As much as I love tomato soup, I don't think I want it as a side for my mac! Gimme mac and cheese with hot dogs, preferably sliced round and mixed in. Hubby hates it, but man, childhood memories!!!

Yellow curry with chickpeas, or or chicken stir-fry?

Haha, yeah, I'm pretty sure childhood memories are pretty defining as far as mac and cheese goes...

Monster cookies or regular peanut butter cookies?

I had to look up what a monster cookie was since I have never heard of those xD They sound good so let's go with that one.

Candy cane or Gingerbread cookie?

Haha, I have them on my mind... My husband asked me to make them for an event, but I accidentally doubled the butter, so I had to double the entire recipe. Then, I discovered our oatmeal had gone bad, so I couldn't finish them until I could go to the store... By then, the event was over, so we now have a double batch of monster cookies in our kitchen. That is SOOO many cookies. I love them, and they are wonderful. But that is a LOT of cookies. I'm hoping I can get my husband to take a bunch to work and school with him, or I might hand some out to my English students this week... We'll see. :O

Candy cane, definitely! Because gingerbread cookies, I can make, but candy canes, I have to get mailed to me from America! And then I horde them. :O (They have them here sometimes, but they always look right, but wind up tasting like strawberry or something like that. Ew).

Chicken noodle soup with crackers or chili with cornbread?

And here I thought candy canes were everywhere xD There are some strange flavors of them out there and believe me, the normal peppermint ones are the best...though a couple of the fruit ones are okay.

I will have to go with a chicken stir-fry. Sounds good ^^

Enchilada or burrito?

Yeah, I didn't mind the fruit ones back home, when I KNEW they were going to be fruity, and when I still had ready access to the mint ones. But, too, usually the fruity ones are slightly different colors, so you know in advance. Here, they use the traditional colors, but the wrong flavor. Just enough to get your hopes up!

Enchilada, but only because they are more work to make, and there aren't many decent Mexican restaurants around here. The last time I went to a Mexican restaurant, no matter what you ordered, it was basically a fajita. If you ordered a fajita, okay, you got all of the pieces, and you put them together yourself. If you got a burrito, you got the same stuff, but it was already wrapped up. If you got a taco, still, same stuff, just folded slightly differently... And they didn't have Mexican rice OR beans! Not with your order, and not available as sides. The side to my burrito full of salad was a salad. o_O And it was still about 25 franks per person. -_- For salad and a little bit of meat.

Dried Banana chips! Or plantains. I get bags of those all the time. They're better than potato chips!

Oh what a horrible choice to make C'mere both of you! The fries I guess, because it's easy to add more salt.

Apple Pie or Vanilla Ice Cream?

Ugh, I am not a fan of apple pie and ice cream in general bothers my stomach but I'll go with vanilla ice cream, just not too much of it.

Banana nut bread or Almond poppy seed muffin?

i've never had an almond poppyseed muffin, but i love all three of those things so incredibly much that i'd give up my left arm for one.

milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

If you dilly dally too much over the ice cream, my cats will insist you give them a share. That's less for you to have to eat while still appearing polite and you get to see their goofy brainfreeze expression, which is a weird thing to see on a cat.
