I added a 5th parch to my weapons because I got him into the red then got chain frozen to death a few times xD

Smart thinking not bringing in Mecha. Going by what Purge said, the scroll he has scales with stats so boosting really helps no one but him. Very clever thinking. I think I'll avoid bringing in my mecha next battle. Good luck with your other wins.

until you get the scroll curse, then if you're not blocking ice, you're kinda screwed.

true but it's still better than nothing after using all other possibilities (chain scroll freeze that is?)

true, I like the freeze proc with unstable fairy, and the extra ice defense is nice.

I think the 5th parched mod is really helping me.

I don't think he gets around, I think his name should be Big Icy Bully Butthead. I dk, maybe he DOES get around -- and then never calls…

I think of it as more of the insult sense rather than the actual he gets around sense.

He's older than the dirt he sleeps in. :P
