So much fabulous fun, everyone! I love seeing the avvies and hearing about what people crave when the heat hits. We're cooking out tonight and now I'm scrounging for a good dessert recipe while the hubs grills. Mmm, mmm, good!

BUT, back to one of the promised moments of the FAB FOURTH event~~ :::

Similar to other releases during the event, I will be gifting 100 CSC to someone in the first batch who slots during the FAB FOURTH. If the whole batch fills by 11:59pm on July 4th, I'll gift 250 CSC to someone in the first batch, and 100 CSC to someone in the second.

Ohh gorgeous CWS. And fun contest! I sadly changed out of my summer Ha though his one features elements of my favorite summertime holiday. I lived near a gorgeous lake and we would spend all day there in the 4th. And then the fireworks over the lake were the perfect finishing touch! This ha is waiting for the sun to set a bit more before the show. :)

Okay, so here is my Summer HA entry:

Private Outfit

She's got the fun color in her hair for summer, along with a flower chain she built from flowers picked on her way to this lake. She's carrying a rope because she's gonna build a rope swing on that tree to jump out into the water from. She usually wears more jewelry but plans to have way too much fun to be able to worry about whether it's still attached. (Though she feels pretty safe about her nose ring.) And the only makeup she wore is a flavored spf 30 lip balm to protect her lips. The rest of her gear (sunscreen, towel, snacks, water bottle, a good book, and one of those fancy portable stereo speakers to stick her phone in to play music, oh and her phone, but with the ringer turned off) is in that colorful tote. And who needs shoes on a day like this? <3

Picking my favorite summer item out of what she's wearing is hard, because I don't feel like many of them are particularly summery until it's put together.... That wig is definitely my favorite. It may not scream summer to everyone, but I feel like summer is the time when people really go for the bold hues in their hair. Yeah some are brave enough all year round, but more people seem relaxed and daring in the summer. I keep imagining it up in a pony tail, and I just wish my hair looked similar to that. <3 <3 <3 uploaded to photobucket because subeta's share feature hates me
