a set with the same theme name), or just misspell an item altogether? Would we get a broken item in our inventory to know something went wrong or would just nothing happen?
Without a list of what was given we have no way to match that up with what we actually receive.
Manually inputting at the minimum hundreds of items is just ripe for typing errors and I'm honestly worried we won't know if there is a mistake.
