I used to play Neopets a lot, yes. I have to say, they both have their pros and cons! I like playing them both!

I grew up playing neopets but I can't stand to get on there anymore. It's been going downhill for years but ever since it got sold to jumpstart it's been worse than ever. I have great memories playing years ago but it's just not the same anymore :c

Meee. xD I've gotten way more active here since Neopets started going drastically downhill. After the whole stolen art issue, I've pretty much quit the site. Subeta's much more fun and friendly anyways. I'm kicking myself a little for not being more active on here sooner haha. It only took me over 11 years to quit Neopets lol.

I firstly was at neopets too =) But yeah...i think the site really goes downhill...no events and so on. I loved Neopets very much but its sad how it is now. So i started to play here. At the first time i always thought um Neopets is so much better and so on because it was familiar for me. But after a year i learned to love Subeta pretty more than Neopets because of all events, ideas, the kindness of all moderators and the ones who host this site and so on. I like the community. I like to write so open about so many topics, even other sites!!! At neopets i couldnt write about subeta.

I remember way back on neopets I saw a 'different' petsite and I was so mad, I was like 'this is such a ripoff of neopets how dare they'. And then joined the site. And then discovered there were a lot of pet sites. And then joined Subeta, many eons after.

I went on last night and it won't let me on. I went on a side account and it says my main is frozen. I'm so mad. I didn't do anything. I've been on there for 15 years. It might be a glitch because the site is being worked on so I hope that's just the case. Even if I never play anymore, it's still my account and I want it to be safe. You know? :)

I did! I never had much luck on there with making neopoints and found it to be very difficult. Then they started having all the lag problems. I saw several things posted on their Facebook fans page about other virtual animal games, and my friend, told me about this site. That was almost a year ago! I can't believe I didn't find it sooner!

I know! If I hadn't spent $11 million on a one week gold account, I would have had about $100 million on here now! I love that they make it fun to make money and not so tedious. I also love that you can buy CSC things with sp unlike on Neopets.

I am, Neopets locked my out which apparently isn't the worst thing that could have happened. It's prime is gone and the staff doesn't seem to care.

It's been, like almost 6 years since I played Neopets? I was already disilusioned with it long ago, but once I almost considered going back.

Instead, I found Subeta instead, and it's been much better :)

so anyone remember that whole-site revamp like 9 years ago that happened with no warning? yeah, that was when i found this place from a board about better pet sites. (I had to spend 6 years. SIX YEARS. with the username "cries_for_neo" because i couldn't afford the changer)

Yes, I used to go on there. In fact, I got told about this site on a Neopets fan discussion forum. I lost interest in it, I'm not sure why, I just did. I don't have any intentions of going back there.

I had a neopets account years ago (possibly 10 years ago because I'm old) but didn't join Subeta untl recently when I saw an ad on Facebook. I really enjoy all the avatar customization here. Also, neo went to the dogs back when I was getting off of it, so it's nice to be on a site that isn't a total mess.

I came over from Neo last year when they had that big shitstorm of downtime/no response/etc. I love it here! I rarely go back over there. There is so much more to do here! Plus, it's so nice not to ever get warned or anything like that. And the communication between staff and players is amazing. I love it.

Yeah, same here mostly. My ex recommended Subeta to me and I joined (our nickname for the site was based on Neopets), though I haven't been active the whole time I've been on.

I remember I stopped going on Neopets when they started implementing fun new additions to the site... that cost real money. Then they wound up deleting my account when I couldn't verify some information. (In all fairness, I did violate the terms by sharing an account between me and a friend, so I didn't have the fake birthday information they'd originally entered. But I was also 12 or so at the time, which was almost a decade ago.)

I feel like Subeta has more integrity. And when there's a limited amount of things, like Token Shop restocks... they're not all gone within a fraction of a second! It's nice.
