Of course! As much as I'm always seeking Seongwon art, I think I might try my sona as one of the pieces. I think they'd make a cool sticker and if I do decide to make a pet for them, then I'd have an overlay to use. Now the only problem is me deciding whether I want quad or human Seongwon. It has been a BUSY month but it has been a joy to see such a variety of pets and pet personalities here!! Do you have any thoughts on human Seongwon vs quad Seongwon? I have a new outfit for him (probably more suited for human form that might be fun to try).

Awesome! I love your approach to art and wanting to make me excited as well! I think my sona will be fun. It very much is a representation of me (and as you know I adore dogs) so seeing them full on dog will be great! No need to give them hair in quad form since that would look a little off in my opinion. As for Seongwon, everything makes my heart flutter about him! I'm finally starting his novel soon so I've been hoarding art to give me inspiration. Plus, I still need to collect all the stickers for my laptop as added inspiration^^

Here's Seongwon's newest outfit! His skin should be a darker Korean complexion so finally, I have a ref with the color I was looking for. His tail should still be curly or sickle shaped--I think the pose here just needed his tail to be a bit more dynamic.

I'm glad! I really love his new outfit especially since the bullet necklace becomes pretty important. The dog illustration came first and while the artist was working on giving him some accessories, they have him a square-ish pendant and I thought "hmm, what if this was a bullet! It would add something else to the plot/symbolism and help to tie up some loose ends." I'm also equally in love with his new outfit! It wouldn't replace his hanbok but gives it a more modern take and would allow him to wear it both for events and as a casual outfit.

If animals are your wheelhouse, we can work with that! But if you think it might be too much to put on a qaud (we can always simplify it though), we could try human. I do love your human cheebs/floofs and I promise you that they ARE great.

Thank you! It's both for personal achievement and to take a shot at actual novel writing. It's my dream to do something in the creative writing field but I'm currently in school exploring "safer" options professional writing/linguistics/legal writing so it's my way to test out if I could actually handle the career as a writer. Not that I couldn't write on the side if I end up in linguistics or legal research/writing. I want to get it done before I graduate in 2022 (or at least the first book if it proves to need more time and space to tell the story). It means so much you'd want a copy! I'd be sure to get one that was signed and had a little note from me and how grateful I am to you. Art inspires my writing so in part, my success (of finishing the novel) would be thanks to you! I've mostly dabbled in poetry and short stories so this will be an interesting undertaking for me.

I am absolutely diggin' the neck accessories, and the bullet having symbolism makes it even cooler. It just has such an elegant, well-balanced energy. I think that's what making me hesitate on the quad too - the outfit looks so good on a human, but since the quad is so floofy that might steal away some of that elegance. Of course it's adaptable, and we'd make it look great on a doggo too, but I'm really feeling the human vibe with this one, so perhaps go with cheeb first? I'd honestly be willing to push into fullbody human with this one too, but perhaps save that for another day;;;

Novel writing isn't exactly known to be painless, but I hope it proves itself to be a worthwhile journey for you & that you end up with something you're truly proud of (bonus if it marks the start of a new life journey!)! I'm glad it's comforting. Seongwon has Seen Some Shit and Dealt With Some Shit so he very much is the epitome of soft but strong. And I really wanted to write a story that many people could connect with. We all have to hide pieces of ourselves, but Seongwon is here to go through absolute self-loathing and so little self-worth he dies to protect his brother (still trying to see the good in a character who strayed on the wrong path). But through his story he is able to learn to love himself and refuses to hide what makes him him (which in the end helps bring peace to his world, or at least starts to topple a war/toxic mentalities).

Got'cha at the width! I usually work at nearly double that size for coloured sketches, but I'm not sure if the brush I use for these agrees too much with shrinking, so if that's the exact width you want then you got it! Does height matter at all?

Don't trust him, he knows he's adorable!! Height doesn't matter and if you need the canvas to be bigger or the style different that's fine too, Twitch will shrink it automatically and I'm happy to pay more. A mix between actual cat and cartoony, if possible? All good!

Haha, I did want clothes on the sona and the "spy outfit" is what I'm looking for. You can give them shoes if you want but I figured since they were a quad, they probably didn't need shoes. It was so late last night filing that out, it is totally on me for not clarifying. I'm happy to pay anything for the extra details.

AND Y E S ! So much sadness and angst, this is his natural state for most of his story. An emotional and highly empathetic child who sadly also had to grow to conceal that part of him.

So far 2, 4, and 7 are my favorites! 7 reminds me of how I look 90% of the time. I like the reaching pose since he could be reaching towards some cherry blossoms. 2 is also an nice sad pose. But I love how absolutely devastated he looks in 7. He loses his grandparents and may of the older residents of the traditional village he had to grow up in to hide while he could better control his shapeshift powers (so to avoid being killed, sent to workcamps, or forcefully drafted in the war) to a raid. He is able to save the village kids (who always bullied him). But the elders made sure he and the children survived. So coupled with his already strong feelings of being worthless, I can really feel pose 7 as encompassing some of that grief. He very well might also be crying after being told he was just a dog or one of the times he was bullied/beat up/abused. Of even just thinking about his time as a normal puppy which was also loveless and full of abuse. it works many many times throughout his story.
