I am annoyed over any and all vend-specific items.

Instead of closing down so many shops, why not shut down some of the vending machines and basically blend multiple ones together. That way people can still vend and less of specific items will (potentially) come out. See how that works out. And no more vend-specific items. Vending is horrid (I can see why people would like it, but it's terrible for the economy). Retire older items + release some new ones. Don't focus on wearables. Take some of our ideas for genetech items (one big one was the dress shirt idea I had that Shalalalala?Ithink? added to; another was weapons using Mathis' items); this will be good for TC fodder + possibly increase interest and raise prices of some items. I am terrible at restocking, and the timer discourages me more, but I don't know how to fix that without opening things up for the cheaters.

To add onto your ideas, fusing machines is good. I don't see the need for more than 3-4 machines, including the omen islands ones.

  • CHERRY PET ELIXIRS, BEANBAGS AND PLUSHIES. For most species, these items do not have to be redrawn from scratch. Just recolored.

  • Add more items to UNDERUSED SHOPS. Game consoles (Handhelds and home consoles) to bits and bytes, various sour and not-sour gummies, sour and non-sour jelly beans to candy shop, more varieties of loose leaf tea to get mugged.

  • More Mathis things, serious.

  • Basic pet stickers

Definitely don't get why the site encourages vending, considering all that does is pump thousands of already-cheap items into the economy and ruin prices even more. I'm not a restocker in the sense that it's how I make a lot of money, but I do prefer periodically checking the main shops for items I want until they're cheap enough to get from user shops to spending thousands of Wizard Tokens in an attempt to vend them and creating a crapload of worthless trash in the process.

Would not be upset at all if vending was removed from the site (though other people would, so maybe just...stop encouraging all of us to vend to the limit every single day).

I like vending but I wouldn't mind ripping out all the machines completely if it meant we got new items for the NPC shops. >> 'No one restocks' is not a good excuse when it's been ages since you've put items in some of the shops. I happen to love shopping in the main shops-- the problem comes from the fact that staff refuses to retire main shop items and release new ones. You wonder why so many items are worthless when the main shops are still stocking items from six years ago?n

OH MY GOSH NO MORE ELIXIRS. I am terrible and as much as I like how cheap they can be, I've thought they should make them more limited for years now. They just sit there and sit there and most become cheaper in shop search because of it. Which kinda adds to the "no one restocks" problem. So I guess I shouldn't say 'no more elixirs' and just say 'make them more limited.' LIKE THE TOKEN SHOP. It could be a monthly thing where certain colors go in. BUT YES TO THE CHERRY (and Silver) ITEMS. And everything else you put.

I actually love vending! It's quick and easy and it's a great feeling when you vend something good. But it's not sustainable and I don't want all my items become 100sP :c

Echoing , here are some ideas that would be good sinks:

  • All the items in All That Glitters, lots of them are only in gold or only in silver. Hell make some of the chains black or neon purple, whatever.

  • A larger variety of battle potions would be great, the current ones do 11(I think) icons of one type but it would be nice if we could get potions that do a couple of types. Defend + Weapons shops can be merged and so could Magic + Apothecary.

  • Some more recolours of really basic wardrobe items like and would be a joyous occasion.

I'd also like to see the shop prices scaled to what they sell. Magic Box and ATG are good examples of this - they sell rarer or harder to obtain items and therefore are more expensive. I think the wearable, book and food shops should have the item costs increased as these are the most commonly bought items and even a small increase would take out a nice chunk of sP.

  • MILLIONAIRE CENTER. X5000. TAKE MY MONEY. MAKE A SHOE SECTION OR SOMETHING.

  • More Genetech items. Like A LOT MORE. Recolours of existing ones too.

The Atebus Shop is still selling items that were there when I joined over ten years ago.

Anyway, back to restocking. There's no limit to how many items people with ordinary accounts can restock from the NPC shops but there's a limit of 100 vends and fewer quests. I don't want to see Subeta end up as a site where people might as well not bother if they can't buy a GA.

I really don't like releasing things via vending.

I do like vending, especially for new shop releases, but there are so many vending machines and most of the stuff you get is worthless. The value on so many things is crap because, I'm assuming, so many are pumped in. There are some days I'll get 3+ of the same item in one vending run.

I think some of the vending machines should be merged. Do we really need so many? There's 11 token-currency vending machines. Drop that to six. Five regular, plus OD.

If you want to release something via vending, do something like skew the vend chance on that item and give it a crazy high shop rarity. That way we don't have to pump hundreds of items back into the site for one item. Hell, stick it in the millionaire center. One or two vend-specific items per machine is plenty. A little reward based on chance for those who do it.

one of the reason i didn't purchase GA is because of vending. it drives item prices to lower than original price way to much, i got scared of autoprice. and GA is quite expensive now, it just not worth it.

Then, if NO MORE ELIXIRS IN THE MAGIC SHOP, what do you add to the magic shop?

Things that won't make it redundant with Apocalyptic Apothecary, and Spells Galore.

Token Shop elixirs are not something I want to see. The potions are like, 300K, no one is going to buy them for usage.

They will only be a hassle for collectors.

In the future, I would rather they release items like this to the fragmentizer. Doing so would:

  1. Cut down on hoards. Have a bunch of items? Turns about half of them into crystals, which just sit in a currency bank until you purchase the item. Have more NEW items, less crystals in circulation.
  2. It does not bring a ton of items into existence for a mere 2 token a piece and devalues the items already selling in user and npc shops.
  3. It could also help having users buy up inexpensive items just to frag them, thus putting value back into items.
  4. Brings much needed attention to the Fragmentizer.
  5. It helps eliminate tokens as I pretty much use the vending machines to get items just to put in the frag.

There's 1 item in there, 1! I was here before the clearing and none of those items were really of interest to me. You had new items to referrals, the recycle beast, the npc point shops, but how come the Fragmentizer receives little love when all the rest have restocked?

-edited to add another useful point

Magical items, duh ! They could kill two birds with one stone and do magical cherry plushies. But the Magic Box is such an odd array of items... It has wearables, plushies, weapons, potions, etc. Anything they can relate to magic could work. It's already a rather redundant shop to be honest. It could be taken down and have all of the items placed elsewhere and still make sense (not suggesting this, Subeta).

Some are less than 100k, Hell some are closer to 10k again. I don't understand why they kept common rarities with them when they were all bumped up in price. "Spend 50k+ for items that are essentially frag-fodder and a good portion are currently less than 5k each."

I have such mixed feelings about Genetech combos. On the one hand, I do find the actual process of combining items to make something cool really fun. On the other hand, a bunch of combinations involve inexplicably rare items, and if they use cheaper/more common items, people buy them all up to jack up the price and it's SO ANNOYING. (inb4 everyone starts shouting FREE MARKET at me)

What if combos involved low rarity items nobody is buying. Yeah, people would jack up the price still...but you could still easily restock them

You know there's a problem with having special items in a vending machine when after I vend a few times from the one with the special items and sort out the cheap rares to frag I can make a better profit selling the rest to the Pawn Shop instead. :|

Last night I vended around 20 times from each machine. Dragons Hoard and Grave Digger are now pretty much worthless. Grave Digger because of so many vending to the limit for that apple. Out of the 20 items I had nothing from those two machines even worthwhile to place in my shop. I would add Blue Moon but I did get a couple of items actually over 3k sp.

Oh, yes, definitely! It's just that most of the time when a combo uses a restockable item it's rare/super rare and thus way easier to artificially inflate the prices because they restock in NPC shops much less often. If they were lower rarity items that restocked more frequently I'd be all about Genetech.
