Me (four years ago)! Although, I'm still on Neo though not as much especially when the boards went down recently. I found out that I really don't have much to keep me connected to the site after that. Most of my neofriends are gone due to real life and real life is having fun kicking me in the rear.

Now if I can start & finish themes on the pets I have, here, it would be lovely.

I dont know how it was 10 years ago, but the filters nowadays are relentless!! You literally cant say anything that has a word you can use in a bad context in anyway!

Its cracked, seaweed, grapes, cracker, suck, you can say ball but not balls..... skills... (seriously SKILLS!!???!!)

You also get warned for saying subeta, facebook, twitter, etsy, ebay, anything like that. They baby their users and thats why they go wild when the sites filters so happen to go down :p

Its terrible. Thats why im on here for the most part, I cannot handle all that mess xD

I could imagine "skills" is bad because it contains the word "kill" but maybe their reasoning is different as well...either way it's silly to have so many filters imo, silly and annoying. No surprise that you felt like in kindergarten there, I would do, too and leave before I even really started playing again, I love my freedom here too much to spend my time in a virtual care bear community. XD

that's exactly the reason! I once was trying to neo mail a friend and it was a longggg paragraph but for the life of me could not figure out what the damn word was xD. I messaged him on fb and he was like it's probably the word skills it's gotten me a few times :p I was like... really -.-

I totally agree with you on that. It's too childish there and the funny thing is older people play a lot more than actual children xD

whatever great memories you have of neo (back when they had the terror mountain puzzle with dead staff members everywhere) cherish it because thst kind of stuff Is gone along with most of all the old staff! They fired them :(

Me! :D Didn't log in for quite a while, until recently to play Yooyoo ball. Saw somebody mentioning something as The 2015 Neopocalypse.. What does that mean? Anybody who'd like to inform me about that? ;)

, I think they might be referring to the "mass chaos" when the filters went down. People were having a field day. Moderators also were unable to do anything. Jumpstart says it was a server issue but it seems fishy. Alas, the site is losing users very quickly.

I'm still attached to my pets there, but not the site.

ME! I came on this site around 2007 when I saw it starting to come together with some of my favorite artists. Who knew it would be my favorite site ever? Lol. I just recently left Neopets for good. I go to check up on my account once in awhile. But damn, has it gone downhill 0.0!

Our land specific support was so underwhelming that I'm not sad to hear they all got fired, lol We even had nicknames for some of them, like "Peter Delete Button" - guess that says it all XD

I feel sorry for a friend of mine though, she still plays Neopets and is of course not happy with the current happenings.

Imo the site has been failing for the past few years not just when Jumpstart took over.... but its gotten worse!

Bring her over here!! That'swhat a neo friend did for me xD so glad she did. I can barely handle logging on to feed my pets... dont even do my dailies anymore :p

It has been so bad. Lol. Just look @ the comments on Facebook with everything they post.

She already joined Subeta many years ago but since she's not fluent in English she sadly never really felt welcome here and now mostly keeps her account to foster Pets.

Thanks for explaining! :)Well, that's a bad situation for TNT. I used to play neo a lot, really liked it. But I got bored of it. Hardly ever something new, the economy went crazy already a long time ago. I've seen it all, from Dupe Day, to random icings, very rude people, and endless cheats. I mean, where is the fun in that? :(

And then out of the blue my Draik got deleted by TNT. Over one year after creating him. Without no warning, nothing because his name was considered "inappropriate" . I actually sent TNT a ticket three months before creating him, never got responded, they did close it though. I was very pissed. I did send a complaint, but of course, yet again, no response. Still also very attached to my other pets though 0:-) Phew Feels good to have it all aired out, lol

I came from Neopets a little over a week ago, I found about about Subeta from somebody on the boards. Ever since then I fell in love with the community here. I really love Subeta and it makes me wonder why I stuck with Neopets for so long. I still currently play it, but I don't know how much longer I'll play it. The more I'm on Subeta the more I favor it over Neopets.

I played Neopets over 10 years but when they crashed the side I went offline for a while. I thought it will be better in a vew months but they still couldn't make it right. All my NFs are hardcore Players and still play Neopets every day. They train 3L Pets to get their favourite UCs, what's more work than fun I think. I miss my friends, my guild and some of my Pets but I won't go back anymore. I came, saw and loved Subeta xD

I started playing Neopets years ago, but ended up more or less dropping the site like a hot potato when I found Subeta. This was around the time things really started to go downhill fast for Neopets, when things such as the community becoming more juvenile, the staff becoming even more absent as well as erratic, and the site quality staying stagnant and even seeming to degrade, took over. So I'm very grateful to have found this wonderful site when I did.

Neopets automatically freezes any account that hasn't been logged into for 18 months, and they aren't good at answering tickets unless it deals with NC.

I have the same reasons for sticking around Neo. It took me 5 years to hoard 5 million on there, and now that my account is nearing 10 years, I've actually been visiting more.

I didn't actually find Subeta from Facebook since I usually sign into Facebook only once every three months, but I did look up other pet sites during the "Neopocalypse." I'd spent all month playing during the Altador Cup, and after suddenly being cut off from support from my team, I was crazy antsy.

This was actually the first time I did any real socializing on Neo. I wonder if that's a big reason why I'm not as disgusted with Neopets as some seem to be. It was always just a site I'd visit intermittently when I needed to relax alone for a while.

The ability to earn sP quickly on here is a relief. With Neopets, it feels like clawing tooth and nail to get any amount of usable NP. I feel like my goals on here are actually accomplishable while my goals on Neo are decidedly long-term. The customization on here is something I love, and restocking to gain currency here doesn't make me swear profusely.

Also, the fact that I can eventually name a Paralix "Lisa Frank" and paint it blacklight tickles my sentimental fancy.

I saw the posting about Subeta, came to see and only return to Neopets to see my pets. At first the human avatar was a mystery to me. Once I figured it out I really love the idea. The pets here are so remarkable. After a few days here I took out a gold account as I wanted more than 5 pets. The staff here is just great! They apologize if they are 30 minutes late answering a ticket. And even make sure there is nothing else they can do for you. Absolutely amazing when a year can go by before a ticket is addressed at Neopets. I also like the games here. It takes awhile to adjust here. I find the community here is friendly. So many have reached out to explain, done what they could to make it easier for a newbie here. Cannot seem to get around to saying all the good things!!!

So true... it takes forever to make points on there, most of my guild members are gone and I stopped going to the boards years ago because people were so incredibly nasty. They don't care about cookie grabbers, auto-buyers and game cheaters. Just NC.

That's one of the things that make this place so refreshing. I can talk like an adult and the staff actually responds. Shocked the heck out of me the first time. On Neo I had a ticket open for at least a couple of years that they never took care of and then closed it. The place is a mess.
