I love the idea of putting something in Peka Park sometimes! I would absolutely love to see a ren faire sometime in the summer when there aren't any near events.

Medieval foods! Renfaire style tends to turkey legs and roasted potatoes, both of which are New World foods but hey, it's the renfaire, chow down! Dare you to read this list of goodies at one particular faire and not get hungry.

Actual Medieval foods! Contrary to what some think, most people in the middle ages didn't heavily spice their foods to cover the taste of rotting meats, they might not have had refrigerators but they knew how to preserve meat by salting and pickling it. Spices were for showing off.

Let's throw some books in the mix! Medieval cookbooks, notation parchment (isn't this gorgeous?) Bestiarys!

That's a lot of exclamation points but I'm kinda excited about what could be done.

If not a quarterly thing, I would love to see fairs at least twice a year. Summer fair and Winter fair or something like that! I super missed Peka-Boo this summer. I was really looking forward to blowing sP on the food carts for my gourmand pet.

I really think this should at least be a yearly event, or rotate every other year with the music festival. I seriously missed Peka-Boo this year, and the park has so much untapped potential.

This sounds like a great idea. I just went to my local ren faire and had tons of fun. I honestly wished I had my subeta wardrobe in real life so I could use my items for a wicked costume, haha.

One of my favorite video games is Fable 2, which is set to take place during the Renaissance. I totally support this.

I've always thought of how cool it would be to have seasonal events on the Peka Park (yes judge me for taking this idea from the sims 3). I don't know how distinct the seasons are from each other in Peka, but there could be 4 versions of the park art for Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Summer would be featuring the already existing Peka-Boo (it's in summer right?). That could end up like a lot of work, so the content of said events could range from just shops/stands to something more elaborate like the battle of the bands.

The festivals don't necessarily need to be new. Maybe a Morostide faire on Peka? Vesnali? Luminaire? Would love to see a Subeta version of the Winter Lights Festival on Luminaire :)

I'd love to see this idea implemented in some sort of way, also leaning more towards having it as a summer event or something. Maybe next year if there isn't already something planned?

Monthly definitely isn't a good idea...staff has enough on their plates with the current run of annual events and everything else...but maybe having it every other year with a different theme each time? Can always use magic to influence the local (park) weather if the theme is more seasonal. That way we can have other summer events in the off years and we won't get bored with it.

The concept of a Ren Faire overall is great though. Got my support!

Definitely not monthly, but as proud member of the SCA/a Rennie in general I would love to see this event! Just a week in the summer or something would be perfect, something set up like Pennsic or any of the numerous Ren Faires that go on all over the country during the summer! Co-signed!
