Yea I thought my love affair with vodka would end last year when I drank about 3/4 a bottle in 2 hours...And OMG it was painful. My emotional walls broke and I cried hysterical for hours and beyond that...the actual physical pain my body was in. But nope, I still love my vodka. Now rum and I had a similar time years and years ago...I drank about 1/4 a bottle in under a minute (stupid college times) and yea we never got along again. I can drink it in with other things, but yea the second it starts to go thru my body it is painful. :( I miss you rum and most of your drinks. sniffles

PINKIE PIE!!! SQUEE!!! Limiting the beverages is a good thing. I had my Fuzzy Navels last night and nothing tonight. Although tempted. LOL If I go the beer route I really like either the Sam Adams stuff or Blue Moon. They had this one out this past winter that was seasonal and really good. I think one of the local bars/restaurants serves like a local beer...but I don't recall. Im in Missouri and home of Anheuser Busch so beer is kinda a cornered market.

I'm not a beer or ale drinker personally. I like one type of wine and hard liquor haha.

Its so sad when alcohol doesn't want to be your friend anymore :(

granted this is a preboard, but we are all living it up at Squirrelys drinking and merriment. Conversing with fellow adventures. My weapons are at the ready for any battle to or to stop from eating to much cake. Sadly I see nothing to push down... So perhaps off a chair will do. Lol

Yea true. Stupidity tends to lead us down the wrong road with our friends. I am just glad I am friends with the other alcohols still. BUT stinks when you see a drink and it sounds good to find out the ONE friend you are no longer with is involved.
