I keep checking the Event tab on the challengers page every now and again to see if Hydra's ugly face has shown up. Still nothing. xD

My goal this war, as crazy as it may be, is to try and deal the final blow to Hydragellos. It's the "15 minutes of fame" I've always wanted to experience in these global boss fights.

If you look to the west, you can see a Hydragellos just cresting the horizon. Taking into account its mass and velocity, we can estimate that it will reach Subeta by about six pm. Prepare your defenses, battlers!

- Problem is, only one of my T10s can equip that many freezing scrolls, the other however, is nearly fast enough to avoid crits (if I spend her EXP) so maybe she will stand a chance with fewer freezes. I keep forgetting that the slayer helps with healing against the gelatins too. After I finish all my pets with the golem, I think I'll give it a try (assuming there are any left)

Of... of course I will. There's absolutely no way I would barricade my shop door and hide underneath a big pile of shields. No way. Not me.

I'm rooting for the Hydragellos. Come take me away and end me before I spend 12 hours in one position, covered in chip crumbs and my shirt soaked in my tears, my tongue so dry and I don't know if it's from the MSG in the chips or the salt in my tears that I drink for hydration.

Was able to get another tier of the Gelatin Golem achievement. I've been pre-occupied this summer because of grad student responsibilities.

I hope that I get a chance at the Hydragellos instead of missing it by going to a yard sale, or something.

I've heard whisperings that there will be two Hydragellos this time, one after another. If I were the type of person to build an underground shelter -- which I of course am not, because I intend to lead the charge against these hideous gelatinous monsters like the true hero I am -- I would be holed up in there. Underneath a big pile of shields.

edit: at this point I don't know if I like waves better or just one solid fight. I would still like timed smaller waves where the top x of each wave gets their prize, with immediate results so you know if you should participate in the next wave or not. hope I don't fall asleep in the middle of this one but I'll push as much as I can
