If you really like the magikarp one it's quite possible to colour it to fit one of Subeta's own koi/fish minions, just to put that out there. Anyway, there you have a couple of snails & a traditional Japanese teacup. And I'll get started on the sumo version asap! ^^

Oh, and actually I quite like the idea of him being blind. I think it'd give him a natural appreciation of textures & flavours, which would go along with the type of character you're going for!

Here is a ref for the hanbok like the one on the right but no hat please I want him to look noble/happy and cute with a sort of grin on his face He is not a young dog but he is not to old either.

- The struggle has been real for me figuring this out! The teacup is perfect and I love the flower pattern and petals floating on the side!

Now the hard part is picking the snail or carp/koi idea! I think I'm going to go with a snail right now but don't lose that carp drawing cause I'll likely be back for it :) There is something magical about that pose that I am enamored with!

I think the Blinky sketch is the one I like the most so I would like that one to be the 3rd image :)

Hello! This guy put up somewhat of a fight when it came to getting the style down, but after the third (or fourth?) restart I think I've got it figured. Because you wanted greater focus on the brushwork his shading is a bit more modest. In the end, I hope it's the kind of thing you hoped for! Please let me know (:

He looks very cute! It looks like he is wearing the female version though because he has no pants Im not trying to be picky the style is perfect just what I was looking for but for some reason I keep seeing a dress skirt . In the sketch it looked like pants.
