I think it would work best as a "once a summer" thing tbh. There's not a lot going on in the summer and it would be nice to see something fun take the place of the (probably now defunct) reading drive. Plus it gives the staff plenty of time to design NPCs, outfits, food, etc.

Wow. This is a good idea; I feel like something wonderful could come from this. You can have notably fun events when it comes to Renaissance Faires. Since we have a bunch of stuff coming up that ends with Vesnali, Mothers, and Fathers Day, it could be in August, maybe?

How often this would occur is something to be left to the Subeta team, but I think it's an awesome idea! If it happens more than once a year, I would love to see some themes. Perhaps themes coinciding with the seasons?

I always like shops with special currency, where you have to play games or participate in events to earn it. There could also be a costume contest, in the same vein as the EpiCon costume contest.

I'd love to see new NPC's, but I also think it would be just as fun to see current NPC's outfitted for the event, running stalls that make sense with their typical roles.

This is an awesome idea, I support it! I love the Renaissance Faire, and can't go every year. Being able to do something like that on Subeta would be awesome! runs around in circles Yes, please make it so!

I'm so happy to see all the support for this! I'd also like to mention that during the English Renaissance the suffrage and equal rights movements started and that this event would be an excellent time to pay homage to this, perhaps with a statue(s) or a book(s) about it? Or maybe one of the booths has some information on Subeta's changing attitudes?

Super glad to see this topic is still getting some love! Husband and I are going to the renfaire next weekend, so i'll be coming back with some more ideas. Meanwhile, I think I need to try and sketch up some more NPCs in garb.

Love this idea. Sounds like fun and it would be nice to see our lovely park not so empty.
