@blackwolf_2009 I mentioned it a page or so ago, but the loyalty boxes are not able to be moved from the inventory. Every single item is like that. It isn't just yours that doesn't move, it's all of them! If I marked a certain minion as immovable right now, no one would be able to move it! It isn't coded the way it might appear. :)

@ Zeraiin Right now we are focusing on helping people finish collections. When we figure out a way to get minions/clothing out, we&;ll also be including these items for TC purposes :D

Are galleries included in this? I'm not sure what the shops held 100%, but there may be things I'd want for a gallery over a TC and vice-versa :)

Just to clear it up: while some items do need to be deflated/attainable, the main point of this is really to help people complete collections. Right now it's almost impossible, to the point where people don't bother. Yes, the sP sink is great, yes, maybe helping deflate the items on site a bit is great, but this is specifically to help with collections :)

Oh now that makes much more since. Wow that'd screw over all the ones on the market and who have them already wouldn't it? :/ Guess that idea is moot now. -lol-

Re: non-collectible items (and frankly I would prefer this for collectible items as well):

Right now, long-ago retired and event items get re-released in batches in the Crystal Shop. Why not set up the Crystal Shop so that it automatically restocks a certain number of event/retired items on a regular basis? Not massive stacks, mind you, but a restock every hour or so with a handful of items that are currently in very low circulation, in order to boost their availability slightly.

That way, most of the value of having been around for the event and getting the involved items can be maintained, while still providing opportunities for users who missed the event to have limited access to those items.

Additionally, this would make better use of the Crystal Shop, which has the potential to engage users in helping to clear out the clutter of junk items on the site, but isn't being used frequently enough to really do that on a large scale.

I'm assuming part of the impetus for this is a desire to create a new, massive sP sink. Perhaps the kind folks at the Crystal Shop could be bribed into allowing us to purchase a certain number of credits with them in sP. Or perhaps even a plot event about a dispute between them and the Millionaire Center or Centropolis that prevents whoever runs the Crystal Shop from visiting the Millionaire Center, and so they'll accept items from the store in lieu of Humming Power Crystals (with the amount they credit you based on the sP value in the Center of the item). In that way, it could function as both an sP sink and a tool to rid the site of a good chunk of junk items.

My understanding from past posts by is that there's a strong desire to maintain things like event items and retired items as "special" and something users who missed out on getting at the time are not "entitled" to get. It seems to me like the ability to purchase these special items, without any limit on the number being introduced, even if just for collections, takes away much of the specialness of having had to have been there. By releasing these items in small stacks over time, that specialness can be preserved while still giving everyone a shot at enjoying some of the wonderful items that were released long ago :)

, in reference to NON-collection/wearables/etc:

So you want to limit the market to keep them rare, but yet still release some more of the said items onto the site. How about giving all the items a set sP price, and then giving each user/account a lifetime buying limit.

For instance, say a shop has a total of 35 items. A user could buy any available item at its sP price, with the exception that they could only ever purchase from this shop, say 10 times? This would push 10 NEW items into the system.

The user could then choose to do with them whatever they wanted: resell, TC, Wardrobe, Gallery, Etc!

I have no idea of how complex would that be. But it would definitely involve changing how TCs work. The global chest would have a specific size (10 for every pet) + those who bought slots would just have them added once the feature is out. The current achievements would be replaced with global chest size ones (keeping old prizes, of course)

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't quite get your point. I thought you were suggesting a wardrobe-like thing for TCs. Like a second wardrobe. Sorry for the confusion!

But why have something less efficient for the sake of collections, who will remain impossible anyway, over something more efficient that would actually please a lot of users.

Collections will remain impossible to complete because of the high volume of DP plushies and books released since 2010, where pretty much no one ever took the plushies/books when they were choices and now, since there are so little around, we're screwed.

This doesn't help collections as much as we think it does.

im wondering if the price of an item can be coded to scale by 5-15% (the same way battle opponents scale 10% with every win) with each consecutive buy of the same item for tradable items.

I'm in the same boat with people who'd like some of these items as TC items.

Sunflower seemed to have the right idea about the Loyalty Box way, but without affecting the originals, why not 'duplicate' the items, give them their own special category (like genetech, game prize, etc) give them a slightly different name, like Jacques Compass could be Replica Jacques Compass and have them function similar to the Loyalty Box, only with the options to put it into a gallery/vault/treasure/collection.

I guess that still brings up the collection issues for achievements and such since it's a new item but perhaps there's some way it could check for both? So either one ticks the criteria.

Since I don't give a crap about TCs or galleries I'm basically dancing with joy. (Until I see those prices and nope back out, but whatever.)

Good luck on finding a solution for non-collectibles; I'd love to get some of the wearables from events/plots I missed.

The good thing about that would be the ability to just put items that really are nonexistent in there and monitor their value, really what we already do there! Something to consider. I like the sP option, akin to the recycling center.

It better be better than the Hustler, who is widely RNG based, and is more of a cheap costume trunk / delish/viv dispenser than anything else. The Hustler is seriously underwhelming.

I don't really do collections, so I hope you guys figure something out for the wearables and non-collection items! Such a great idea. There are too many amazing, old, unobtainable items.

Nope, I have a different idea for them! Though Ariel is going to be adding some more to the Hustler for now!
