By the way ... Do you really put cheese on stuffing? Is that something common in your area, or is that something just you or just your family do? I've really never heard of that... o.O

My mom has always put grated cheddar in her Thanksgiving stuffing. It's amazing! Any doubters who've tried it have loved it. Top it off with a little gravy and mmmm...

I operate on the basic idea that most stuffings are kinda icky and cheese and gravy are awesome. It isn't that I wouldn't eat stuffing as it was, but if there's some spare cheese or gravy sitting around it gets dosed.

I have put thinly sliced zuchini in with my grain-pasta and it works pretty good, and spagetti squash. Preparing the spaghetti aquash so that it's properly spagettized is a pain, so I'd try the zukes first.

Farfalle or Egg Noodles?

I'm making a lemon cake for my hubbie for is birthday right now. :) I NEVER like lemon cake, so I don't have a recipe of my own. But the mother of one of my friends served me the only lemon cake I actually ever loved, so I got the recipe from her for today. :) Fingers crossed it turns out well!
