It's a bit rough (still trying to place the wings just right), but just as a general idea, how's this? Back turned makes for sort of hesitant/distrusting feel, the pose isn't to dynamic (falling into the calm personality), but looking back gives a sense of still wishing to seek some sort of bond and/or trust. (:

I love the sketch or Ravin !! :-) I'm so happy about it, great job! edit: would it be possible for you to put her minion under her belly/wing looking out/back (kind a near her back leg) in a timid way? I can add on to cost if that brings it up. If you can let me know and I'll give you the minion details. Her minion is a jakyl (on her profile).

And I also really like that chibi style so I'll take that other USD slot if I may. I'll update with the info on which pet soon. May I pay for both at the same time?

Jakyl is small in comparison, but not tiny. So he should come up to where the bend is in the back leg (not including his ears) or thereabouts. The Jakyl will not have any orange glow and his eyes will be the same color teal that is on Ravin. The Jakyl is black, (as shown on Ravin's Profile) but he has "socks" on his legs that are the color of his eyes(teal) at his paws and fade into a horizontal striped black pattern til it blends in with his body (at the shoulder area). His ears have the same pattern (teal at tips). His tail has the same pattern. And if you can add this detail, the teal areas have lighter blue "sparkle-specks" in it but not so much that it's insane.
Does that make sense?

And I'll get that other info up here soon, I'm about to get done working and then it'll be up.

Thanks for clarifying, the 'sparkles' are markings on his body over the teal (they glow but IDK if you can show that or not, but it's in the story lol).

Colour: Mint – shades of this color (like his backpack) and Coral (maybe the color of the crystals on his backpack/other things?)

Other Info: I want him to look like a border collie not a wolf(Kumos). He does not have extremely long fur though (His coat is about half as long as a real border collie(which I think the img ref shows well) except his tail has longer fur as it gets nearer the tip (but a bit less than the img ref)). His tail is also curving up more than the reference image I showed above. He has a thin stripe up the center of his face the same color as his muzzle (the lightest apricot color) and it ends just before it reaches his ear-line area. I would love it if he could be wearing a saddle bag-dog type backpacking bag (The color for the bag is shown on the character ref as the mint/green square thing lol). Like this: X. The backpacking/saddle bags should have nature-outdoors-types decorative patches on them (maybe 1-2 not a ton) and have a couple small tied crystals hanging off of zipper pulls/closure areas. Feel free to use your imagination. He just explores a lot and backpacking is his way of doing it.

He is playful, loves exploring, and extremely smart. He acts crazy and loopy sometimes though. He is totally unafraid of anything and loves everyone and everything.

Ravin and Jakyl I love Ravin and her minion so much it is almost unbearable! lol The only adjustment I would like to make is with her minion. I think the minion fades too much into Ravin so I want to make his coloring a deep-ish purple instead of black (or even a lighter shade of black-grey). I just need his purple coloring light enough so it stands out against Ravin's black. Please use your best judgement, I am open to any shade of purple really. I really like the pink accents/light on the minion thought so only the base color needs to be different. He is so adorable!

I really really really love Ravin, so much! <3 I can't top staring at her, even the details on her front legs are amazing!!! Seriously I love it so much!

Kodiak Dax As far as Kodiak Dax goes, I just think he looks too much like a wolf than a collie. Is it possible to narrow his neck area a bit and his nose and maybe make his nose a tad longer? I don't know exactly if that will help. Right now I see adorably cute wolf-chibi. lol :D He looks really really cute though! I think the tail is perfect!! His ears are perfect too, one totally is up while the other one flops over, I love it so much! I really am in love with this drawing! I hesitate to make you change it too much because I really do like this so much, but let me know if you think you can do that.

Payment Also I would like to talk payment. I am moving (will be actually moving on Wed/Thursday) and without internet or a computer-internet access for about a week. I could wait to pay you until I get internet back up, but I would like to know if we can just do that now?

There's not a too much I can do about the minion, because most of him is hidden in/by Ravin's shadow. I lightened him up a little with a dark purpleish grey from the palette though, and I added some lighter outlines both on the minion & on Ravin's leg, so hopefully that makes some difference & helps to set them apart:

Regarding payment, I totally see where you're coming from, and now that we're half-way there anyway I think that's fine. My Paypal can be found on the first page, and you can have the first file right after we settle the minion's colour thing. (:

And about the future slots, I'm sorry to say that I do prefer to stick to my no waitlist, first-come-first-serve system, not only to give everyone a fair chance at snagging a place, but also to give myself a breather between batches (I burn out quite quickly, but doing batches in reasonable mouthfuls makes it easier for me to keep up). That said, I'm really glad you're so happy with the result[s] that you're eager to queue up again. It means I've done something right, so I really, really appreciate that - thank you. (:

I can't find a labelled example of what the 'rough' style is, could you link me to a few examples please :)?

I love his expression and his eyes.

My biggest problem is with the coloring. I don't want any other colors on his body except the ones that I had on the reference and appropriate shading/highlights in those color families. And I'd like there to be the sharper edges at places where the colors meet. If it's hard to picture just imagine a border collie because he is supposed to be a border collie. The spots the I see on him I like but I hardly see any except in one place.

Also the bag is only that green/mint color (and appropriate shading/highlights) with the pinkish color for only the patches. And if there is a clip or something it can be the pink color. :-)

I'm still without Internet and using my phone so I don't know if it looks different on a PC or not. One more thing: I don't think I like the paw pad showing on the back paw because it looks awkward. Maybe just have it be more like the front paw that is also on the ground. :-)

I had to redo the colouring from scratch, but hope this is more like what you wanted. However, for future reference - my style (at least the one I'm offering in this shop) is characterised by heavy colour mixing & blending, so that should be kept in mind when commissioning me. Anyway, please let me know what you think!
